With that being said, Luminous should be more confident.  

While throwing words of encouragement that I definitely couldn’t let her hear, I lay down in the futon.  

When I glanced toward Kirisaki after lying down, she was already fast asleep. 

She was wearing an eye mask with a character design, breathing softly as she slept.  

…..That was fast. Well, Kirisaki’s motto is that “sleep is very important” if she wants to get stronger.  

As I lay down, Seraph and Luminous also crawled into their respective futons, and we turned off the lights.

Tomorrow, we’ll dive into the dungeon again and level up.  

I’ve gotten much stronger after yesterday and today, but there are still parts where I can’t move quite like a game character yet.  

I still need more practice.  

As I mentally practiced, I slowly began to drift off.  

From around me, I could hear the comforting sound of breathing. I don’t know whose it is. But just being in an environment where I can hear the sleep sounds of the characters I liked from the game, I feel incredibly lucky. Should I record it and save it?  

As I thought this, I felt someone approach me.

It was Luminous. 

She looked at me with a pouty expression, glancing over at Seraph several times.  

“……What’s wrong?”  

I whispered, and Luminous flinched. She then pressed a finger to her lips in a “shh” gesture. How cute. Wait, no, I need to ask her the reason.  

“…Did something happen?”  

“…Yesterday, Seraph was using you as a body pillow, right? That’s cheating.”  

Luminous was pouting and staring at me intently.  

Cheating?  

It seemed like Luminous wasn’t satisfied with something.  

She sighed and then nimbly slipped into my futon.  

“H-Hey…!”  

I froze up instinctively. Of course, I said “Hey.” But deep down, I was so happy I felt like jumping for joy. I was only saying it outwardly.  

Luminous’ body, now inside the futon, gradually moved closer to me.  

She was so close now, just barely not touching me. The moment her soft body brushed against my skin, my heart skipped a beat.  

“What’s wrong, Takigawa? Are you nervous?”  

She said that, but her cheeks were red too.  

Her fingertips lightly grazed my arm. They moved deliberately slowly, almost as if she was enjoying my reaction. They glided smoothly.  

“Are you… a little scared?”  

“I’m not… it’s not like that.”  

Her tone was teasing.  

Her fingers traced lightly across my wrist, then moved up to my shoulder, and then to my neck.

What a feather-light touch.  

Every place she touched seemed to heighten my senses.
  

In this closed space, her warmth gradually spread.  

“Come on, relax. You always try too hard, Takigawa.”  

Her voice was gentle yet had a teasing edge. She was definitely enjoying my reactions.  

Her face moved closer, and her breath brushed against my ear. My heart raced, but I couldn’t move.  

It was like she was testing me, slowly closing the distance. Each time her fingers caressed my neck, cold sweat ran down my back.  

If this goes on… I might actually do something…!  

“…L-Luminous. Didn’t you have something to do? I was planning to sleep since I have an early morning tomorrow…”  

“Oh, right. Takigawa’s reaction was so amusing, I just couldn’t stop.”  

Seeing my confused face, Luminous giggled softly.  

Finally, her fingers lightly grazed my cheek before they moved away. Her mischievous smile was right in front of me.  

She really is a devil.  

I tried to relax my shoulders a little. But even now, with her touch gone, my heart was still pounding.  

I turned my back to Luminous as I lay in the futon, and she started gently stroking my back.

“You know, I can’t sleep…”  

“…Hey, turn around.”  

Luminous forcefully turned me toward her, still gently stroking my back.  

Well, I had no choice. I had to face her.  

When I turned to face her, Luminous smiled.  

“Which do you prefer… sleeping with Seraph or me?”  

“Huh? What do you mean?”  

“…Exactly what I said. …I always lose to Seraph.”

At her sudden confession, I was a little surprised. But I waited for Luminous to continue speaking. She turned to her back and started to quietly share her feelings.

“Everyone around me always says how amazing Seraph is… Well, it’s true, she *is* amazing. I know that. Seraph is strong, smart, kind… she’s cute, and, well, her chest is big… I know everyone loves her.”

There was a hint of frustration in her voice.  

I knew Luminous had feelings of inferiority toward Seraph. But the fact that she was opening up about this to me showed that she really did have a high regard for me.

“…But I don’t want to lose. That’s why I’m asking you, which one of us you’d prefer to sleep with.”  

There was something earnest in her words, a sense of desperation.
