I Reincarnated as Just a Mob in an Eroge World, but the Heroines Are Swarming Me - Episode 50
Episode 50
A single blow from the Kyōjū shattered my arm, followed by a kick that struck my abdomen directly.
Coughing up bl00d, I still managed to stand and brought my fist down with all the strength I had left.
The Kyōjū’s face shattered into pieces. But the next moment, another one lunged at me.
I almost collapsed on the spot but desperately held my ground. My entire body was enveloped in pain, and my consciousness threatened to fade.
With a body far past its limits, I summoned every ounce of strength I could muster.
“Th-this guy…! Why won’t he go down?!”
“He should’ve died a long time ago! What is this guy?!”
Even the Kyōjūs—monsters themselves—were beginning to fear me.
Honestly, I was surprised too.
I never thought I’d still be able to move like this.
My breathing was labored, and my chest burned like it was on fire. But I had no intention of stopping.
If I could take just one more of them down, I would.
Ahead of me, the Kyōjūs continued to block my path.
While struggling to catch my breath, I swung my fists again. Despite their fear, the beasts charged at me in waves. I managed to fend them off with punches and kicks, but my legs wavered beneath me. They were weakened by bl00d loss and exhaustion.
Still, I kept striking them down—one beast, then another.
Every wound burned with feverish pain, but I couldn’t allow myself to fall.
A punch to a Kyōjū’s torso made it dissolve into black mist. Then, I kicked the next one to create some space. But then…
From deep within Shizuho Dungeon’s entrance, an overwhelming presence made itself known.
A chill ran down my spine. This was something entirely different from the Kyōjūs I’d faced so far.
I could feel the intense magic energy saturating the air.
The Kyōjūs around me fell silent, and a heavy, oppressive atmosphere descended upon us.
…It’s here.
Cold sweat trickled down my back.
There was no doubt—it was the boss.
Heavy footsteps echoed from the depths of the dungeon. The Kyōjūs retreated, opening a path as though welcoming something.
Then it appeared—a colossal humanoid Kyōjū, towering roughly three meters tall.
It looked like a lion and exuded the presence of a king commanding the other beasts.
I muttered a taunt under my breath, as if provoking it.
“…So, you’ve finally shown yourself.”
Gritting my teeth, I glared at the figure before me.
This was the leader of the Kyōjūs… the boss, likely the one who broke the dungeon’s seal.
“To think a mere human could cause this much trouble…”
The boss’ deep voice rumbled.
Before I could even process his words, the surrounding Kyōjūs surged forward again.
“Damn it… these bastards!”
I clenched my fists once more and faced the oncoming horde.
But this time, it was different. With the boss present, their movements were sharper, more ferocious.
“…!”
Several Kyōjūs attacked simultaneously. I barely dodged their strikes and countered with a series of punches.
As long as the boss stood there, this battle wouldn’t end.
Desperately swinging my fists, I fought off their relentless assault.
Panting heavily, I locked eyes with the boss, who had been watching the entire time.
“What’s the matter? Just going to stand there while your lackeys get wiped out?”
“No… I see. These weaklings can’t handle you after all,”
The boss replied, its voice low and calm.
Then, it released a wave of magic energy, as if accepting my challenge.
…Perfect.
The surrounding Kyōjūs stopped moving, forming a ring around us.
It was as though they were spectating, relishing the impending clash. None of them seemed to entertain the idea that their boss could lose.
The boss stood towering above me with an air of confidence. Its massive body was covered in gleaming black scales, harder than steel.
Crown-like horns adorned its head, and a lion’s mane gave it an aura of royalty.
Its jet-black eyes bore into me coldly, brimming with disdain and composure.
“Give up this futile resistance. Surely, you don’t wish to suffer any further.”
The boss’ voice resonated, heavy enough to shake the very air around us.
In response, I tightened my fist.
I squared my stance and stared directly back at it.
The boss smirked faintly and began advancing.
Each step reverberated like an earthquake, heavy and deliberate. I watched closely, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Since this boss didn’t appear in the main game, I had no idea how it moved.
I’d have to figure it out on the fly.
In an instant, I tensed every muscle in my body and launched myself forward.
I aimed a sharp punch at the boss’ abdomen. But—
“…What?!”
The moment my fist connected, it was repelled violently. It felt like hitting an iron wall.
The boss’ scales were unbelievably tough. My attack had absolutely no effect.
“Futile. You’ll never defeat me with such weak efforts,”
The boss declared calmly and raised one of its massive arms.
