I Reincarnated as Just a Mob in an Eroge World, but the Heroines Are Swarming Me - Episode 57
Episode 57
At the same time, I grabbed Seraph’s wrist as her hand reached for my chest.
Moving my body sent a jolt of pain through me. It seemed I hadn’t fully healed yet. But if I showed any signs of pain, they’d probably insist on doting on me even more.
“…Huh?”
Seraph let out a surprised sound, her expression mirroring her confusion. Luminous and Kirisaki also wore similar looks of surprise.
I forced a smile and directed my gaze toward them.
“This is… a hospital, right?”
The moment I spoke, tears welled up in Seraph’s eyes, and she threw herself into my arms.
“…Ugh!”
Her soft embrace was quickly followed by a sharp wave of pain coursing through my body.
And it wasn’t just Seraph. Luminous clung to me as well. And since there was no room left to hug, Kirisaki instead grabbed my hand tightly. Her slightly dissatisfied gaze made her feelings clear, though I couldn’t quite grasp why.
“Takigawa-san…! I’m so glad you’re okay!”
“You’re alive, right!? I’m so sorry… this all happened because of me!”
“…I’m sorry too. It’s my fault you ended up like this… I’m so sorry.”
Overwhelmed by their repeated apologies, I let out a strained laugh.
“No, no, it’s not your fault—any of you.”
They looked like they were carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. So I hurriedly reassured them. It seemed each of them had convinced themselves they were to blame.
I needed to correct this quickly, or else their already overwhelming emotions would spiral out of control.
But my patience reached its limit as I grimaced in pain.
“C-could you step back for a moment…? My body still hurts.”
“S-sorry…!”
“Y-you’re right… Don’t worry, I’ll take care of everything from now on.”
“Me too… If there’s anything you need, just tell me. I’ll dedicate myself to supporting your life.”
“N-no, that’s not necessary!”
I raised my voice to quell their clearly excessive behavior, but their somewhat cloudy smiles didn’t fade.
…Wait, did I pick the wrong route?
Is this really happening? A multi-character yandere route… something even the original game never showed!?
—
Once I’d recovered enough to move, I decided not to stay in the hospital any longer. I hated lingering there.
I left the building and rode back to the inn in Martha-san’s car, gazing out at the streets along the way.
The city of Shizuho, where I had fought, wasn’t as devastated as in the game’s original storyline. But it had still suffered considerable damage.
While I couldn’t save everything, it seemed Kirisaki’s family had made it out safely.
…In hindsight, I interfered with the game’s main plot quite a bit this time.
…I should refrain from doing so in the future. Interacting with characters from the game’s main story is definitely off the table.
“Takigawa, open your mouth.”
“Look, I can feed myself, okay?”
“You can’t. It’ll put stress on your arms.”
Despite my protest, Luminous brought the rice ball Martha-san had prepared to my lips.
When I took a bite, Seraph immediately followed up by offering me a strawed bottle of water.
…….They were managing every single aspect of my life now.
If I tried to decline, they’d lower their gaze with a sad expression.
“…I’m sorry. It’s my fault you’re in this state…”
“…If you let me take care of you, it might just cause even more trouble, right?”
“…Am I bad at taking care of you?”
Hearing things like that, how could I possibly refuse?
To be fair, I was capable of handling daily life tasks at this point. But until I fully recovered, it was probably better to go along with this if it meant easing their hearts.
Not that it felt bad to have characters I loved acting this devoted to me.
“When we get back to the inn, shall we start with a shower?”
“…Yeah, that’s the plan.”
“I’ll wash you, then.”
“Wait—”
“Leave it to me! I’ve even bathed my little brothers before, so I’ve got experience.”
“I’m good at it too.”
“I’ll do my best to help!”
“……….”
…Seriously?
It was a dreamlike scenario. But having three yandere characters simultaneously was a serious problem.
What about the game’s main story!? If the angel and demon the protagonist is supposed to contract with go missing, and Kirisaki, who trains him, also disappears…Then what happens!?
I still have plans to distance myself from the main story and enjoy life as a background character in this world!
So, while I have no intention of doing anything inappropriate here… if I were to actually take a bath with all three of them… I might reach my limit.
Just imagining such a situation leaves me silently grappling with what to do next as I glance out at Shizuho City from the moving car.
…..The city, despite some destruction, is… safe.
Sure, I couldn’t save everyone. But even so, I think I managed to significantly reduce the damage.
From the perspective of enjoying the game’s original storyline, my actions were probably a mistake.
…But oh well.
Even if the events diverge from the original plot… a happy story is better than a sad one, right?
“Takigawa, want some snacks?”
“…Yeah, I’ll have some.”
“Are you thirsty again? Would you prefer me to feed you mouth-to-mouth?”
“No, I’ll drink on my own.”
“…Do you need training?”
“I can’t move yet.”
…For now, I need to seriously think about how to interact with these three going forward.
