I, Who Was Criticized as the World's Weakest S-Rank Explorer, Am Actually the World's Strongest Explorer - Episode 106
Episode 106
(Note: Special for this chapter, dialogues through the telephone are in ‘….’)
The pack of Bl00d Wolves was already in battle mode.
While letting out low growls, they were slowly closing the distance.
“Graaah!”
The moment one of them roared, the others all charged at once.
I immediately fired a magic bullet.
The bullet shot from the Bullet Sword pierced through the one in front. That was the signal for battle to begin.
“Gyaaah!”
In the next moment, I dodged the fangs of another one that leaped at me from the left. And I countered with a kick.
A strike aimed right at the neck. Combined with my body enhancement, there was no way a Bl00d Wolf could withstand it. Its neck twisted with a crunch and sank to the ground.
Then two more came at me from behind. But I turned around without hesitation and slashed them in half with the Bullet Sword.
In less than a few minutes, the entire pack of Bl00d Wolves had stopped moving. …No problem here.
After confirming that there were no other monsters around, I sheathed my Bullet Sword.
‘Amazing… Rin, can you do this too?’
‘…N-No way. Don’t use Haruto as a standard… I’m just a normal S-rank explorer.’
I’m just normal too though…?
‘Being S-rank already means you’re not normal… But anyway, I’m glad there doesn’t seem to be a problem.’
At Kirishima-san’s words, I gave a small smile and replied.
“I’ve fought these guys many times before. Rin, once you get used to it, you’ll be able to do this too.”
‘…Y-You think so?’
“Yeah.”
Actually, even in just these two days, she’s already able to fight Demon-type monsters around the 101st floor with no problem.

‘So in the end, you get stronger by fighting stronger enemies…’
‘That’s the nice thing about explorers, right? It’s like a game, seems fun~’
Yuna said. She sounded a little envious.
After finishing the conversation with the girls on the call, I decided to go further down the layers.
There’s still a long way to the 501st floor.
Let’s keep moving forward quickly.
“Well then, Rin might come here alone later… So I’ll explain the route from here.”
‘Rin, are you going?’
‘…Absolutely not happening alone. No way.’
As I passed through the wasteland of the 301st floor and headed toward the path to the next layer, I started explaining to them over the call.
While walking through the 301st floor, I explained the shortcut route.
“It’s fine. From here… if you follow the normal route, it takes a ridiculous amount of time. But past the hill up ahead, there’s a cave. Inside it, there’s a magic circle. If you use it, you can instantly jump ahead by 20 floors.”
‘…A magic circle? Is it a teleportation trap!?’
It wasn’t Rin who reacted strongly—it was Saotome-san.
“Yeah, that’s right. And it’s reusable too.”
‘What is that magic circle!? If it can be replicated, that’s a revolutionary thing!’
…Ah, so that’s how she sees it.
Normally, dungeon traps disappear after activating once.
I always thought it was just a convenient trap. But maybe… it’s something else.
“Well, there are these kinds of teleportation magic circles here and there… As long as you don’t mess up the route, you can get to the 501st floor pretty quickly.”
As I explained and walked, a hill came into view.
After climbing it and standing at the cave entrance, the air inside was cold and damp.
It was hard to see without a light. So I lit it up with my phone.
Explorer smartphones are mostly made for long-term use. So the flashlight is quite strong.
‘Ugh, it’s dark and creepy… Rin-san?’
‘I-I… I don’t really like dark places…’
‘…Is that so? …Want to play a horror game together sometime?’
‘A-Are you teasing me!?’
Rin looked like she was about to cry. But seeing her like that, Yuna had this oddly sadistic look on her face.
“This is the first shortcut. If you use this magic circle, you can jump ahead 20 floors.”
I stood in the center of the magic circle and poured in my magic.
A bluish-white light filled the room, and I felt my body float.
In the next moment, the scenery changed. And I had arrived at a new floor.
‘…It really moved you in an instant.’
‘Aaaaah! I want to try it! I want to ride it toooo! Kanzaki-kun! Take me with you right now!’
‘…Absolutely not happening.’
Kirishima-san was trying to calm down Saotome-san, who was whining like a spoiled child.
“If you want to use the next shortcut, you’ll need to be a little more careful, Rin.”
‘…Don’t talk like I’m definitely going.’
Come on, it’s fine. If something unexpected happens, Rin might have to conquer this dungeon herself.
I continued explaining about the next teleportation magic circle.
“From here on, the fog gets thicker and there are more monsters. So be careful.”
After finishing the explanation about the shortcut, I exited the cave and continued to the next path.
As I kept giving explanations, I used another teleportation circle and went down some cliffs along the way.
Though compared to the one I first jumped down, these cliffs were much shorter—at most, each shortcut covered about 10 floors.
Going down floor by floor… and finally descending the last staircase—
“…This is the 501st floor.”
I arrived at the 501st floor and made sure to capture it clearly on camera.
