Rin stood before the dungeon. 

She had taken time off from school, submitting a leave request to head toward the dungeon. 

The fear of what might be said about her after refusing a job left her no choice but to take the step forward, even unwillingly. 

Despite lingering fatigue, Rin pressed on toward the dungeon. 

Inside, a dimly lit space stretched out endlessly. The damp air and low growls set Rin’s nerves on edge. 

“…It’s coming.” 

Suddenly, a monstrous creature appeared—an Ogre of the Hell-class. 

Its massive frame loomed as it swung a heavy axe with a dull thud. Rin narrowly dodged and readied her blade. 

This dungeon was of high difficulty, with monsters occasionally appearing that carried five magic stones. 

Even so, Rin was growing daily as an S-Rank Explorer. 

They weren’t opponents she couldn’t defeat. 

“…Haa, haa…” 

If there was one issue, it was the fatigue eating away at her body. 

The exhaustion from consecutive dungeon raids. 

On top of that, lack of sleep had also taken its toll. It was dulling her usual sharp movements. 

The cause of her sleepless nights was the criticism on the internet.

The force of her slash tore through the Hell Ogre, leaving it defeated. 

But she stood there, panting heavily. She leaned her sword for support as she tried to catch her breath.

Muttering her lament, Rin slowly pushed herself upright.
