I had expected it, but I didn’t think I would see such a surprised expression on Yamato-san’s face.

“So it really is strange, huh?”

“I see. By the way, what can an Appraiser do? I was suddenly teleported on the day I was summoned, so I haven’t been told anything.”  

I wanted to change the subject and gather information about Appraisers. But Yamato-san started to think with her hand on her chin.

“…It might be better to have someone else, who’s also an Appraiser, to explain it rather than me.”  

“That would be nice, but won’t my secret get exposed? I’d like to keep being an otherworlder and the ‘(Divine Eye)’ part a secret, if possible.”

Even though Yamato-san could be one of them, I find it hard to believe she would do something like that.

I watched Yamato-san leave and turned my attention to the furnishings in the room.

As I pondered the priorities of knowledge I needed to acquire, I heard a knock, and Yamato-san returned.  

Behind her stood a man with soft features wearing glasses. He had the same vivid blonde hair as Yamato-san and looked to be around my age or slightly older.  

“Nice to meet you. I’m the Appraiser, Glenn Yamato.”  

“I-I’m Mihiro Maki… Wait, Yamato?”  

Same last name, same vivid blonde hair, and now he’s in the same mansion… Yeah, it’s confirmed.  

“Are you siblings?”  

“That’s right!”  

…Yeah, their smiles are eerily similar!  

If they’re siblings, I can trust them without a doubt. And since their ancestor is also an otherworlder, there’s no need to hide that either.  

I started to think about how to handle the topic of the Appraiser (Divine Eye) with Yamato-san….. Eh, they’re both Yamato, so it must be Alicia-san! Just like Alicia-san, I don’t feel any bad vibes from Glenn-san. So I feel like I can share that information.  

“I heard from my sister that you were also teleported to the Forest of Demons, Mahiro-san. I’m really glad you made it this far alive.”
