I thought someone might be coming to clear the dishes. But when I saw who it was, I dropped my spoon.

“…Why is His Majesty here?”

“…It’s not, though.”

Once we finished, we let His Majesty take the seat of honor, even though it was Dietrich-sama’s room, and began our conversation.

Dietrich-sama looked happier than I’d ever seen him, even more than when I explained the habits of Level Slimes.

“Yes. You can acquire it by being alongside someone who’s at least an ‘advanced-class’ Appraiser / Holy Item Appraiser  when they perform 10,000 Appraisals or consume a total of 1,000,000 mana through Appraisals. However, each of those Appraisals must cost at least 50 mana.”

I get it. It sounds crazy. You’d need to spend a minimum of 500,000 mana, and the real burden would fall on the ‘advanced-class’ Appraiser, not Dietrich-sama.

“That’s… quite impossible.”

“Yes, indeed.”

“The mana cost is absurd, and so is the number of Appraisals.”

“Either option is unrealistic.”

“…Wait a moment!”

Huh? What’s going on, Dietrich-sama?

“What is it?”

Even His Majesty seemed surprised.

“If I stick with Mihiro-sama, we could eventually hit the 1,000,000 mana goal!”

Dietrich-sama was so excited that his words were getting a little odd.
