Three days had passed since I first observed the knights’ training.  

Since the meeting, I hadn’t been able to level up due to Viscount Bogle’s influence. So I had been watching the training every day.  

It seems His Highness is leveling up before the war, and Viscount Bogle firmly refused my request to join him.  

I was grateful for the lack of hassle, but it was true that I had become quite bored.  

By the way, does that mean His Highness is also going to Shriden? I think that sounds way too dangerous, but I wonder how that will turn out.

While I was thinking about these things, Yuria was training with the captains and the knight commander at the training ground.

As Yuria walked over, wiping her sweat, she spoke those words.

Dietrich-sama continued explaining, but Yuria wore a serious expression beside me.  

That makes sense; Yuria still hasn’t received permission from the knight commander to accompany us.  

If we have to depart immediately, Yuria would be left behind, and I would be heading to the Shriden Kingdom alone with the knights.  

…Yeah, I want Yuria to come with me, if only for my own peace of mind.  

As for Madoka… well, I’ll have to check when I get back to Granzawall, but I think it’ll be difficult. So at least I want Yuria to come along.

…Could it be Kouya or Arata? If we’re heading into a war, I hope it’s Kouya. If Arata stays at the capital, the chances of him being helped would increase.

“Seeing this as a prime opportunity, we have decided to depart immediately! Knight Commander, hurry and select your men!”  

“Yes!”  

“Knights, prepare quickly!”  

“”””Yeas, sir!””””  

“Finish your preparations within an hour! Disperse!”  

Once His Majesty’s words ended, the knights sprang into action.  

We, standing by the wall, were left in a daze about what to do when Dietrich-sama rushed over to us.  

“Mihiro-sama and company, over here, please!”  

“Wait a minute, Dietrich-sama! I haven’t received permission from the Knight Commander yet!”  

Yuria raised her voice in response to Dietrich-sama’s call. But he smiled gently and began to speak.  

“Don’t worry. Kondō-sama has already been given permission.”  

“…Huh?”  

“Last night, I received permission from Knight Commander Vigul to have you accompany us. Therefore, we would greatly appreciate your assistance.”  

It seems it was just in the nick of time. But for Yuria, this must have been the most welcome news.  

For just a moment, she froze. But then she gathered herself and smiled brightly.  

“…Yes!”  

Thus, we started walking with Dietrich-sama.
