After hearing the story, it seems my existence has turned into quite a big deal. When it was decided that Leyreina-san would head to Granzawall as a representative of the Maguire family, she wasn’t just informed by her father, the head of the house. Instead, she was summoned to the castle, where the king himself explained my existence to her. 

When her father asked what was said, she couldn’t reveal anything. She had been ordered not to divulge the information to anyone, not even her family. As a result, her departure from her home was akin to being chased out in the end.

“Well, that led to me being kicked out of my house in the end.”

“I’m really sorry about that.”

“No, no! This is not something for you, Maki-sama, to apologize for! This is the Maguire family’s matter!”

That may be true. But considering that my presence indirectly worsened her family’s relationships, I couldn’t help but feel guilty.

“… Alright! Then I’ll do my best here to raise Leyreina-san’s standing!”

Honestly, I’d love to leave Granzawall and gain some freedom, but I can’t level up. And I’m not strong enough to take on the surrounding monsters by myself. So, it’s not something I can do right away. Plus, I can’t just leave behind Madoka and the others. So I guess I have no choice.

If Leyreina-san’s reputation rises here, she might get summoned back to the royal capital by the king. Hopefully, she’ll become prominent enough to push back against her mistreatment by her family. 

Why? Well, I have a soft spot for people like Leyreina-san since I’ve experienced being cast out myself. I want her to succeed.

“So, what exactly should I be doing here? I understand I’m supposed to assist with the development of the Forest of Demons, but what are the specific tasks?”

“You’ll mostly be following Maki-san’s instructions and helping with the forest’s development. As for the magic circle analysis… what should we do about that?”

Huh? Why are you looking at me, Alicia?

“Could we start by analyzing the magic circle?”

“…Madoka?”

It was Madoka who spoke up.

“I’m one of the people who were summoned to Shriden, my name is Yachiyo Madoka.”

“Madoka-sama, is it? …Could it be that you’re from the other world, like Maki-sama?”

“That’s right. I want to save my classmates.”

“Hey, Madoka, we’ve already talked about how complicated that would be, remember?”

“I know that, Maki-kun. But I have to at least express my wishes. If we don’t tell anyone, the king will never know.”

That… makes sense. Madoka is right to feel the need to speak out. The king holds all the decision-making power. And if he doesn’t know our desires, we’ll just be left waiting forever for help to arrive. 

…But even if Leyreina-san conveys this to the king, who knows when it will actually reach him?

“Yes. Like Maki-kun, I also have a special class, as does Yuria.”

“…What?”

“Ah, right. Alicia went to the capital before we were exiled.”

“Is it?”

“Of course! Special classes are incredibly rare, even in the largest nations, where they may only have two or three at most. And now Granzawall has multiple?”

Upon hearing Madoka’s confession, Leyreina-san put her hands to her head in disbelief. 

I didn’t quite understand what the problem was, so I looked toward Alicia for clarification.

“In the past, there was a small nation where a rare number of special classes emerged at once. That country attempted to conquer the world by starting a war. Leyreina-sama is likely worried about the implications of having so many special classes gathered in Granzawall.”

“If this information reaches other countries, it could be disastrous! I need to inform His Majesty right away!”

“In that case, you should also mention the magic circle analysis!”

“W-wait a minute! Things are getting way too complicated!”

With both Leyreina-san and Madoka raising their voices, it was turning into information overload.

“So, to summarize Leyreina-san’s point: having multiple special classes gathered together… raises suspicions of rebellion?”

“Th-That’s exactly it! Granzawall may be part of the Adelreed Kingdom. But since it’s on the frontier, people might suspect that it’s secretly amassing military power!”

“I see, I see. So, Madoka, you want Leyreina-san to inform the king that there are three special-class people gathered here. And while she’s at it, to request that the analysis of the magic circle be prioritized to help save our classmates?”

“Exactly!”

“Oh, I don’t think there’s any problem with that.”

““…..Eh??”“ 

While I was trying to summarize the situation, Leyreina-san suddenly responded in a calm manner. It was quite different from her earlier panic.

“His Majesty is already aware of Shriden’s actions. It seems he’s been gathering information.”

“R-really?!”

“And if it turns out that improving the teleportation magic circle will allow us to reach Shriden, His Majesty is considering sending troops to strike their core.”

“……..W-WHAAAAAAaaaaaaaatt–?!”
