I'm not in the villain's ending - 2
EPISODE 2
“… Snowy.”
“Snowy?”
“Yes.”
The name Snowy is never mentioned in The Family of the Four Seasons. In other words, this boy, Snowy, is an extra like me.
‘But.’
My gaze drifted to the wrist that had been caught by Snowy. He was caught briefly, but he had red marks on his wrists that looked like shackles.
“Next question. Are you going to kill me?”
He sighed and stared straight at Snowy, his brow furrowed. But this question is of paramount importance.
“Kill?”
“Did you have a question? Then I’ll ask you another question. What is your purpose here?”
The reason I wanted to escape the glass prison was because I didn’t want to die, that is, I didn’t want to die without knowing the cause. I can’t think of anything else, and I’m so desperate for escape.
In other words, as long as your life is guaranteed, it doesn’t matter what happens.
“What’s that now….”
Kung!
I think Snowy added an afterword, but I couldn’t hear it because of the loudness.
“Excuse me, miss? I have heard of an intruder and have come to pick me up!”
Then a man’s voice rang out from the door of the glass prison. Behind the uniformed man, several knights waited.
‘Did he lock the door when he came in?’
As he turns to Snowy and thinks about it, a bang on the door gets louder and louder. In the end, several knights were seen trying to break the walls of the glass prison.
“Answer me right away. I asked him if he was going to kill me.”
The last words of kindness, respect, were obscured by anxious feelings. The voice sounded impatient even to me as a person.
The noise made by the knights who kept interrupting the conversation made me feel even more nervous.
“I think it’s going to break soon.”
Passasak. I turned my head toward it at the clear, eardrum-piercing sound. It was the sound of a crack in a glass wall.
It’s only a matter of time before the knights who smash the cracked glass walls mercilessly come inside.
Snowy turned his head to the glass wall. There was a loud noise from the nod, not nervousness, and I felt a deep feeling that was nothing more than a glimpse in that direction.
“I swear.”
He put his fist on his chest. In contrast to the imminent situation, the series of gestures was graceful, like a swan gliding on a lake.
“It doesn’t kill you.”
The oath was simple, but sacred and serious, like a messenger called from the gods.
If you are a devout believer, you can say that an angel has descended and you can kneel down and bow with your head touching the ground.
“Prove it.”
But I am not a devout believer. No matter how holy it was, there was nothing more surprising than the fact that it was possessed. I don’t know if Snowy is the main character in the book.
The primary goal is to avoid a predetermined death, and ultimately to live a comfortable life where life is not threatened.
“Proof of it.”
There was a chill in Snowy’s question.
When you take a step, you feel like you’re in the middle of a thin lake of ice carved into cracks. He opened his mouth, swallowing the tension in the precariously flowing air.
“Prove it. The oath you sweared.”
If you are frightened in front of the strong, you will look down on them, so you have to act nonchalant, acting with a calm face and a nonchalant voice.
“Who knows, maybe that oath is nonsense? It’s a rotten lie.”
“…….”
“My life depends on it.”
What kind of emotions do the veiled eyes contain, and what decisions do they make?
I stared at his face, unable to read his thoughts, and tapped his thighs with my fingers.
‘Hold out a contract somewhere.’
Snowy’s head falls into Bolotai near his head.
In the middle of the bollotai was a clear light blue gemstone.
“So what’s the answer?”
It was a prompting of a question.
He bit his lip once, which looked like blood had pooled in one place under the veil. I furrowed my eyebrows, feeling like I had seen something I shouldn’t.
Click.
Suddenly, Snowy pulled something out of his arms. What came out of his bosom was a collar with a red ruby in the middle.
“Put this around my neck.”
It was a misconception for anyone who heard it. There’s nothing more dangerous than being told to stick a leash around my throat.
If I hadn’t heard it before, I would have had a strange imagination, but luckily I know this leash well.
“Are you serious?”
“It doesn’t matter.”
When asked again, he replied in a calm voice. I’m more confused.
‘You want to prove it like this?’
Over the past three months, I have faced numerous kidnappers. Most of the time, I was caught without even being able to approach me thanks to the tight security of the glass prison, but occasionally the collar was put around the neck of the kidnappers who had penetrated the cage.
Some of the leashers were trembling and scared, and most of the unaware tried to unleash them.
‘I was decapitated.’
I wondered why the boy was in possession of such a dangerous object. But he had no intention of refusing.
My nose is stone, so who cares about whom? Without hesitation, I was handed the leash.
“You put a leash around my neck, and you said….”
“I know.”
Thatch. The knights were still knocking on the door, and the glass wall looked like it was about to break.
The urgency of the situation was so urgent that he did not hesitate to put his hand on Snowy’s neck. His shoulders shrunk.
“Stay still.”
After a somewhat sarcastic warning, given the situation, Snowy stopped acting. I quickly put a leash on my white neck and recited the conditions.
“Snowy, you will protect my life until I escape, no matter what.”
As he recites the conditions, the ruby in the center of the collar flashes up. As the intense light splashes in all directions, all the knights who have been pounding on the glass wall stop working.
After a while, the light faded to faint, but still covered the ruby.
“… The conditions have been reflected.”
A smile draws from the corners of Snowy’s mouth as he quietly speaks.
“It’s the perfect deal for kidnapping.”
“The perfect deal?”
“That’s right.”
“Then may I contact you now?”
Snowy was still on his knees, but he felt the cool scent approaching.
The scent that I had forgotten for a while tickles the tip of my nose.
“You’ve been restrained.”
Snowy tapped his finger at my neck.
As if to tell me not to forget this that you filled.
“Let me reach you.”
A voice that flowed into my ears like a gentle wave on a fine sandy beach. I involuntarily took a deep breath.
The subject, which is intentionally omitted, evokes a lot of imagination. But “let me touch you” would mean “I’m going to put my hand on you to escape, so don’t think about pushing me any further.”
‘Good idea. Good kids.’
I sighed, as if to shake off the thought that was popping into my head.
“If anyone hears it, I’m going to misunderstand it….”
Wow!
Eventually, unable to withstand the knights’ blows, the glass wall shattered into pieces and left a hole in it. The knights, who had been waiting for me, called to me.
“Miss!”
Snowy only tilted his head as if he was unimpressed by all of this.
“Is it okay if I touch you?”
I stuck my tongue out at the slightly annoyingly insistent question. But there was nothing he could do but nod.
“Okay. I won’t refuse you if you touch me, so let’s go!”
When I gave my permission, Snowy, who had just been stuck, jumped to his feet. The distance between me and him gets closer at once.
“Sure.”
Thin. For a moment, the cool scent carried by the wind reaches the tip of your nose. The body flashes with a fleeting sense of floating.
I almost chewed my tongue.
“The intruder escapes with the young lady in his arms! Block the doorway now!”
At the shout of the knight, who appeared to be the leader, the knights quickly rushed to the doorway to block it. I don’t see the slightest gap.
“What can I do?”
“…….”
“At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before I get caught, right?”
Despite the urgent questioning, Snowy seemed calm and unmoved.
In addition to the opponent’s nonchalance, the impatience is amplified when the sound of the knight’s metal with the weapon pierces his eardrums.
“Hey. We’re in a very dangerous situation right now, you know?”
I grabbed him by the shoulder collar and shook him well.
The action was an unintentional tremor, born of sheer impatience and fear.
“Do you want to say something? I’m very anxious right now.”
“…….”
“Well, if you have an idea, answer it!”
Quadadadang. The sound of a knight flying at us echoes through the glass prison. It was Snowy’s fault for ducking down and lightly dodging the knight who rushed at him.
“You said it was life-threatening.”
“…….”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
Snowy’s words came out of nowhere.
I’m so embarrassed that this time I’m speechless.
“So that I have no regrets about your consent.”
Immediately after saying that, holding me firmly in his arms, Snowy rushed towards the doorway blocked by the knights.
“Don’t miss it!”
At the shout of the chief knight, the knights tightened the doorway even further. I felt like I didn’t have time to dig in, but his hopping shows no signs of stopping.
The problem is that Snowy is facing the knight with the spear.
“Watch out, you guys!”
The knight holding the spear was also confused, and without dodging, he aimed the tip of the spear at us.
I was about to be stabbed by a spear.
“Don’t hurt her!”
The Boss Knight knocks over the knight holding the spear. This created a gap in the doorway.
Physic. In a split second, I saw Snowy’s smile. That smile that quickly disappeared.
“Miss!”
Slipping through the gap, Snowy ran without stopping, leaving behind the screams of the knights.
Finally, Snowy runs down the hallway and reaches the open window.
‘Huh?’
It crashed as it was.
“You crazy.”
His heart skipped a beat with fear at the gravity-defying speed. Because of this, half of the horse’s jaw is blown away by the wind.
My first thought was, “Was I trapped in such a high place? Was. His eyes began to spin around as he neared death’s door.
‘You must be crazy. It’s insane.’
Which madman jumps off a high floor to escape?
Before he had time to collect himself, he unconsciously wrapped his arms around Snowy’s neck. It was done without any selflessness and solely out of survival instinct.
“You don’t have to be afraid.”
The sound of an emotionless toy winding would sound sweeter than this. I was stunned by the dry voice that had no sweet taste, and I gasped.
Still, we were falling from great heights, and his words, dispersed by the wind, were not credible.
I glanced down. Before I knew it, I was getting closer to the floor.
“I swore an oath.”
“…….”
“I won’t kill you. What’s this leash!”
I stared at him, his eyes tightened with fear. Beneath the veil that covered his eyes, his eye muscles seemed to move slightly.
“I swear.”
