I'm not in the villain's ending - 8
“That’s sorry!”
Unlike me, who quickly pulled away his hand in surprise, he doesn’t seem to care.
‘Damn it.’
I feel embarrassed because I feel like I’m the only one making a fuss.
It’s all because Snowy creates a strange atmosphere. He clenched his fists, erasing the sharp muscle sensation that had remained in his fingertips.
‘Calm down, calm down, calm down.’
With those words etched in his mind, he looked Snowy straight in the face.
He took a deep breath and spoke slowly.
“You want to protect me?”
“Yes.”
I closed my eyes gently as the answer flowed out without a second thought.
“That’s good. Do as you please.”
It was a petty sympathy born of petty concern that I offered him a break, and if he refused, there was no need to encourage him further.
“I assure you, you said you were going to protect me, didn’t you? That’s why I don’t sleep.”
“Yes.”
“Then when someone asks me, I always say yes. It’s not me, it’s yours.”
Unlike yesterday, when I fell asleep without a blanket, I pulled the blanket up to my neck and showed my face.
The unusually bright moon revealed Snowy’s expression, and it was immediately clear that he was staring at him with an unchanged face.
“It’s frustrating. It’s mistaken that we’re lovers, but when I hear a sensitive woman who doesn’t sleep.”
“…….”
“Just kidding.”
He stared at the ceiling, his brow distorted like a crumpled piece of cloth. I can’t help but sigh.
“… And my name is Sen.”
He couldn’t see Snowy’s face because he was looking at the ceiling, but his face was clear.
Wouldn’t it be even more furrowing his brows to suddenly say something?
“You keep getting butterflies, butterflies, but honestly, I can’t even touch them, and most of all, I feel like my limbs are shriveled….”
He smiled mischievously and turned his head. The forehead of the face was neither wrinkled nor distorted.
Snowy’s face was surprisingly calm, like a lake deep in the mountains.
“Sen.”
Snowy’s words echo quietly in a small room filled with moonlight.
“That’s what I’m going to call you from now on.”
I stared intently into Snowy’s face.
The questions that sprout by sprinkling the water of strangeness on the mind that used to be like dry land reveal their own existence.
The questions that grew up turned into doubts, and other curiosities blossomed.
‘Can someone so eccentric be an extra?’
―It was. I didn’t know at the time why I had such a sudden question.
***
The dawn of the same day, when the blue moonlight still pours into the room.
His eyes widened to the precarious moan that broke the silence.
“Ugh, ugh.”
I turned my head to follow the sound and saw Snowy sitting in a chair. He fell asleep in his chair, sweating profusely in an uncomfortable position.
“Snowy, are you okay?”
I don’t know if I had a nightmare, but no matter how much I called, he couldn’t hear me. I try to get Snowy to wake up.
―Don’t wake me up.
Ahri stood in my way. I blinked and looked down at Ahri.
“Don’t wake me. And seeing the state of affairs?”
―If you wake me up, I’ll regret it.
At first glance, Snowy looked serious, but Ahri didn’t blink. Instead, he pushed my legs back, his tail up.
― Trouble could happen, so get out of here.
“What’s the matter, waking up doesn’t kill you.”
―You may die.
Ahri’s answer was more serious than she expected.
I roll my gaze for a moment, then I stare at Snowy, who grunts as if drawn to by a magnet.
“To die….”
Before he knew it, his sweat-soaked shirt clung to Snowy’s body, revealing his outline.
When I see it, I try to vividly remember the feeling of touch on my fingertips. Sturdy and a little fluffy….
‘Good thoughts, good thoughts, good thoughts!’
He jerked his head and blew the sinister thought away. For a moment, I thought I should cover it with a blanket.
“You don’t just need to be grabbed by Snowy as soon as he wakes up, right?”
―What are you trying to do?
I soaked my hands in the face wash water and soaked them thoroughly. Drops of water drip from his fingers.
‘Do you wear a veil when you sleep?’
Immediately, he approached the grunting Snowy. Up closer, he saw that the veil that had covered his eyes the whole time had been slightly lowered.
“Excuse me for a moment.”
He clenched his fist and spread his hand, and the water droplets that clung to his fingertips flew toward Snowy’s face.
Drops of cold water dripped onto his white face.
―Hiik! What are you doing, do you really want to die? I definitely want to die!
“Hold still.”
He looked down at Snowy, who was still in a nightmare, and tapped his lower jaw.
“I’m not getting up.”
―Be grateful it didn’t happen! Get out of here!
He pretended not to hear Ahri’s squawk, taking a step back and staring at Bolotai, dishevelled on Snowy’s chest.
“I don’t know if it applies to sleeping.”
I open my mouth with half doubt, half thought that I should do it.
“Stay still.”
As if in response to my words, jewels, or rather, candy, erupted, and a flood of light enveloped Snowy’s body.
Snowy’s movements subsided, as if bound by an invisible rope. Of course, it’s one thing to still suffer.
“It applies to sleeping. It might be quite useful.”
The memory of being completely pressed down by Snowy in the carriage was an experience when I was thinking about whether I should tie it up like this every time before approaching him.
―Run now!
I felt a scratching sensation on my calf, and when I looked down, I saw Ahri raising her claws and scratching her legs.
“Ouch.”
Despite my unflattering cries of pain, Ahri scratched my leg and even bit me.
“Why are you so excited about it all by yourself?”
―I don’t want to see blood here!
Tossing and turning. Snowy tossed and turned in his sleep, and Ahri scurried out the door, white and tired.
―I don’t know anymore!
Leaving me with a squirm and a slap in the face, Ari left. Snowy is still grunting.
“Snowy, get up.”
Naturally, Snowy didn’t hear the words.
I was wondering how I could wake him up. Suddenly, he had something to say to wake him up.
“Hurry up. The moon is up to my head.”
I don’t know why that came to mind. I just thought about it, so I brought it up.
“Uh, did you wake up?”
Like a lie, Snowy’s seizures subsided, and he soon stabilized.
Through the veil that flowed slightly, the eyes gently opened, revealing a plain black eye. And.
“…….”
Tuduk. As I watched it fall, I was taken aback.
“Snowy. Are you crying?”
The transparent tears that slid down her white cheeks were unmistakable.
“Oh.”
When I met her eyes, which had been hidden all along, I couldn’t help but burst into tears.
Her long eyelashes are wet and squishy, and her black eyes shimmer underneath. A strange sensation that I have never felt before flashes through my heart and pokes at the edge of my heart.
‘Am I mistaken?’
Either way, I approached Snowy ahead of my emotions. It was out of compassion for the perilous child at the well, without any emotion.
“Snowy, you’re fine….”
His outstretched hand is thrown into the air.
He stared at his dripping hands, rolling his eyes and staring at Snowy.
Facing him, Snowy was squirming like a frightened child.
“Why….”
His shoulders tremble as if he sees a ghost, and then he turns over as if trying to escape.
But the candy, already responding to my voice, bound Snowy tightly, and his seizure was futile.
“Calm down. I can’t seem to move anything. It’s doing a great job of what I’m saying.”
My voice sounded calm, but my head wasn’t relaxed at all. I still don’t understand the situation, it’s complicated, and I’m confused.
“… Did you see it?”
A whisper-like voice. It was a voice so small that you couldn’t hear it unless you were paying attention.
“Forget it.”
When I can’t lift the veil with my hands, I lean my head against my shoulder to cover my eyes.
Sarrr. Deliberately, her moonlit wheat hair cleverly covered Snowy’s eyes.
“Whatever you see, you don’t see anything.”
When I didn’t answer, Snowy spoke in a threatening tone. It was like the low cry of a raw beast stumbled upon in an uninhabited forest.
It’s as if a precarious creepiness is creeping down my spine as if it could bite me by the back of my neck at any moment.
“Okay. I’ll forget it if you want.”
But on the other hand, I felt strangely relaxed.
“I didn’t see anything.”
He raised the white flag nonchalantly, like an unambitious monarch.
Maybe the trivial declaration of defeat made me feel at ease. The comfort you get because you don’t have anything to fight for.
Measuring the distance, he took a step forward. Even if the bonds are loosened right away, they will not be able to reach them.
“By the way. I’m the one who’s been threatened, so why are you scared?”
A boy was frightened. In contrast to the threats that are spoken with words such as sharp edges, he is timid and recoiling.
Looking at Snowy like that, he couldn’t tell who was threatening him.
“What if you can see the eyes? Are you afraid that your face will be known to me?”
“…….”
He expected it, but Snowy didn’t answer.
In the flowing silence, I opened my mouth, not waiting for his answer.
“If that’s the case, don’t worry. I’m confident in my ability to forget memories.”
It’s not just a sound. I was confident in quickly forgetting what I wanted to forget.
If it’s an advantage, it’s so fast that it can be called an advantage.
“Can I put my eye patch back on?”
“Glue from this.”
“That’s not good.”
Suddenly, he interrupted Snowy.
“How do I know when you’re going to shut my mouth again. Just as you told me a false name.”
“…….”
Looking at Snowy as he furrows his brows, I smile softly.
“Snowy, that’s not your real name, is it?”
