“Yeah. When I came here before, it was mostly common monsters like goblins and slimes.”

The early levels are higher than they were last time. Whether the lower levels will continue to get stronger or not remains to be seen.

I use Magic Pressure to make the monsters on this floor fall unconscious all at once.

“I was wondering how you did it without any weapons, but was it like this in the previous dungeon too?”

“Yeah. I just used magic to harden and crush the unconscious monsters. You should try it too, Ichika-chan.”

Ichika-chan cautiously applies a chunk of magic to the three monsters in front of her. Ichika-chan’s magical power is just under 50,000, considering the “brutal power” stat.

When I first explored the dungeon, my magical power was close to a million, so I could crush an entire floor. But with 50,000, she could crush anything within a 20-meter radius.

The exact radius could be smaller depending on how well her magic hardens.

Still, she seemed to have no trouble crushing the three monsters.

Stats increase by about 25 with each level, but thanks to the enhancement and the “brutal power” influence, they’ve become quite remarkable.

Still, at level 11, her stats are about the same as mine were when I was level 1.

The expectation for skill level-ups from dungeon rewards is rising.

Our dungeon exploration progresses smoothly.

I use Magic Pressure to knock out the monsters, and Ichika-chan, with her growing magical power, crushes them with increasingly stronger and larger masses of magic.

Once, she asked me not to knock them out, but when I did nothing, the monsters tried to flee. Since then, I’ve knocked them all out.

Wraiths, zombies, and Death Priests alike. Undead monsters in general have high magic power and usually have resistances.

However, my magical power surpassed 25 billion by last year.

Now, since I’m in a party with Ichika-chan, and perhaps because I’m knocking the monsters out, my level is slowly rising.

Additionally, I’ve been training since then, so my magical power has grown.

Even with their resistances, it’s easy to knock out monsters by overwhelming them with numbers. For undead, whose strength is lower, I used Strength Pressure to knock them out.

For the ones that didn’t fall unconscious, I took care of them myself.

By the time we reach the 15th floor, the enemy levels are approaching 40. But still, I knock them out, and Ichika-chan crushes them with magic. We repeat this process as we walk, until we arrive at a door marked with an image of a robed old man—one I’m not sure if I’ve seen before.

“Yasu-kun, is this the boss room?”

“Probably.”

I open the boss room door with the same nervousness as when visiting a new ramen shop for the first time.

The vampire was level 60 and had high overall abilities.

His level wasn’t much different from mine, and based on the enhancement skill levels, it seemed like his base stats were generally higher than mine, which had been significantly boosted through rewards.

As expected from a vampire, his base stats were likely stronger than mine, as a human…

However, while his base stats were high, his enhancement skill levels were low. If we’re talking numbers, all of them wouldn’t even reach 1% of mine.

The difference in stats was such that I could probably obliterate him with just a single breath.

I recalled the time I fought the Chimera. Back then, if I let it escape the labyrinth, Japan would suffer great damage. So, driven by a sense of duty, I had to stop it.

Even now, it’s clear that letting this vampire out would be dangerous, but compared to that time, the gap between our stats is astounding.

With such a difference, it would be easy to knock him out with just the tip of my pinky.

However, the main goal this time was still to strengthen Ichika-chan.

That said, the vampire’s stats were far too high for Ichika-chan to handle on her own. That means it’s dangerous. After some thought, I manipulated my magic and restrained the vampire’s entire body.

“Ichika-chan!”

Ichika-chan manipulated her magic and formed it into something resembling a spear, poking at the vampire repeatedly. The vampire groaned, but it couldn’t move at all.

When I appraised the vampire, I saw that its health was steadily decreasing.

“Hey, hey. I know this might sound weird, but I’m starting to feel guilty for continuing to stab a defenseless opponent.”

Ichika-chan said with a slightly pained expression, so I decided it was probably time to finish it off and squeezed the vampire with my magic.

“Just one more stab, please!”

“Y-yes, I understand!!”

With the magic pressure I applied, the vampire’s health was reduced to 100, and with Ichika-chan’s final stab, it was finished off.

Even if the rewards were only given to the person who delivered the finishing blow, it would surely go to Ichika-chan.

While I was thinking this, I suddenly heard a voice inside my head, one that sounded like a mechanical announcement.

“The vampire’s defeat has been confirmed. The dungeon has been cleared. All monsters within the dungeon have been defeated. The defeat of all monsters and the boss by magic has been confirmed.”

“As a reward, all challengers will have their stats increased by +1500. Additionally, the title ‘Magic Overwhelm’ has been earned.”

…Well, undead monsters had magic resistance, after all.
