Intoxicated by Her Pheromones - Chapter 3
“You said I shouldn’t like you.”
Su Shu paused before speaking, her tone perfectly natural.
But to the alpha’s ears, it carried a hint of grievance. The alpha, who had been in a slightly sour mood, was instantly pleased by the omega’s humble affection.
Song Qing’s lips curled into a smirk, her eyes glinting with lazy amusement as she teased the person in her arms.
“Oh? Is that so… Then I suppose I should praise you for it. After all, you really shouldn’t like me—it would be troublesome for me if you did.” Song Qing chuckled lightly, then paused, her gaze sharp and alluring like a fox spirit luring its prey into a trap. Her words were both a poisonous temptation and a coveted antidote: “But right here, right now, I’ll allow you to like me.”
“Mmm…”
Su Shu nodded, as if taking the words to heart, gradually relaxing in Song Qing’s presence.
“I know. I’ll do as you say.”
“Good.” Song Qing replied with aristocratic indifference, though a shadow flickered in her eyes as she studied Su Shu.
“Really? You’ll do whatever I say?”
“Yes, I will.” Su Shu didn’t understand the intent behind the question but answered truthfully, nonetheless.
Unbeknownst to her, Song Qing had already set a trap, waiting for her to step right into it.
“Then why didn’t you listen to me last night when I told you to—”
Song Qing leaned in close, her breath brushing against Su Shu’s ear as she spoke in a suggestive murmur. She flicked on the light, propping her head up with one hand as she lounged on the sofa, watching the omega’s usually indifferent face flush faintly pink at her words.
Her smirk deepened, her gaze growing increasingly bold.
“What? Are you getting shy now?”
“No.” Su Shu replied coolly, avoiding Song Qing’s eyes—though the bright red tips of her ears under the light betrayed her.
“Oh? Is that really true?” Song Qing’s eyes gleamed with mischief as she smiled like a wicked enchantress. In the next second, she gripped Su Shu’s chin with domineering pressure, sitting up to press closer until their faces were mere inches apart.
The omega instinctively tried to pull away, but Song Qing tightened her grip, refusing to let her escape.
“Then why are you trying to hide? If you’re not shy?”
“I wasn’t trying to hide… I’m just not used to this.” Su Shu stubbornly insisted, avoiding Song Qing’s gaze and clenching her fists to maintain her composure.
But to Song Qing, her act was as transparent as a child’s game—naive and clumsy.
“Is that so?” Song Qing smiled, deceptively innocent.
Su Shu nodded, only to feel herself abruptly pulled onto the alpha’s lap the next moment.
“If you’re not shy, then let me smell your pheromones. I love that scent.”
“Alright.”
Su Shu complied, releasing her pheromones as instructed.
But the alpha remained unsatisfied. Instead, she pulled the omega fully into her embrace, cradling her like a child as she inhaled deeply, her expression that of an addict indulging in a long-awaited fix.
“Ah, as expected… your scent really is the best.”
Alpha enjoyed the scent of the person in their arms, murmuring with intoxicated eyes.
“So sweet, like watermelon. Makes me want to take a bite.”
Song Qing spoke these words while actually sticking out their tongue to give a lick.
Su Shu froze. After a moment of shock, her face flushed crimson as she covered the back of her neck like a startled rabbit, her eyes filled with alarm as she stared at the person before her. Yet she still struggled to maintain her usual expressionless face.
“You… how could…”
“Hmm? What did I do?” Seeing her reaction, Song Qing found it utterly amusing and flashed a genuinely delighted smile. Yet they feigned innocence, looking at Su Shu as if they truly didn’t know what they had done wrong.
Their gaze was sincere, but the words that followed were shocking.
“I just thought you smelled nice and wanted to taste you. Is that not allowed?”
Song Qing spoke with unshakable confidence, gripping Su Shu’s hand and staring into her eyes.
Su Shu was at a loss for words, hesitating as she looked at Song Qing.
Though her face remained blank, Song Qing could tell she was flustered—like a kitten on the verge of puffing up in defense.
So, they reached out with slightly cold fingers to pinch the back of Su Shu’s neck.
Sure enough, the next second, Su Shu shuddered violently.
Her bright eyes widened in disbelief.
Adorable.
Song Qing chuckled, then, as if they had discovered a new toy, began teasing Su Shu mercilessly.
The poor omega, bound by financial constraints, had no choice but to endure Song Qing’s torment.
“Can we… not do it today?” Su Shu whispered.
Song Qing raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“Why?”
“Nothing… I’m just a little tired.” The omega lowered her head stiffly, revealing the gland on her neck, covered in bite marks. To an outsider, it might have looked like she had endured torture.
Song Qing listened silently, their gaze turning cold as they stared at the omega.
After a moment, they twirled a strand of Su Shu’s hair around their finger and spoke mockingly.
“Not do it? Do you think you have a choice? Our contract isn’t over yet. Didn’t Ye Zi make it clear when she signed the deal with you? You’re supposed to stay with me for a week. It’s only the fourth day—have you already forgotten your place?”
“But we’ve already done it for three days…”
“So what? I paid for you. Now that you’ve got the money, are you trying to back out? Or are you trying to raise the price?”
“No, I’m not.”
“Then what are you doing? Playing hard to get?” Song Qing sneered, their gaze growing increasingly derisive. “If you’re going to act coy with me, at least remember your place. Do you even know who I am? Who you are? And yet you dare put on airs in front of me.”
“Don’t forget—I’m Song Qing. With my status, if I wanted an omega, plenty would be willing to crawl into my bed. So don’t push your luck. The fact that I’ve chosen you is already a favor. Don’t make me unhappy, or you’ll get nothing—and worse, your fate will be miserable.”
Alpha said coldly, gripping Omega’s hand with such force that Omega’s face twisted in pain.
But the restrained Omega dared not resist.
So, she could only obediently listen to Alpha’s words, shamefully stripping off her clothes.
“I understand…”
She answered meekly, her face so pale it seemed she might faint at any moment.
Alpha watched with a cold gaze, her eyes lingering on Omega’s perfect figure, the restlessness she had barely managed to suppress flaring up once more.
Yet, for some reason, she had no desire to act on it.
Logically, this should have been the outcome she wanted. But now, inexplicably, she felt no joy at all. On the contrary, looking at Su Shu like this, an unknown fire burned in her chest, so intense it made her unbearably irritable.
“Is this your attitude? Anyone would think I forced you,” Song Qing said with displeasure.
“No, you didn’t force me. I did this willingly,” Su Shu replied woodenly, her eyes devoid of any emotion, like stagnant water without a ripple.
“Willingly… Hah. Whatever. I, Song Qing, can have any Omega I want. Why waste my breath on someone like you? If you’re unwilling, there are plenty who are. From now on, you can fend for yourself.” With those icy words, Song Qing flung Omega’s hand away, grabbed a coat, and turned to leave without another glance.
Su Shu stood where she was, watching Song Qing’s retreating figure without chasing after her. Her gaze lingered on her back—anyone would assume she was hurt by Alpha’s reaction. But that wasn’t the case.
A strange smile curled at the corners of her lips. Only after confirming that Song Qing had truly disappeared did Su Shu slowly flex her wrist, still aching from Alpha’s grip.
Then, her expression shifted, reverting to its usual gloom. Gone was the facade of the unyielding, untouchable flower she had worn in front of Song Qing. Now, she seemed like a vengeful ghost crawling out of hell, exuding an aura so chilling no one would dare approach.
She was a completely different person from before.
Anyone would think she had a split personality.
But in truth, it was all just an act—a carefully crafted disguise to win Song Qing over.
Her smile widened, a faint flush creeping onto Su Shu’s cheeks as she recalled the expressions Song Qing had made during their intimate moments these past days, the undisguised obsession with her pheromones.
But this alone wasn’t enough.
What she wanted was all of Song Qing’s love.
So, this was only the beginning.
Still, she had to admit, the start had gone smoothly.
Everything was under her control.
Calmly dressing herself, Su Shu picked up the phone and dialed.
“Hello, it’s me.”
“Yes! What are your orders, Boss?”
“Proceed to the next step. The fish has taken the bait.”
Su Shu issued her command, her eyes alight with anticipation for what was to come.
“The game should officially begin now. Otherwise, the fish might lose patience—and that would make it harder to control later.”
“Understood! I’ll get right on it, Boss!”
Once the other person finished speaking, Su Shu hung up and tossed the phone onto the bed.
Then, as if suddenly remembering something, his gaze fell upon the bed where he had once rolled around with Song Qing.
His eyes instantly turned wild with madness.
“Hmm, it seems I’ll need to make the basement bigger. Otherwise, there won’t be enough space to store everything.”
