Dungeons were born alongside the world and are said to have been created by the gods.
It is unknown why monsters appear within dungeons.
Only one type of monster appears per dungeon floor.
Monster parts are not only used as food but in various other applications.
As a result, towns tend to form around dungeons.
・Zone Information
Every 5 floors, the elemental type of monsters change. Floors 1–5 are non-elemental.
Dungeons are typically structured like mazes.
The white gate lies to the east, and the black gate to the west.
The cycle of elements repeats in the order: Water → Fire → Wind → Earth → Water.
Each elemental zone has distinct characteristics.
Water: The dungeon is filled with water.
Fire: The dungeon is filled with either fire or sand.
Wind: The dungeon resembles an open field with a sky.
Earth: Walls are significantly harder than in other zones.
From certain floors onward, bosses appear on the final floor of each zone, similar to Monster Houses, and only once per day.
・Movement and Gate Rules
Entering a black gate lets you descend to lower floors. You can travel directly from 1F to 10F.
Entering a white gate lets you ascend floors. You can go straight from 10F to 1F.
You can only move within the floors you’ve already reached. In a party, the leader’s progress determines the range.
This means once you defeat a boss, you don’t have to fight it again.
・ Monster House Mechanics
Monster Houses appear once a day, labeled at the entrance as either “Undefeated” or “Defeated.”
Monsters appear only if the room is marked “Undefeated.” If “Defeated,” none spawn at all.
No attacks are possible between inside and outside the Monster House room. You can leave before finishing.
Typically, 1 monster spawns per 10 square meters; in wind zones, it requires 20.
You can dig out areas in dungeons to create your own Monster House.
・Permanent Perks
When a certain number of external entities are present inside the dungeon, special perks are granted.
If the presence of outsiders drops for an entire year, the perks will downgrade.
(For example, if a dungeon qualifies for the 10,000-person bonus but only gets 9,000 visitors for a year, it will drop to the 9,000-person level.)
The dungeon expands and monster spawn rates increase.
(Even if the dungeon is crowded, it won’t feel like a packed sardine can.)
Monster House battles can occur more than once per day.
