I decided to let this slide for now and have a small bathtub prepared tomorrow. If I fill it with Aqua’s hot spring water, it’ll be perfect. My very own private hot spring. It would’ve been great if I had a bathtub in my room. But unfortunately, I don’t. Maybe I should ask for one to be installed.

Ahh, my perfect plan just came crashing down. That was short-lived.
It wasn’t just my mother whose eyes sparkled with interest. The maids were just as captivated. I guess all women care about beauty. I just wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring, that’s all…
“I see. In that case, we need to replace the water immediately.”
“It’s a bit much to do right now, don’t you think? Mother, let’s just do it another time.”

At my mother’s command, the maids swiftly sprang into action. They immediately brought bathrobes and started using magic to warm the bathroom. When had they even unplugged the drain? The water level was dropping at an incredible speed. Their efficiency was terrifying.
Within minutes, all the bathwater was gone. It felt a little wasteful, but I suppose this was just how royalty operated.
“Alright, Rufus, do it.”
“O-okay. Aqua, fill the bath with hot spring water. Make sure the temperature is just right. And, uh… definitely include the skin-beautifying effects.”
“Understood.”
At that moment, a thick cloud of steam burst from Aqua. It rapidly filled the tub to the brim.
Wait, no, it wasn’t just filling—it was overflowing slightly. It was like a proper kakenagashi (constant flow) hot spring.
“Mother, it looks like it’s ready. And… yeah, the temperature seems perfect.”
Just to be sure, I checked the water temperature. If I hadn’t specified it, it could have ended up too hot or too cold. Controlling magical creatures was harder than it seemed—I had to think through all sorts of details.
“Well then, let’s get in. Mmm… this feels divine.”
…What was that sultry voice? Stop it.
My Kerotan almost reacted!

Flustered, I quickly sank into the bath to hide. Phew, safe. I couldn’t let my mother see that.
One by one, the maids entered the bath as well. They were letting out soft sighs like “Ahh…” and “Mmm…”

But I couldn’t blame them—this really was something else. It felt like the mineral-rich water was seeping deep into my body.

Then, the changes began almost immediately.

“This is amazing!”
The women started chattering excitedly. It seemed the skin-beautifying effects were incredibly potent.
Yeah… this was fine. I was totally fine with this. I hadn’t done anything wrong.
I checked my own skin—smooth, soft, and silky. It was like I had just been born. No wonder my mother and the maids were freaking out.
There were apparently other benefits, but I wouldn’t be able to tell. I didn’t have stiff shoulders or back pain. I’d have to wait and hear what Father and my brothers said after they used it later.
If the effects were strong, maybe we could turn the knight order’s communal bath into a hot spring. They’d probably love that.
………But I definitely wasn’t going to suggest it myself. That would draw way too much attention.
Right now, the only people aware of my abilities were my family, the Summoning Guild members, and my personal guards and servants. If I kept it that way, things wouldn’t get out of hand.
“Rufus, this hot spring is incredible! I’d love to use it every day!”
“Uh… well, I guess I can manage that.”
And just like that, I casually accepted my mother’s request.
This could actually work to my advantage—if I ever messed up and she got mad, I could just use this as leverage. If she wanted to keep her daily hot spring baths, she might let me off with just a scolding.
After making this secret deal with my mother, it was time to move on to our original plan—drying her hair using Tia’s magic.
Not just my mother, but also the now silky-skinned maids were looking at me expectantly.
Wait a second… am I becoming some kind of beauty guru here?

“By the name of Rufus Eladoria, I command you—manifest, Fairy!”

Tia’s gaze was immediately drawn to my mother’s chest.
Right now, my mother was in her undergarments. Here, the custom was to dry one’s hair first before changing into nightwear—otherwise, the extravagant clothes would get ruined.
Tia then glanced down at her own chest and compared it to my mother’s… before turning to look at me.

I could already hear the complaints—”Then why didn’t you just make me bigger in the first place?”—but in my mind, Fairies *looked* like Tia. That was just how it was. Deal with it.
“Tia, I need you to use your magic to dry my mother’s hair. Can I count on you?”
“Of course. But… in exchange, can I get a little *bigger*?”
“Yeah, no. That’s kinda beyond my power. Sorry.”
“I feel like you could do it, though~?”
Tia flew around me. She was eyeing me with suspicion.
Well… maybe I could do it, but I wasn’t going to.
If I did something like that, my mother would definitely start looking at me weirdly.
Like, “Are you secretly summoning magical creatures at night for improper reasons?”
For the record, the only thing I summon at night is Lagios to drain energy from.
Lately, I’ve been draining Beartolt too.
And soon, I plan to add Moguran to the list.
