Killer Queen (GL) - Chapter 16
At the same time Luo Yu returned to the interrogation room, Luo Han had just gotten off the plane and was rushing towards the villa.
“Is there any news from that side?” The condescending tone was the exclusive authority of a queen.
“Torture was used, but he didn’t say anything. The people in the torture room were afraid of beating him to death, so they waited for the Master to go and interrogate him personally.” In the spacious RV, Luo Yi (洛一) knelt on one knee, reporting methodically.
“Are you sure the person caught is related to ‘July Fifteenth’?” This time, Luo Thirteen and Luo Fourteen both made a move, having planned for a long time, but still let “July Fifteenth” escape. Luo Han was very irritable. When she was irritable, she often smoked one cigarette after another.
Smoke curled up in the car. Luo Yi knew the Master was in a bad mood at the moment, and he spoke even more cautiously. “The members of ‘July Fifteenth’ made a move to save him. Even if he doesn’t know their true identities, he must be connected to them.”
“We’ve caught the bait, and we’re just waiting for the big fish to take the hook,” a cold smile spread across Luo Han’s lips. “Even if the big fish doesn’t take the hook, we’ll just discard the bait.”
“Subordinate understands.” The person caught was just a male host. Even if he was killed, a little money could be used to smooth things over with the police station, and everything would be covered up without a trace. After all, the death of an insignificant person was too common an occurrence for a powerful organization like the Luo family.
“Monitor all the Luo-headed assassins in the Luo family, as well as everyone from the Xing-headed and Chu-headed (刑字頭 and 初字頭) families who have served the Luo family for generations. Don’t let a single person go. If anyone makes a move, report to me immediately.” The coldness in Luo Han’s eyes deepened, carrying a murderous, bloody chill. “If the big fish really takes the bait and wants to commit murder to silence the witness and destroy the body and evidence, I’d like to see who this mole is, lurking in the Luo family and repeatedly ruining my plans!”
Luo Yi felt the Master’s tempestuous fury, lowered his head, and sighed inwardly. The Luo family is probably about to face a bloody and devastating purge…
“Open the door!” Luo Han commanded.
“Master, this…” The faces of Xing Wu and Xing Liu were extremely ugly.
“Why are you stammering? Do you want me to cut out your tongues!” Luo Han yelled loudly, her mood becoming even more irritable.
Xing Wu and Xing Liu dared not say anything more, so they braced themselves and pushed the iron door open.
Inside the torture room, it was empty. There was no one there.
The Young Master was gone, and the arrested prisoner was also gone.
Luo Han turned her head, her face ashen, and stared coldly at the two guards by the door. Xing Wu and Xing Liu’s faces changed drastically. Their legs gave way, and with a thump, they fell to their knees. “The Young Master went in a long time ago and never came out. We didn’t dare disturb the Young Master, so…” Their voices were trembling too much to continue speaking.
Xing Wu and Xing Liu closed their eyes, quietly awaiting the sentence of death. The Luo family had no tolerance for useless people who had messed up.
Luo Han pulled out the pistol from her waist, pulled back the safety catch, and the dark, deep muzzle was aimed at their temple/acupoint. The next second would be a splash of bl00d.
“Don’t!” The sound of hurried footsteps. Luo Yu rushed over from a secret passage, out of breath, and happened to see this scene.
Sure enough, just as I expected. Mother’s thunderous anger requires fresh bl00d as a sacrifice.
Luo Han holstered the gun, took quick strides forward, and before Luo Yu could catch her breath, she brutally kicked her down onto the floor.
Luo Yu tightly covered her waist with her hand. That fierce kick probably reopened the wound on her waist. Luckily, she was wearing a black outer garment, so the bloodstains wouldn’t be too obvious.
“Get up for me! Are you lying on the ground playing dead!” Luo Han was furious.
Luo Yu gritted her teeth to endure the pain, shakily stood up against the wall, and looked up at Luo Han’s expression, which was indeed terrifyingly dark.
“It’s not their fault. I forced them to open the door. If you must kill them, kill me first.” No matter how severe the punishment is, let me bear it alone. Don’t implicate innocent people anymore.
“You bastard!” Luo Han jumped up in anger and kicked Luo Yu again. Luo Yu lost her balance, slammed heavily into the wall, and then fell weakly onto the cold floor.
Luo Yu wiped the bl00d spilling from the corner of her mouth, struggled to crawl up from the ground, and knelt at Luo Han’s feet.
“Are you threatening me?” Are you counting on the fact that I wouldn’t dare kill you? The Queen hated being threatened the most.
“I wouldn’t dare.” Luo Yu’s attitude was respectful, and her tone was sincere.
But in the Queen’s ears, this was the deepest irony. “You’ve already done it, what is there you wouldn’t dare do!” A slap landed. Luo Yu’s face immediately swelled up, and her body was struck so hard that she tilted to one side.
“Where is the person?” The Queen calmed down slightly from her rage. After all, the matter of “July Fifteenth” was more important. Luo Yu couldn’t escape anyway; there was plenty of time to deal with her later.
“Several of his internal organs were hemorrhaging. He wouldn’t survive the night, so to save him from further suffering, I gave him a quick end with one slash.” Luo Yu lied without batting an eyelid.
“Idiot!” Luo Han was furious. She had released the news of the Luo family’s arrest to lure out “July Fifteenth.” Who knew Luo Yu would suddenly show up, interfere, and completely ruin the carefully set chess game.
Luo Han knew somewhat that Luo Yu often asked Little Angel to accompany her for drinks. Now, she only thought Luo Yu was utterly stupid and had ruined her plans, without suspecting anything else.
The calmness Luo Han had struggled to maintain instantly vanished. Her anger spread like wildfire. She turned and took a long, dark whip from the wall.
The whip was very long, about two meters, a heavy, deep black, chilling and terrifying. The narration (言情子) stated that the whip was not thick, but Luo Yu knew too well: a very thick whip looks scary but doesn’t hurt much when hitting the body, but this kind of thin whip, when it lashes, the pain truly penetrates the bone marrow. Luo Yu instinctively flinched, trying her best not to look at the long leather whip. Her heart slammed against her ribs.
