Killer Queen (GL) - Chapter 24
Luo Yu raised his/her head and suddenly discovered that there was a strangely patterned tattoo on Xi Qi’s arm, which he/she had never noticed before. The tattoo almost occupied Xi Qi’s entire arm, coiling and winding upwards, almost reaching the shoulder.
“Was this tattoo done only recently?” Luo Yu curiously reached out and touched it. Little Qi’s skin was indeed very elastic and comfortable.
“It only appears when stained with bl00d, and it will disappear after one night.”
Luo Yu widened his/her eyes. There was actually such a miraculous thing in this world? A tattoo that only appears briefly when watered with bl00d?
“I saw Nan Qi also had an identical tattoo on her arm.” Luo Yu was a little jealous.
“The one on her body is just an ordinary tattoo; it won’t disappear. She didn’t have it on her arm before I left.” Xi Qi had already changed into a clean set of pajamas, holding a first-aid kit in her hand.
That was a tattoo etched because of longing. Such a complex pattern, yet she could remember every detail and every position on it. Perhaps she really loves you, loves you very much, loves you to the point of losing herself.
Luo Yu felt a little unsettled in his/her heart. His/Her feelings for Nan Qi were complex. From the initial hatred, to later pity, now only a sigh remained. Her reckless, deep love made Luo Yu surprised and respectful, and her madness and sorrow made Luo Yu pity and ache. However, Luo Yu would not let go of Xi Qi, because he/she also deeply loved this woman, even if the whole world called her a devil from hell.
Xi Qi lifted the cloak off Luo Yu’s body, exposing his/her naked, pure white body completely to the slightly cool air. Under Xi Qi’s unreserved gaze, Luo Yu shyly buried his/her head in the pillow, and the pure white skin gradually turned a faint pink.
“The wound isn’t bleeding anymore?” Xi Qi squeezed the fragrant ointment into her palm.
Luo Yu nodded and gave a wry smile, “Nan Qi stopped the bleeding for me.”
When Xi Qi heard the two words “Nan Qi,” she suddenly had a bad premonition. She turned Luo Yu’s body over to look and immediately her face darkened, and killing intent gradually emerged. One wound was burned and mangled, a black, blurred mess, and another wound seemed to have been torn more severely.
“I should have sliced her into a thousand pieces earlier!” Cruel words were spat out from cold lips. What Xi Qi said was certainly not a joke.
Cold fingers slowly stroked the marks of the wounds, bringing a slight stinging sensation. Luo Yu obediently lay face-down on the bed, allowing Xi Qi to handle him/her.
Those hands of ruthless slaughter were now gently caressing Luo Yu’s body, the fingertips even carrying a faint scent of bl00d.
Long, fair, alluring, an assassin’s fingers were always extremely slender and nimble.
Luo Yu couldn’t resist. He/She stuck out a little tongue and licked Xi Qi’s other hand placed by the pillow, his/her tongue curling around each slender finger, a faint smell of rust blooming on his/her lips.
“What are you licking? Are you a puppy?” Luo Yu’s tongue was soft, and the warm, soft touch made Xi Qi feel very comfortable. Her body seemed to start warming up slightly. After every kill, Xi Qi would feel her bl00d boiling, exhilarated and satisfied. Tonight, she had been deliberately suppressing the flame in her abdomen and the irritability in her chest.
“A puppy needs its master’s petting.” Luo Yu jokingly continued Xi Qi’s words, flirting and teasing, completely unaware that he/she was playing with fire, and would soon get burned.
Luo Yu pretended to be pitiful, tilting his/her head up, his/her eyes glistening with moisture, and his/her lips plump and shiny from the previous arousal. Xi Qi’s eyes dangerously narrowed. The flame in her abdomen burned fiercer and fiercer.
Luo Yu continued to fearlessly stick out his/her little tongue and licked Xi Qi’s long, slender fingers. Xi Qi pretended to push her fingers deep into Luo Yu’s mouth, using the thin calluses to rub against Luo Yu’s warm, soft inner wall. Two fingers even pinched Luo Yu’s little tongue, wantonly manipulating and playing with it, occasionally rubbing the sensitive palate.
The skill of seduction was originally one of an assassin’s required courses. Xi Qi had known it for a long time, but it was only now finally put to use.
Luo Yu was naturally no match for Xi Qi. In a short while, he/she was panting, completely defeated. His/Her tongue dodged left and right, but couldn’t escape Xi Qi’s teasing. A thread of glistening liquid hung from the corner of his/her mouth, and both cheeks showed an unnatural flush.
Xi Qi finally let go of Luo Yu’s small mouth and took out her fingers. If it had lasted any longer, Luo Yu probably would have suffocated and passed out.
Luo Yu sighed in relief, blinked his/her glistening eyes, and stuck out his/her little tongue to lick the fluid from the corner of his/her mouth, looking alluring and captivating.
The flame that Xi Qi had just forcefully suppressed instantly exploded into balls of fire, burning fiercely.
Xi Qi lowered her head and kissed the wounds on Luo Yu’s back, then continued down the spine, waist, buttocks, thighs…
Luo Yu blushed deeply, “Not there, stop!” The buttocks were covered with whip marks and were extremely sensitive.
Xi Qi was surprised and looked up to ask, “Did I hurt you?”
Luo Yu’s face was even redder, and his/her head was lowered further, “No, it’s just itchy, like feathers covering it.”
The cool kiss unique to Xi Qi was just a light touch at first, a slightly chilly sensation. Then, Xi Qi stimulated every wound on the body. The tip of her tongue rippled with the scent of fresh bl00d, stimulating every nerve in Xi Qi.
Xi Qi was a born assassin. Fresh bl00d would excite her, thrill her, and make her feel pleasure, but bl00d would also make her fierce and brutal, immersing her in slaughter.
“Mmm, ugh…” Luo Yu began to groan impatiently, turning his/her head with a face flushed with color, his/her voice soft like sticky rice, “Little Qi, stop.”
The tingling, slightly painful sensation, mixed with some anticipation and some fear, Luo Yu couldn’t tell if he/she genuinely didn’t want it, or if it was just saying no while meaning yes.
Xi Qi ignored Luo Yu’s faint, negligible sounds of protest, using her teeth to rub against the ridges of bl00d, sucking on the whip marks that carried a faint bloody scent, and even gently nibbling and mangling them, disregarding the slight gasps and pleas for mercy from the person beneath her.
The two lay on the narrow bed, very close, almost able to feel each other’s slight breathing and gasps. Their eyes met, their lips almost touching. In the quiet air, only their deep and shallow breathing remained.
Just when the two were about to proceed further, the scene-ruining phone rang.
Xi Qi’s expression darkened slightly, but she did not stop it.
Luo Yu reluctantly took the call, his/her voice carrying a hint of annoyance, “In the middle of the night, can’t even get a good night’s sleep!”
The corner of Xi Qi’s mouth curled slightly. Wasn’t this talking nonsense with eyes wide open? Weren’t they just doing ‘preparatory activities’?
Perhaps due to frustration, Luo Yu’s face was full of impatience, and he/she yawned repeatedly.
“My dear grandaunt, such a big thing happened, and you’re still sleeping so soundly.” Yue Ye’s (Moonlight’s) voice was somewhat hurried and anxious.
Hearing that Yue Ye was not joking, Luo Yu also put away his/her casual and impatient expression, giving a wry smile, “Why do you always bring bad news? I won’t dare to answer your call anymore. Tell me, what happened again?”
“Yesterday, the Luo Family and the upper management of Qianying held negotiations and signed a cooperation agreement. The content of the agreement is to jointly deal with our July Fifteenth. I just received this intelligence.” Yue Ye had always been very calm, but now he was also a little flustered. “Their actions are very fast. Several intelligence posts we set up earlier have been cleared by them, and many of my informants are now unreachable. I’m afraid they are doomed.”
July Fifteenth had offended many assassin organizations. The first to bear the brunt was the number one ranked Luo Family, and the second was Qianying. Now, the wrong has a source and the debt has an owner; the main parties have come calling.
Luo Yu massaged his/her forehead, having a headache. If the Luo Family and Qianying joined forces, it would be most disadvantageous for July Fifteenth. Currently, July Fifteenth was small in scale and not powerful enough. If the Luo Family got serious, all his/her previous arrangements and preparations would be wasted.
“Tell the informants we’ve planted in other organizations to be careful. Don’t contact each other recently, and don’t transmit intelligence. Wait until this storm passes.” Luo Yu made an immediate decision, and an excellent strategy immediately surfaced in his/her mind.
“That’s treating the symptoms but not the root cause. We absolutely cannot let the two largest organizations in the assassin world join forces!”
“They won’t cooperate. They have been arch-enemies for decades. How can it be so easy for them to join forces?” A slight smile rippled at the corner of his/her mouth. Luo Yu stretched out a finger, coiling and playing with Xi Qi’s long hair.
Yue Ye didn’t quite understand and wanted to ask one more question, but who knew, the other party had already turned off the phone.
Feeling annoyed, and in no mood to continue what they were doing earlier, Luo Yu lay on the bed, resting his/her head on Xi Qi’s arm, and fell into a deep sleep.
There was never a moment of peace in life; a moment of tranquility was rare. Xi Qi held the other person’s waist, gently patting it.
The moonlight was heavy: three parts hazy, seven parts dim.
Early the next morning, Xi Qi woke up early as usual, but the side of the bed was already empty. Xi Qi touched the quilt beside her—it was cold. It seemed he/she had been gone for a long time.
As an assassin, Xi Qi was always a light sleeper, waking up immediately at the slightest movement at night. Yet, last night, she hadn’t noticed Luo Yu leaving.
Was it because they were too tired from the activity last night?
Or was it because he/she was sleeping next to her, and she was too relaxed?
It seemed like it had been a very long time since she had slept so deeply, so peacefully, and so tranquilly.
Xi Qi rubbed the pitch-black pistol under her pillow and sighed. If an assassin had come, sleeping this deeply, she would probably have died long ago.
Meeting him/her, was it good or bad? Was it right or wrong?
In the equally bright morning, the Luo Family headquarters, however, was in a state of chaos and turmoil.
Last night, the Luo Family received intelligence that the Young Master/Mistress had been kidnapped. Luo Han did not sleep all night, ordering his subordinates to turn the entire city upside down. Luo Han was in a foul mood, having smashed three blue and white porcelain teacups in just one night.
At 6:30 AM, a figure covered in bl00d lay at the gate of the Luo Family headquarters. A large pool of bl00d had flowed out, and the entire beige marble floor was soaked with bloodstains. The scene was extremely shocking and bloody. Luo Han did not speak, but his face was extremely grim. The iron doorknob of the main gate was crushed.
The servants hurriedly and clumsily lifted the unconscious Luo Yu onto a stretcher and rushed him/her to the nearest private hospital.
The bl00d from the wounds had clearly stopped last night, but just to create a more shocking visual effect, Luo Yu did not hesitate to self-mutilate, personally adding two more cuts to his/her thigh. A large amount of fresh bl00d surged out, soaking his/her entire body.
Luo Han was cold-hearted and ruthless. If Luo Yu had stood perfectly fine in front of him/her, Luo Han might not have broken the cooperation with Qianying over the kidnapping, especially since joining forces was extremely beneficial to the Luo Family.
Therefore, Luo Yu had to take a gamble. To increase his/her leverage, he/she had to endure the pain of self-mutilation, just to make Luo Han’s cold, iron-like heart feel a tiny bit of pain. He/She was not ruthless enough towards others, but cruel enough to himself/herself. Perhaps Luo Yu never learned to cherish himself/herself since childhood, and had long become accustomed to pain.
