Let's Do Some Questions - Chapter 11
When Song Man went downstairs to eat, she was initially very sluggish.
Chu Fengqiu watched her half-closed eyes sending food towards her mouth, worried she might poke herself with her chopsticks.
Halfway through the meal, Song Man was so sleepy she was about to fall asleep.
Chu Fengqiu quickly supported her, took Song Man’s chopsticks, and fed her a bite.
Song Man lifted her eyes to look at her for a moment, then closed them again due to drowsiness, mechanically chewing the food in her mouth.
“Did you sleep very late last night?”
Song Man yawned but didn’t answer.
Not just very late, she barely slept at all.
Song Man had played wildly all night. If she couldn’t play on her phone the next day and could only listen to lectures, it would be too boring. She might as well sleep.
That’s why she looked like this now, unable to even open her eyes. After all, if she slept like this, she didn’t believe Chu Fengqiu could wake her up.
After getting in the car, Song Man tilted her head and fell asleep.
Chu Fengqiu felt that Song Man was being too resistant.
She looked at Song Man with a hint of inquiry in her eyes.
Was she really incapable, or was she capable but just didn’t want to listen?
Song Man entered the classroom yawning and sat in the first row.
As morning self-study began, Chu Fengqiu watched Song Man take a steam eye mask from her pocket, open it, put it on, and lie down on her desk to catch up on sleep.
The people next to her gasped, watching Song Man’s bold behavior.
In the entire school, Song Man was probably the first to dare to do something like this.
Chu Fengqiu didn’t bother her, knowing it wasn’t a good time.
If she woke Song Man up now, she would be like a powder keg, exploding instantly.
Song Man slept straight until the end of morning self-study, took off her eye mask, and stretched.
Sleeping on the desk was very uncomfortable; her shoulders and arms ached, and the side effects of staying up late had appeared, with her temples throbbing.
A hand reached over and massaged her arm.
Song Man was startled and looked at Chu Fengqiu.
“I’m not fully awake yet.”
“Mm.”
Chu Fengqiu nodded.
“I’m going to sleep more later.” Song Man asked tentatively.
“Mm.”
Chu Fengqiu nodded.
“You’re not going to push me to study?” Song Man’s voice rose.
She had thought the busybody would come online and start pushing her to work hard.
“If you want to, you naturally can.”
“Well, I don’t want to.”
“Mm.”
“That’s it?” Song Man became a little dissatisfied.
It felt like punching cotton, completely unsatisfying.
How could she not at least fulfill the request when she was asked?
Chu Fengqiu was being too perfunctory.
Completely letting down her dad’s request.
“Then what do you want?” Chu Fengqiu spun the pen in her hand, eyes lowered.
“I…”
Neither managing nor not managing felt right. What the hell, why am I so hard to please? Song Man genuinely asked herself this question internally.
Song Man simply stopped talking and didn’t look at Chu Fengqiu anymore.
Chu Fengqiu, however, quietly curved her lips into a smile after Song Man looked away.
Another difficult day. Song Man was ready to go wild after school, but she received a call from her follower.
“Challenging me to a fight? Interesting.”
Song Man leaned against the wall, a playful expression on her face.
Chu Fengqiu stood not far away, watching the girl leaning against the red brick wall. The girl’s school uniform was neat, even the top button meticulously fastened, making her look gentle and obedient. But if you meet her eyes, you’ll realize that’s not the case at all.
“Basketball court in half an hour. See you there.”
Song Man set the meeting spot, hummed a tune, put her phone in her pocket, and looked up to see Chu Fengqiu.
“Don’t tell my dad.” Song Man warned.
“I’m coming with you.”
“Huh?” Song Man thought she misheard.
“You really don’t need to get involved in this.”
“I have to watch you. That’s my promise to Uncle Xu.”
“A bookworm insisting on joining the fun, just don’t get scared.” Song Man snorted and walked ahead.
It was Chu Fengqiu’s first time seeing a group fight. A crowd of people swarmed in, greeting Song Man one after another.
“Chu-Chu-Chu-Chu Fengqiu!” Deng Wei stuttered when he saw Chu Fengqiu.
“Can’t you have some backbone? Embarrassing.” Song Man slapped Deng Wei’s head, telling him to stop acting like that.
“No, Man Jie, why is she here?”
“Let her follow if she wants.”
Chu Fengqiu greeted Deng Wei, who nodded back shyly, which was quite an eyesore.
When Ailan saw Chu Fengqiu, the smile on her face slightly faded.
Chu Fengqiu also noticed this unusual reaction and nodded slightly in greeting.
“Deng Wei, do you know who sent the challenge?”
“I’m not sure, I was suddenly contacted.”
The group stood ready, waiting.
Song Man stretched her fingers, ready for a big fight, which would be a good way to vent her frustration from the past few days.
Ten minutes later, an elementary school student appeared.
?????
“Are you Song Man?” The little girl lifted her chin, looking a bit arrogant.
“I am. Are you the one who challenged me?” Song Man is surprised.
“Yes, I’m the one challenging you. I heard people say you’re the most powerful Little Magic Fairy here, and I’m not convinced, so I’ve come to challenge you.”
The little girl took out her Magic Fairy Wand from her backpack. It looked well-made and could sing and flash lights.
“Transform! Song Man!”
?????
Where did this elementary school kid come from???
Is something wrong, sister????
The entire place fell silent for three seconds, followed by thunderous laughter—hahahaha, hehehehe, gagagaga—like being in a chicken coop, duck pond, or pigsty, the air was filled with cheerful sounds.
