Let's Do Some Questions - Chapter 12
“Is it that funny?”
Song Man’s eyes swept over everyone present.
Doesn’t she have any dignity?!
Song Man had thought that the moment she pulled out the Magic Fairy Wand was the most embarrassing moment of her life, but she didn’t expect something even more embarrassing to happen.
Chu Fengqiu was still here!
Damn it, ahhhhhh!
Song Man wanted to strangle Deng Wei, the little brat who had ruined her reputation for life.
As Song Man’s gaze swept over them, everyone looked like chickens with their necks squeezed, their faces flushed red.
Some stopped laughing so abruptly they almost choked, squatting on the ground and pounding their chests like gorillas.
“Why aren’t you transforming yet?”
The childish voice rang out again.
The little girl had finished dancing to her Magic Fairy Wand’s music and, seeing Song Man’s prolonged inaction, asked with some dissatisfaction.
Was Song Man looking down on her Little Magic Fairy?
Deng Wei’s expression was twisted with laughter; he could only cover his face.
Oh, little grandma, please stop talking.
Chu Fengqiu on the side tried her best to control the twitching of her facial muscles, turned around, coughed lightly, and used her fingers to hide the upward curve of her lips.
“I’m challenging you very seriously!”
Song Man looked at her expressionlessly.
The little girl instinctively took a step back, raising the Magic Fairy Wand in her hand.
“Such powerful black magic!”
The little girl exclaimed in surprise. To have such power without even transforming yet made her retreat involuntarily!
?????
Little sister, is something wrong with you?????
“Whose kid is this?”
Song Man’s forehead throbbed.
“Deng Wei, call that number. Find out where this brat got your phone number.”
She was acting so serious, making Song Man think something big was about to happen, and she even brought Chu Fengqiu along.
This was truly humiliating.
Deng Wei quickly took out his phone. Before he could dial, he saw a figure rush over quickly and hug the little girl.
“Let go of me! I want to fight!”
“No! You don’t!”
The person covered the little girl’s mouth and gave Song Man two awkward smiles.
It was someone who looked like a boy at first glance, with a somewhat ambiguous appearance, heroic eyebrows, and a neutral voice, but upon closer inspection, you could tell it was a girl.
“Uh, that, it’s all a misunderstanding. My sister here isn’t quite right.”
The person pointed to their head.
“Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm!”
Your head isn’t right!
“If you don’t listen, I’ll banish you from the Magic Fairy Castle!”
The little girl immediately stopped moving.
Song Man took a deep breath. What was all this?
“Everyone, scatter!”
Damn it, this incident would probably spread again today, completely destroying her authority.
Top Dog Song Man was very annoyed.
Some people still wanted to stay and watch, but were met with Song Man’s death glare and obediently slipped away.
Before long, only Song Man, Deng Wei, Chu Fengqiu, Ailan, and the pair of one big and one small remained on the basketball court.
That person tried to pull the little girl away to leave with the main group, but Ailan stopped them.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
“Nowhere, it’s all a misunderstanding. My sister isn’t right in the head, please don’t hold it against her.”
Caught red-handed, the person stopped and said with a sincere expression.
“Do I look like someone who would hold things against a child?”
Song Man smiled, raised her hand, and snatched the Magic Fairy Wand from the little girl.
“Of course I do.”
For Song Man, in this matter, getting hurt was a small issue, but losing face was a big one. Although arguing with an elementary schooler was quite demeaning, she had to figure out the whole story.
“Still mmm mmm mmm mmm!”
The little girl wanted to speak, but her sister covered her mouth.
“If you make noise again, I’ll break this Magic Fairy Wand for you, so you can never return to the Magic Fairy Castle and can’t be a Little Magic Fairy anymore!”
Song Man was so angry she had lost her mind, threatening the little girl with a sinister grin.
The little girl looked scared and shook her head.
Heh, elementary school kid.
Chu Fengqiu almost couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Song Man’s childish appearance was really cute.
Although if Song Man heard the word “cute,” she would definitely explode, Chu Fengqiu couldn’t find another word to describe this feeling.
The little girl’s sister introduced herself as Shen Conglin, and the little girl was Shen Congyu.
Song Man felt like they were both lacking water (a pun on their names sounding like “forest” and “rain”).
Shen Congyu was in third grade this year and was obsessed with Little Magic Fairies. Her family was well-off and doted on their youngest daughter, so they indulged her in everything.
To what extent? Their house was decorated gaudily, the maids were all “beautiful girls” who had to wear cosplay outfits, and her parents even dressed up. This made the little girl believe she was truly a genius beautiful girl from the Magic Fairy Castle, the number one Little Magic Fairy who was invincible.
“Her brain is a bit off.”
Song Man commented.
“Right? I think so too. My mom even wanted me to wear that Magic Fairy outfit. Are you kidding? How could I? With my qualifications, I should at least be a Magic Fairy Prince.”
Shen Conglin agreed with deep conviction.
Okay, neither sister was normal.
“How did she know his phone number?”
Chu Fengqiu looked at Deng Wei, seeing the topic had drifted, and pulled it back.
Song Man’s expression stiffened when she heard Chu Fengqiu speak. It was so embarrassing.
“About this… I don’t know where she heard about you hitting people with a Magic Fairy Wand. She said you were a powerful black magic fairy and wanted to challenge you one-on-one. How could that happen, right? But she insisted on meeting you. If I didn’t agree, she’d cry and make a fuss at home, wouldn’t eat, and said she had to come out and save the world.”
Song Man looked at Deng Wei, who wished he could bury his head in the ground.
One mistake, a thousand years of regret.
“There was nothing I could do, so I asked around for your contact information and eventually, after many turns, found his. Originally, I wanted to arrange a meeting with you, but I didn’t expect…”
Shen Conglin saw the call history on her phone and almost had a heart attack. She quickly asked the maids at home if they had seen Shen Congyu.
One of them confessed about the challenge letter, thinking it was just role-playing between friends.
Shen Conglin rushed out in a panic and almost had a second heart attack when she arrived and saw a large crowd.
“Do you know how dangerous this is? Even if no one would lay a hand on her, a primary schooler, what if someone had bad intentions?”
Shen Congyu was truly raised well; the little girl was bright and lovely, but the way she looked down on people with her chin was very annoying.
“We’ll talk to her properly when we get back. I’m really sorry for causing you trouble.”
Shen Conglin looked helpless.
“See this Magic Fairy Wand?”
Song Man shook it at Shen Congyu.
Shen Congyu nodded.
Song Man exerted force, rested it against her knee, and snapped it hard.
The Magic Fairy Wand broke into two halves, revealing the wires inside.
“This isn’t a real Magic Fairy Wand. You’re not a Little Magic Fairy at all.”
Shen Congyu’s eyes widened, looking greatly shocked.
“You’re a bad person!”
The little girl shouted and ran away crying.
Shen Conglin quickly chased after her, not forgetting to turn back and give Song Man a thumbs-up.
The farce finally ended. Song Man flexed her wrist.
“Deng Wei.”
Gritting her teeth wasn’t enough to express Song Man’s mood.
“Ahhh, Man Jie, I was wrong, I was really wrong. How about I buy you breakfast for a whole semester?”
“No need.”
“Man Jie! I’ll do your homework for a semester!”
“With your accuracy rate, I’d rather not do it.”
“Man Jie, give me a chance to make it up to you!”
Deng Wei hugged Song Man’s leg, whimpering.
“If you let go now, you still have a chance to live.”
Song Man took a deep breath.
Deng Wei quickly let go and continued to shamelessly cling to her.
“Ailan, stuff his mouth for me.”
Ailan took out a small bread from her pocket and stuffed it into Deng Wei’s mouth.
The world was quiet. Song Man turned back and glanced at Chu Fengqiu, feeling another wave of embarrassment.
It was truly like embarrassment’s mother opened the door for embarrassment; it was embarrassing to the extreme.
It was one thing for her own people to see this, but for outsiders to see it was a complete loss of face!
“Man Jie, I’ll treat you to dinner…”
“Eat my ass, I’m going home.”
Song Man felt she needed to calm down.
Song Man waved and hailed a taxi.
Chu Fengqiu followed, but Ailan called out to her.
“Man Jie is going home, you don’t need to follow, right?”
“Of course I do.”
Chu Fengqiu opened the car door and let Song Man get in.
“She’s going my way. You guys go eat. Don’t let me see you within three days, or I’ll get angry.”
Song Man poked her head out to glare at Deng Wei, then sat back in.
Chu Fengqiu nodded at Ailan and closed the car door.
The car sped away, its exhaust dissipating into the air.
“Who was that person?”
Ailan felt a warning bell ring in her heart, a great sense of threat appearing. She remembered Deng Wei seemed to have called that girl by name.
“Huh? You mean Chu Fengqiu?”
“Yes, her.”
“She’s the school beauty of our Qingcheng No. 1 High, a genuine goddess!”
“She’s the school beauty? She’s not even half as good-looking as Song Man.”
Ailan snorted lightly. She couldn’t deny that girl was indeed quite good-looking, but compared to Song Man, she was far inferior. Why should she be the school beauty?
“Man Jie is the Top Dog; who would dare crown her school beauty? Besides, I think Chu Fengqiu is quite good-looking.”
Deng Wei sighed twice, then immediately put his hands together towards Ailan.
“Ailan, you absolutely must put in a good word for me these next few days, please, please.”
“Deal with your own problems.”
Ailan tossed her hair and turned to leave.
Whether it was a clash of auras or some other reason, the moment Ailan saw Chu Fengqiu, she felt a dislike.
She had originally intended to help, but Deng Wei actually said Chu Fengqiu was good-looking. Fine, they couldn’t be sisters anymore.
In the taxi, the atmosphere was a bit heavy.
“Today was purely an accident. Next time, when I’m serious, I’ll show you what I can do.”
Song Man deliberated over her words for a long time, finally forcing out this sentence.
“Okay, then I didn’t see anything today.”
Chu Fengqiu nodded.
Song Man raised an eyebrow. She didn’t expect Chu Fengqiu to be so understanding.
Interesting.
“Are you still going to evening self-study today?”
Chu Fengqiu asked, knowing the answer.
“Class starts in just ten minutes, and you’re still asking if I’m going?”
Song Man had a habit: if she was going to be late, she might as well round it up and go later, or not go at all.
“You can not go, but you have to do a test paper.”
“What if I go?”
“Do a test paper in the classroom.”
“There’s no choice at all. What if I don’t do it?”
“I will always remember what happened today.”
“You said you didn’t see anything!”
“Schrödinger’s not seeing.”
Chu Fengqiu chuckled.
“How can such a shameless person exist in this world!”
Yet, others thought she was gentle, well-behaved, and kind.
Chu Fengqiu nodded, accepting the evaluation with pleasure.
Song Man ground her back teeth, getting angrier the more she thought about it.
If she hadn’t told Deng Wei to prepare weapons in the first place, then Deng Wei wouldn’t have taken out the Magic Fairy Wand. If Deng Wei hadn’t taken out the Magic Fairy Wand, today’s incident wouldn’t have happened, she wouldn’t have lost face in front of Chu Fengqiu, and she wouldn’t be forced to do a test paper!
And the reason she told Deng Wei to prepare weapons was because Song Qinglan had snitched, causing her to be watched closely.
Very good, the culprit has been found 🙂
