- Episode 26 - The level-up maniac realizes once again how useful that person is
Pick up the dropped magic stones and advance through the dungeon in search of more enemies.
Then I encountered a group of five goblins.
The breakdown is 1 thief, 1 warrior, 1 swordsman, 1 archer, and 1 mage.
This was my first time fighting a group of five, but I had plenty of experience fighting multiple enemies.
I don’t feel like I’m going to lose.
The battle he took on with that mindset was overwhelming from start to finish.
This time, I approached from the beginning with the intention of targeting the Archer and Mage. I calmly dodged the first arrow attacks and fireballs that came my way, then ignored the leading Warrior and jumped to the wall. I got behind the three front-line warriors.
I approached the panicked mage and killed him with a quick attack, then, while keeping my distance, I blocked the attack from the archer who was about to fire a second arrow. At that time, the thief, who had turned back with high agility, attacked, but I cut him down with a single blow.
Afterwards, the Archer tried to back away from the Warrior, so I quickly approached him and cut off his head before anything could happen.
Only the Warrior and the Swordsman remained. At this point, there were no more defeats.
As usual, I knocked back the warrior, then killed the swordsman, and finally defeated the warrior, and the battle ended.
The time required is between 20 and 30 seconds. The HP consumed is 12. The experience points gained are “1240”.
“As expected, it consumes a lot of HP… But the experience point efficiency is very good.”
I still have over 40 HP left, so I continue exploring.
After this, I fought groups of three, four, and five, and as my HP was running low, I ran away from the goblins I encountered and returned to the stairs to rest.
We took several rests and fought each time our HP decreased, and returned to the first floor just after 7:30pm.
After that, I further recovered my HP in the hall in front of the teleportation formation on the first floor, and left the association at around 9pm.
Even though it was only the afternoon, my level had gone up by one.

March 30th.
On this day, I went to the Shinjuku dungeon early in the morning and worked hard to level up on the fourth floor.
Repeat one hour of exploration and one hour of rest. The number of battles per hour is about five. This does not mean that there are many encounters, but simply that HP consumption is an issue.
“Oh, it’s here.”
As I continued fighting goblins, Archer dropped the long-awaited “Basic Heal Potion.”
If he sold this to the association, it would fetch 30,000 yen, but he has no intention of selling it to me.
The effect of a heal potion is the same as a magic heal, to treat injuries and recover HP. A basic heal potion can recover 30 HP.
I wasn’t injured or anything, but I used a potion when my HP got low.
Thanks to that, I was able to shorten my break time a little, and I was able to earn experience points more efficiently than yesterday. As a result, I was able to level up again today, just like yesterday. And with plenty of time to spare.
However, it seems that the drop rate of heal potions is quite low. Even after killing so many goblins today, only one dropped.
Well, even if I’ve defeated so many, if I limit it to Archers, the number of drops will naturally be smaller. I guess it can’t be helped that the drop rate is so low.
If they dropped more frequently, I’d be able to earn experience points without having to take unnecessary breaks.

This is my current status.
Yes, that’s right. There are new skills and an unfamiliar title. Read more here.

【title】
《Battle Maniac》–There are different types of mad people. You are recognized by many as a battle maniac. You gain the skills 《Madness》 and 《Bl00d Vengeance》.
【skill】
《Fighting Spirit Lv. Max》– 《Sturdy》 and 《Agility》 increase by 100%. Consumes 5 HP every 10 seconds.Activated muscle
《Bl00d Vengeance Lv.1》—The lower the remaining HP, the higher all ability values except HP and MP will increase. When HP is below 50%, it will increase by 10%, and when HP is below 20%, it will increase by 20%.
《Sword Spirit Lv.1》—Coat the sword with sword spirit, increasing damage by 1.2 times. Or, send the sword spirit flying as a slash, but the damage is 1.0 times. Consumes 1 HP every 10 seconds. If a slash is sent, another 1 HP is consumed.
————————————————–
Let me explain a bit.
His title was “Battle Maniac”, but the day after he fought the Goblin Knight, for some reason, the “Madman” had transformed into a “Battle Maniac”. Also, his skill “Bl00d Vengeance” had been added.
I guess this is just another misunderstanding spreading on the internet.
Then there’s the 《Sword Spirit》 skill, which is a derived skill that is unlocked by raising the 《Fighting Spirit》 skill to the maximum level.
The power of the slash can be strengthened by consuming HP, and it can also be used to send the slash flying, but this will also consume additional HP.
Yes, I finally got my long-desired means of long-distance attack!
Well, the flying slash doesn’t get the damage increase from “Sword Spirit,” but it does get the multipliers from “Damage Increase When Equipped with Swords” and “Goblin Killer,” so it’s pretty strong.
However, if you increase the level of the 《Sword Spirit》 skill, the HP consumed will increase, and it will become less convenient to use, so it would be better not to increase the level too much until your HP increases further or you have a stable way to recover HP.
–End of explanation.
Now, about today’s income…
6th level thief x 8 = 28,000 yen
6th level warrior x 10 = 52,500 yen
6th level swordsman x 7 = 36,750 yen
7th level thief x 5 = 20,000 yen
7 Level Warrior x 7 = 42,000 yen
7th level swordsman x 5 = 30,000 yen
7th level Archer x 8 = 64,000 yen
7th level mage x 7 = 70,000 yen
8th level swordsman x 9 = 60,750 yen
8th level Archer x 10 = 90,000 yen
8th level mage x 9 = 101,250 yen
After deducting withholding tax from the total of 595,250 yen, today’s income was 534,475 yen.
By the way, to shorten travel time between the 1st and 3rd floors, I ignored all the monsters and headed straight to the 4th floor, so today I only defeated monsters on the 4th floor.
Also, as usual, I only sold magic stones, but that doesn’t mean that’s all I got. As I mentioned before, I got one heal potion and a goblin gear set.
However, the Goblin equipment series is heavy, bulky, and cheap, so I just threw it all away. If the equipment series drops are expensive or usable, I’ll have to wait until the Goblin General appears.
Looking at it this way, goblins aren’t the best monsters to make money from…
Well, even so, you know? Explorers really can make a ton of money after all!?
Even now, if I dived every day for a month, my monthly income would exceed 15 million yen!
At this point, if you’re short on money, all you have to do is go into a dungeon.
Well, enough about money. What’s important is the experience point efficiency.
I did a quick calculation and found that the experience points I’d earned today were 20,890. To be honest, that’s enough experience points to easily level up by one every day up to level 19.
As expected, by level 20 the required experience points will increase to 300,000, so I’ll probably have to move hunting grounds…
Recently, or rather, ever since I acquired the 《Fighting Spirit》 skill, there was something I had been thinking about every day.
–The tempo is bad…!!
Having to take a rest every time your HP goes down is inefficient…!!
While I recover, I just watch videos on the internet or read manga on my smartphone, so it’s not that boring.
But.
Am I in the dungeon to watch videos and read manga?
That’s not right!!
I came to the dungeon to level up.
Considering that, it would be best to do something about this wasted break time.
Having reached the fourth floor, my experience gain efficiency has certainly increased, but it also feels like I’m wasting more time.
I have to do something… something…!!
After racking my brain frantically, I came up with a solution.
Up until now, there was no way to eliminate this inefficiency. But now it’s different. It will cut the EXP gained in half, but I have an idea of how to solve it.
The question is, is it still worth doing it even if the experience points are halved?
Nowadays, most of the time spent exploring dungeons is taken up by resting and moving around.
If he were to spend this time fighting, he would more than just earn double the experience points.
If it’s “there” on this level, you can even skip the time it takes to walk around looking for monsters.
But there’s also the question of whether it’s physically possible.
I thought about it.
“…………I can do it.”
It was probably thanks to my increased level that I still had plenty of stamina even after repeated fierce battles.
If I don’t have to worry about losing HP, I’m sure I can earn more than twice as much experience as I did today.
I initially refused, thinking that it would halve the experience points I gained, but if it actually increased the experience points I gained, then I had no choice.
I mean, even in games where experience points are split, it’s often faster to level up if you have companions.
Maybe I was a bit stubborn, obsessed with the pleasure of leveling up for myself.
What I did… I regret it.
“It’s a bit awkward since I turned it down before, but… I guess I’ll ask.”
It was just after 10 pm, and I had returned home from the association and was relaxing.
I made up my mind, picked up my smartphone, and contacted someone.
