Little Blind Girl - Chapter 11
Ruan’s fingertips trembled slightly, but she didn’t withdraw her hand. With her fingertips, she lightly touched his straight and thick eyebrow, his thin eyelid, the deep crease on his eyelid, and his overly long eyelashes, yet… she couldn’t feel any wound.
“No.” She pulled her fingers back.
“No way.” Ke Congying grabbed her hand and placed it on the other side. “Try again.”
Su Ruan could hear that he was trying to tease her, but she didn’t feel disgusted, only that her heartbeat quickened and her fingertips trembled fiercely.
Her fingertips brushed along the other half of his eyebrows. For no reason, she remembered what the girls in the classroom had said when they discussed Ke Congying.
“Although his grades are poor, it’s true that he’s really handsome…”
Ke Congying grabbed her hand and pressed her fingertips to his nose. His radix was high, the bridge of his nose was straight, and his breath was hot. There were thin lips under the nose.
Su Ruan was mentally sketching the outline of his entire face when her fingers were suddenly rubbed by his soft lips. She let out a cry of surprise and quickly withdrew her hand.
Ke Congying laughed softly. “You’re the first to take advantage of someone only to end up scaring yourself.”
Su Ruan blushed. “You lied to me; you’re not hurt.”
“You want me to get hurt?” Ke Congying asked.
Su Ruan stepped back without answering, but Ke Congying grabbed her hand lightly. When he saw that she was shaking intensely, he moved his hand up and grabbed her wrist.
“Do you want me to get hurt?” He asked again.
Su Ruan bit her lip and said, “No.”
Ke Congying raised her wrist, placed her fingertips on his face, and said in a low voice, “Stick it.”
“Stick… what?” Su Ruan was stunned.
“The thing in your hand.”
Su Ruan only had a Band-Aid in her hand, but…
“Stick it wherever you want. Since you’ve brought it with it, don’t waste it.” Ke Congying let go of her hand.
Su Ruan: “…”
She fumbled to tear off the Band-Aid wrapper. After searching for a while and not knowing where to put it, she finally touched the straight bridge of his nose with her fingertips and plastered the Band-Aid.
“…It’s done.” She pulled back and found her cane. “I’m going home.”
“Why? To read Notre Dame de Paris?” Ke Congying asked while eating a spicy strip.
Su Ruan’s expression darkened as she clutched the cane, but she didn’t want to say anything more on the subject. “I’m leaving.”
Ke Congying stood up, put the spicy strips and drinks into a bag and carried it in one hand. Then he walked up to her. “Let me take you somewhere.”
Before Su Ruan could answer, he had already grabbed her wrist and pulled her forward.
The shopkeeper ran out. “Hey! What are you doing! Why are you holding her hand?!”
Ke Congying turned his head and raised his eyebrows. “Can’t you see we’re dating?”
Shopkeeper: “…”
Su Ruan: “…”
