Little Blind Girl - Chapter 49
He had a severe headache, so he took Su Ruan to take a shower. After briefly drying him off, he didn’t put on any clothes, so he hugged Su Ruan and lay on the bed to sleep together.
At almost noon, Ke Congying’s grandma came over to deliver food. Seeing a mess on the sofa in the living room, the old woman cleaned it up, closed the door gently and left.
It was almost afternoon when Su Ruan woke up, woken up by the heat.
The air conditioner was turned on in the room, but Ke Congying’s body temperature was always on the high side. Before she got out of bed, she gently touched his face, which was extremely hot.
“Ke Congying…” She was startled and touched his forehead again, sweating on her hands.
Ke Congying responded vaguely, took her hand and squeezed it. He sat up half-way, his head hurt so much that his voice struggled when he spoke, “I’ll ask Ge An to take you back.”
“You have a fever.” Su Ruan groped out of bed, “Is there any medicine? I…”
Halfway through her words, she remembered that she couldn’t see anything, bit her lip and stood there motionless.
Ke Congying clasped her hand, pulled her into his arms and hugged her, “What are you thinking about? Let’s go eat first.”
“You have a fever.” Her eyes were red.
“I can’t die from a fever.” He was so helpless that he got out of bed naked, went to get some clothes, put them on Su Ruan first, and then put them on himself.
The living room has been cleaned and the sofa cover has been replaced.
Ke Congying pulled Su Ruan to sit down, heated the food and brought it to her, picked up the chopsticks and handed them to her hands, and then sent a message to Ge An, asking him to come over in half an hour.
“Don’t you want to eat?” Su Ruan asked.
“I’m not hungry, you eat first.” He looked in the mirror and looked at the position on the back of his head. He felt that it was swollen again, and the pain made him breathe a little heavier.
While Su Ruan was eating, he went to find antipyretic medicine and took it.
Then he leaned on the sofa and watched Su Ruan eat.
Her eyes were as red as a rabbit, and she pursed her lips as she ate, as if she was about to cry.
Ke Congying pulled her into his arms and said, “Why are you crying? Give me a bite.”
Su Ruan couldn’t see it, so she picked up the food and handed it to him. Ke Congying opened his mouth, bit it, and told her, “I want to eat meat.”
She tried to pick up the meat with her chopsticks, and he reminded her in her ear, “Move to the side, yes, that piece of meat is pretty good, a little worse than you.”
He was still in the mood to make her laugh.
Su Ruan finished feeding him, and then used a spoon to scoop out a mouthful of rice for him to eat.
Being with Ke Congying would always make her think that she was a normal person. He would never treat her as a blind person. No one would make a blind person do this or that for him.
But only he will.
“I want to drink Coke.” He leaned on her neck, his breath hot, “It’s on your left side.”
She touched the Coke and handed it to him.
Ke Congying opened it and took a sip, then lifted her chin and fed her some.
The two kissed quietly and exchanged the coke from each other’s mouths.
Ke Congying gasped and took her lips in his mouth, biting her lips, breathing unsteadily, “Little Ancestor, I’m hard.”
Su Ruan’s white and tender little hands pressed against his chest, her voice was thin, obedient and soft, “You have a fever, so we can’t do that anymore.”
“Yes.” He kissed her lips again, “We’ll do it after I get better.”
She bit her lip and stopped talking.
“If you feel uncomfortable when you go back, tell me.” He picked up the cloth strip on the sofa and tied it behind her head again, lowered his head and kissed her lips again, “Wait for me.”
He went to the room. After a while, he came out with a mobile phone and handed it to her hand.
“Voice-based, everything you press makes a sound, there is no lock screen, just swipe to unlock. If you want to call me, just press here.” He taught her step by step, and finally said to her, “Call me tonight.”
“Go to the hospital and have a good rest…I won’t give you a call,” Su Ruan whispered, “I won’t give you a call until you get better…”
He lowered his head and bit her lip, “When I get better, I’ll give you a call. You’ll have to stay in the room all day long.”
Su Ruan pushed him shyly, “Why are you like this?”
Ke Congying pinched her chin and kissed her again.
“Go and eat.”
He leaned on the sofa and watched Su Ruan lower her head to eat in shame and annoyance, her little cheeks bulging.
His head hurt terribly, but his heart was so sweet that it felt like it was melting.
