Little Blind Girl - Chapter 50
After Su Ruan was picked up by Ge An, Ke Congying took a taxi to the hospital.
After being scolded by the doctor again, he lay face down on the hospital bed, taking an intravenous drip and doing the test papers that Zhao Yang brought.
In the past, he thought that as long as he got poor grades, he could get rid of his disgusting parents. After meeting Su Ruan, he realized that he could also leave with excellence.
He could also stand next to Su Ruan excellently, go to college with her, work with her, and live with her.
His grandparents saw him lying on the hospital bed doing test papers from across the ward. The old couple’s eyes were red and they didn’t dare to disturb him, so they stood at the door and watched.
It’s been two years.
After Ke Congying’s parents divorced and Ke Congying suddenly changed his temper and started fighting with different gangsters, this was the first time the old couple saw him quietly doing test papers.
They all thought that the irresponsible parents had ruined the child.
Unexpectedly, the child stood up again.
“Is it because of that girl?” Grandpa asked.
Grandma nodded.
“It’s a pity that her eyes can’t see.” Grandpa sighed.
Grandma hit him and said, “You can’t see what’s going on. She is very beautiful. Don’t you see how precious she is to your grandson? Don’t say this in front of him in the future.”
“I know that.” Grandpa shook his head, “It’s just… it’s a pity.”
“It may not last long if you can see it.” Grandma said pointedly, “As long as the child likes it. What happens next depends on their own fate.”
Su Ruan came out of the shower and sneezed.
When she dried her hair and put on her pajamas, she couldn’t help but touch her waist, where Ke Congying had pinched her so much that there must have been marks.
When taking a shower, when the dense water rushed over her body, her chest felt itchy for no reason, as if Ke Congying’s kiss fell on it. His tongue always liked to hook her n1pples and lick them.
Just thinking about this made her body tremble, and water secreted from her bottom.
She quickly put on her pajamas, dried her hair with a dry towel, and then went upstairs.
Halfway through the test paper, her phone rang. There was no ringtone, it just vibrated.
She hid it under the pillow as soon as she came back. Now the buzzing was severe. She picked it up, slid it a few times, and put it to her ear. “Hello?”
“Why didn’t you call me?” Ke Congying responded on the other end of the phone. The voice was hoarse.
“I’m… doing the test paper.” Su Ruan whispered and asked him, “Have you had dinner?”
“Yes.” He smiled, “I’m also working on the paper, and there’s a question on it that’s really difficult.”
“What question?” She became interested.
“You want to tell me?”
Ke Congying turned over, put a pillow behind his back, and pulled out a few papers on the table in front of him. He had a good foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. If he didn’t know the questions, he would look up the steps to solve them. The next time he encounters something similar, he will draw inferences, but he doesn’t have much patience with Chinese. He can get high marks for composition, but he always loses a lot of points for reciting ancient poems, including reading comprehension.
“Chinese paper, reading comprehension question 3.” He asked puzzledly, “Why did the author compare children to ‘cats and puppies?'”
Su Ruan had a smile on her lips, “How did you answer? ‘To show intimacy?’”
He replied, “I was asked to list three answers, and I can only list this one.”
“If you do it twice, you have to interpret it again and again.” Su Ruan said softly. “For the first time, he compared them to a kitten or puppy, emphasizing the child who can’t crawl…”
After she finished speaking, there was no sound on the other end of the phone for a while.
She shouted softly, “Ke Congying?”
After a moment, she heard even breathing coming from the other end.
Ke Congying fell asleep.
Su Ruan couldn’t help but laugh. She didn’t make a sound, and quietly worked on the test paper with her reading earphones on. Her phone was placed beside her, and the sound of Ke Congying’s breathing could be heard from time to time.
Shallow, lingering throughout the room.
