“Dr. Shen, hello.” Gu Jin stood up to greet Shen An when she came in.

What she was wearing today suited her very well. Her skin was fair, and the black shirt accentuated her complexion, giving her a cool and elegant feeling.
Gu Jin stared at the fair and slender wrist below her sleeve, her eyes darkening slightly before she casually looked away.
“No, I just arrived too. Please, sit down.” Gu Jin said, inviting Shen An to sit down without showing anything else. After Shen An sat down, Gu Jin handed her the tablet for ordering.
“I’ve ordered a few of the local specialties. Dr. Shen, please take a look and see if there’s anything else you’d like to eat.”
Shen An flipped through the menu and politely ordered two more dishes before returning it to Gu Jin. “Ms. Gu.”
Gu Jin confirmed the order.
Gu Jin was a good conversationalist. After ordering, she took the initiative to speak. “Dr. Shen, thank you so much for yesterday. You went to all the trouble of coming so late.”
“It’s okay. Liu Sui and I are friends, and you’re her artist, so it’s only right for me to help her.” This topic had already been mentioned several times.
Gu Jin brought it up just to start a conversation. After saying it briefly, she moved on. “Is the hotel far from Dr. Shen’s place?”
