Making Three Heartless Woman Go Crazy for Me - Chapter 21
Luan Hua’s mind went blank. She wanted to say, “Don’t answer it,” but the words felt too… submissive, as if she were completely under Qi Lanshi’s control.
While she was lost in thought, the call hung up due to inactivity.
Before she could even breathe a sigh of relief, the phone rang again—still Bai Jiao.
This time, Qi Lanshi didn’t ask for her opinion. She answered the call directly and held the phone to Luan Hua’s ear.
Her slender finger pressed against her lips as she mouthed, “Shh, be careful.”
Bai Jiao’s voice, gentle and soothing, came through the line. “Luan Hua, where are you? Will you be back tonight?”
Qi Lanshi couldn’t help but click her tongue inwardly. This White Moonlight’s tone and phrasing are just like a virtuous wife waiting for her scumbag husband to come home, she thought. And I’m the wicked woman seducing her partner.
Luan Hua clearly noticed this too. Her face showed a mix of struggle, embarrassment, and a surge of uncontrollable, shocked excitement.
She suppressed her breathing, trying to keep her voice steady. “I have some urgent matters to attend to. I’ll try to get back as soon as possible. Is there anything wrong?”
“Nothing really,” Bai Jiao replied softly, her voice gentle and considerate. “It’s just that your house is so big, and I’m not very familiar with it. I’m a little uncomfortable, that’s all. Of course, your priorities come first. I’ll be fine.”
Luan Hua thought of her own empty mansion and instantly felt a pang of empathy for Bai Jiao. “I…”
Before she could finish, her voice faltered. She bit her lip, swallowing the trembling end of her sentence.
Qi Lanshi’s kiss landed on her neck, teeth gently grazing her soft flesh. His hands moved with just the right amount of deliberate slowness, leaving Luan Hua’s eyes glazed over. Yet she managed to maintain control, hanging suspended between pleasure and restraint, her breath catching with a hint of a sob.
Her eyes widened, still glistening with tears, driving Qi Lanshi—already beyond human decency—even further into depravity. He lowered his head and kissed the corner of her eye, a muffled chuckle rumbling in his throat.
On the phone, Bai Jiao’s voice continued, “Luan Hua? What’s wrong?”
“It’s nothing,” Luan Hua said, tilting her head back, her chest rising and falling with each breath. “You rest first. I’ll contact you when I’m done.”
Without waiting for Bai Jiao’s reaction, she hung up abruptly.
“You…” Luan Hua gritted her teeth, glaring fiercely at Qi Lanshi.
“What’s wrong? Are you angry?” Qi Lanshi asked with a smile. “Judging by your reaction, I thought… you were enjoying it. My fingers are even sore.”
Luan Hua was now both humiliated and furious. She gripped Qi Lanshi’s neck, pulled her close, and bit down hard on her lips, refusing to release her even when she tasted bl00d.
In the Luan Family mansion, usually already eerily empty, today even the master was absent. Bai Jiao stood by the window, gazing at the clear moonlight outside, her eyes cold and detached.
As expected, things began to change the day Luan Hua stopped sending me emails. She should have prepared sooner instead of waiting until now to return home and confront the situation.
Turning around, she encountered the first servant and immediately reverted to her usual gentle demeanor. “Luan Hua hasn’t returned yet,” she asked. “Does she usually work this late?”
The servant replied politely, “I’m truly sorry, but I’m not entirely sure. However, since I started working here, the Master has always returned home quite early.”
Hearing this, Bai Jiao finally showed an expression other than her usual gentle composure. “Really? How long have you been working here?” she asked, surprised.
“Less than two days,” the servant replied.
Bai Jiao fell silent, taking a deep breath. She turned to find someone who had worked here longer, but the servant spoke again: “All the servants in the mansion have been here for less than two days.”
Bai Jiao turned back to see the servant standing respectfully, their expression unchanged. “The previous staff offended someone they shouldn’t have,” the servant explained, “so they were all dismissed. We’re all new here.”
“Someone they shouldn’t have offended?” Bai Jiao felt a growing sense of unease. “Who was it?”
The servant simply shook their head. “The Master’s affairs are not for us to discuss. I’m sorry, but I don’t know.”
With that, Bai Jiao abandoned any thought of asking others for information.
“Someone I shouldn’t have offended,” she murmured to herself, her expression growing colder.
Luan Hua had indeed gone to be with someone else.
Will reminding her like this even work?
Whether it works or not, this is all we can do, the System replied with resignation. Bai Jiao can’t outmaneuver Qi Lanshi—that’s a given. Now it’s just a matter of seeing how far she can go.
That day, Bai Jiao waited for Luan Hua in the mansion all night. It wasn’t until the next morning that Luan Hua finally returned, having changed her clothes.
When Luan Hua saw Bai Jiao, she felt a momentary pang of guilt, not because she believed she had wronged Bai Jiao, but simply because she felt it was wrong to provide Bai Jiao with a place to stay and then abandon her there.
“I’m sorry,” she said.
“Why are you apologizing to me? It’s fine,” Bai Jiao replied, surprised but quickly recovering. She reassured Luan Hua, “You haven’t done anything wrong. You’ve already taken such good care of me. I’m very grateful.”
Luan Hua’s heart settled.
Bai Jiao hadn’t changed at all. She was still exactly as Luan Hua remembered her: gentle, magnanimous, and forgiving.
“I can probably guess what path the White Moonlight character will take,” Qi Lanshi said, lying in her dorm room after just being discharged from the hospital, chatting with the System and her Livestream audience.
“To be a White Moonlight, she’ll definitely need to be both gentle and aloof. Although I haven’t triggered any specific White Moonlight plot points yet, this type of character must have had some connection with Luan Hua in her youth—either providing her with emotional comfort and companionship, or perhaps even saving her life.”
“In her presence, Luan Hua would feel comfortable and at ease, deeply grateful for the White Moonlight’s existence.”
“But with me, it’s completely different. What I give Luan Hua is raw, unadulterated stimulation.”
As Qi Lanshi spoke, she touched her lip, feeling a sharp sting from the bite wound Luan Hua had inflicted. Yet she smiled. “The White Moonlight needs poise and grace, which I lack. I can pull Luan Hua into a passionate encounter right here in the hospital room, while the White Moonlight can only call, half-veiled, to confess her vulnerability.”
Last night, when she grabbed Luan Hua, it wasn’t just because the Dating Card was about to expire. She also wanted to seize the opportunity to gauge the White Moonlight’s true level of influence.
And her final conclusion was—
“Nothing special.”
I’m so sorry, Baozi! Since I started posting this story, so many things have come up that my updates have been terrible. My previous book had consistent daily updates of 6,000 words in its early stages, but this one has been a real struggle.
I stayed up late writing too much the past few nights, and I’ve had a headache all day. I thought I’d take a twenty-minute nap before getting back to writing, but now it’s already this late.
I’ve been trying to update as much as possible these past few days. By the 19th, when I’ve cleared most of my commitments, the updates will be regular and consistent, with bonus chapters too!
Please don’t give up on me! I have good Pit Quality!
