Making Three Heartless Woman Go Crazy for Me - Chapter 52
The abduction of Qi Lanshi went remarkably smoothly, far beyond what even the two thugs had anticipated. They briefly suspected she was playing a trick, but she cooperated so readily, leaving with them without resistance.
“Don’t try anything!” the man growled.
Compared to them, Qi Lanshi remained remarkably calm, a faint smile playing on her lips. “You’re both strong men,” she said. “Shouldn’t capturing a little girl like me be a piece of cake?”
Flattering men always works, and these two were no exception.
They relaxed, their pride swelling before Qi Lanshi. “If you’d cooperated earlier, none of this would have happened.”
Qi Lanshi was forced into their car, her phone confiscated, hands bound, and a blindfold covering her eyes. In the suffocating silence, she suddenly asked a pointless question: “Where are you taking me?”
The men delivered the classic line: “That’s none of your business!”
Hearing this, Qi Lanshi chuckled softly. The sudden, inexplicable laughter made both men tense up. They demanded fiercely, “What’s so funny? What are you laughing at?”
“Don’t get agitated. I have the utmost respect for you both. I just don’t understand something,” Qi Lanshi replied, her tone turning serious. “You kidnapped me for money, right? If that’s all you want, you don’t need to risk breaking the law. I can help you get the money you need.”
A long silence fell over the car after she spoke. Qi Lanshi waited patiently for their response. Finally, after several minutes, one of the men scoffed, “Stop talking nonsense.”
Qi Lanshi: “……?”
The other man added, “We’ve already investigated your background. You’re just a penniless college student who volunteers and works part-time jobs. Do you even have any money? How could you possibly help us get any?”
Qi Lanshi: “……”
Their words were undeniably logical, leaving her with no counterargument.
The Livestream chat erupted in mocking laughter at this exchange.
Hahahahaha! Lanlan’s having a truly disastrous start. Not only did she get shut down by the doctor, but now even ordinary NPCs are giving her trouble.
Lanlan: Poor, pitiful, and wronged, she can only pretend to be strong.
Lanlan was speaking with such authority just now. If her character’s backstory weren’t so pathetic and miserable, someone might actually have believed her.
In the game, Qi Lanshi tried to salvage the situation. “Is it possible that I’m not pursuing money not because I lack the ability, but because I have a vampire father who’s dragging me down?”
“That’s even more unlikely,” one of the thugs said, his logic growing increasingly convincing. “If even a dumbass like Qi Feng can drag you down, it proves you’re not very smart either. How could someone not smart possibly earn money?”
“Alright, stop struggling. Just shut up, be obedient, and your outcome might be a little better.”
Qi Lanshi’s negotiation attempt was thus abruptly cut short. Though this wasn’t a major setback—after all, she was merely using the incident to advance the plot, not genuinely trying to strike a deal with the Black Boss behind the gambling den—being mocked by the two thugs and branded as “not very smart” still stung.
The car continued smoothly for quite some time before Qi Lanshi asked, “Can you tell me how long we’ve been driving?”
“Almost an hour now. We’re almost there, so don’t worry,” the thug replied, noticing her strange demeanor. “Do you realize you’re being taken to be sold? What are you so anxious about?”
Qi Lanshi decided not to waste any more time arguing with these men. She leaned back and fell silent.
With her looks, she typically faced two fates: either being sold outright, or, if she cooperated and proved useful, being used as part of a s3x-for-money transaction.
In short, she would fetch a higher price and be considered more valuable, but the fundamental outcome remained the same.
During a brief lull, she mentally asked the System, “This game is rated 18+, right?”
The System paused before replying, Â Actually, it’s rated 16+.
Qi Lanshi slowly typed out a question mark. Â Does that even make sense? A 16+ game featuring explicit content?
Generally, it’s not allowed. There will be real-name authentication, and when underage players reach explicit scenes, the perspective will shift to the System’s, the player’s, and the audience’s, glossing over the details.
“Ah, that puts my mind at ease,” Qi Lanshi said, asking only to reassure herself. “With that in mind, you’re even less likely to have a dark and tragic ending. The light of the righteous path will always shine upon the land.”
Even if Jiang Qianyun proved unreliable and failed to rescue her in time, no major catastrophe would occur.
That’s not necessarily true, you know. The System’s voice took on a mischievous tone. Just a reminder: this timeline doesn’t have a scriptwriter.
Qi Lanshi: “……”
Why do I keep forgetting that?
At this hour, Jiang Qianyun should be seeing patients. By the time she saw the message and acted to rescue her, who knew how long it would take? In the meantime, Qi Lanshi would have to stall for time on her own.
Another ten minutes passed before the car finally stopped. Qi Lanshi was yanked out, her legs numb from sitting for so long, and she nearly stumbled.
Her captors showed no mercy. She was shoved into a room, and her blindfold was ripped off. The sudden brightness made her eyes water, and it took her a while to adjust.
“Wait here,” the thug said before slamming the door shut and leaving.
The room was completely empty, not even a chair in sight. Qi Lanshi didn’t mind. After stretching her limbs, she simply sat down on the floor.
Logically, they should have kept her locked up longer, hoping to instill fear and break her spirit. But her composure must have been too calm, making the people behind the surveillance realize that mere confinement wouldn’t work.
With a creak, the door swung open. A middle-aged man in a Tang suit entered. Slightly overweight, his appearance and demeanor were archetypal—the classic image of a Black Boss.
“You have quite the nerve,” he said. “I admire your spirit. If you cooperate and follow instructions, you can not only pay off your father’s debts but also earn a fortune.”
“I guarantee, with your looks and temperament, you’ll make a killing. You’ll earn far more than any school or degree could ever offer. But if you refuse to cooperate…”
The man alternated between threats and promises. “You’re a good girl. You wouldn’t want to see your father’s hands and feet chopped off, would you?”
Qi Lanshi watched his one-man show with cold indifference, offering no response.
This boss probably has no idea Lanlan would actually enjoy watching that.
She doesn’t just want to; if the opportunity arises, she might even do it herself.
Qi Lanshi’s silence, interpreted by the Black Boss as stubborn defiance, prompted him to show a rare moment of mercy. He decided to give her more time to consider.
“Stay here and think it over. When you’ve made up your mind, just call for someone.”
“I’ve already made up my mind,” Qi Lanshi said with a smile. “I’m willing to cooperate, but I have a condition. I despise being threatened.”
The Black Boss’s expression shifted, and his henchman roared, “You think you’re in a position to negotiate? Don’t overestimate yourself!”
“I haven’t even stated my condition yet, and you’re already getting so agitated?” Qi Lanshi’s composure stood in stark contrast to their hostility. “I want Qi Feng’s index finger and thumb—the two fingers he usually uses to handle cards.”
Amid their disbelief, Qi Lanshi added, “If I don’t cripple him, how am I supposed to make money? You wouldn’t want your most capable employee to have a deadweight family member, would you, Boss?”
In the previous timeline, Qi Lanshi had crippled both of Qi Feng’s hands with a single sentence. In this timeline, she merely parted her lips and demanded two of his fingers.
Qi Feng had no idea what had happened. One moment he was fine, the next he was disabled. As he writhed on the ground, howling in agony, his severed fingers were retrieved and presented to Qi Lanshi.
“Such a ruthless girl. I like her,” the Black Boss declared, his smugness still ringing in the air. But before he could finish gloating, his subordinate’s face paled. The man leaned in to whisper urgently, “Boss, we’re in trouble! The police have us surrounded, and private security forces are converging on our position!”
Qi Lanshi inwardly sighed in relief.
The timing was perfect. If they had arrived even a little earlier, Qi Feng might have kept his fingers—what a pity that would have been.
As a seasoned leader, the Black Boss immediately grasped where things had gone wrong. He glared at Qi Lanshi and spat out the classic line, “You did this?!”
“If I were you, I’d make a hasty retreat,” Qi Lanshi replied with disarming sincerity. “After all, I’m just a poor college student. My life isn’t as precious as yours. Don’t waste your time on me.”
The Black Boss seethed with hatred, his teeth grinding, but he knew the truth of her words. He could only spit out, “Fine, fine, very well. You’ll pay for this!” before storming out.
Qi Lanshi nearly burst out laughing. She bit her lip, quickly composed herself, and within moments, her eyes rimmed red, tears clinging to the corners, threatening to spill.
The door swung open again, and light, quick footsteps approached. Qi Lanshi looked up, and the moment she saw Jiang Qianyun, a tear slid down her cheek.
“It’s okay now,” Jiang Qianyun said, stepping forward to cradle Qi Lanshi’s head and gently soothe her. “It’s okay. Don’t be afraid.”
“Dr. Jiang,” Qi Lanshi wailed, “they cut off my father’s finger! I’m so scared… I’ve failed him!”
Jiang Qianyun’s back stiffened.
She pulled back slightly, staring into Qi Lanshi’s tear-streaked eyes, and asked slowly, each word deliberate: “You’re crying… for someone else?”
For a split second, Qi Lanshi’s tears froze.
The pervert’s priorities are truly… unique.
