The Princess Who Married The Crown Prince(GL) - Chapter 32
Lu Fangting found herself flustered by Su Qiuqiu’s soft voice and misty eyes. The girl was simply too close—close enough for her to catch the faint, sweet scent of milk on her breath, to breathe in the same air she exhaled.
Lu Fangting had never been particularly fond of milk, but at this moment, the scent seemed oddly pleasant. As she looked at Su Qiuqiu’s slightly parted, rosy lips, with the tip of her crimson tongue barely visible, a wild idea flashed across her mind—she wanted to taste it. The thought shocked even herself.
“Sister, your ears are red. You’re so cute,” Su Qiuqiu said, a smile glimmering in her eyes as she noticed Lu Fangting staring blankly.
“Qiuqiu, don’t joke around… you know I…” Lu Fangting turned her gaze away, her voice barely audible.
“Impotent? Hahaha, even the concubine heard your health’s been improving. If we don’t do something about it, wouldn’t it be a waste of the rumors already spreading?” Su Qiuqiu teased, watching Lu Fangting’s cheeks flush. That bashful expression made her look especially beautiful. Su Qiuqiu’s heart quickened with excitement, feeling as though she’d successfully teased Lu Fangting. Emboldened, she reached out to touch her face and leaned in even closer.
Lu Fangting felt her throat go dry. There was an urge to bite those moist, tender lips—but she had always been one to restrain herself. She didn’t let it show, though her body instinctively leaned back… until it bumped into the wall of the carriage. Su Qiuqiu’s grin deepened—she thought Lu Fangting was shy.
Looking into Su Qiuqiu’s playful eyes, Lu Fangting felt speechless. She had seen much of the world, yet she was at a loss before this little girl. She was about to speak, to ease the tension, when the carriage suddenly jolted.
Su Qiuqiu fell forward due to the momentum, pressing the already close pair together until their lips met.
Lu Fangting’s body was naturally cool, and her lips too carried a chill. Su Qiuqiu’s lips were warm, soft, and a little plump—despite their small size. The contrast between heat and cold, soft and firm, like fire meeting ice, left both of them flushed.
To Su Qiuqiu, it was like tasting chilled jelly; to Lu Fangting, like biting into warm, sweet tofu infused with milk.
Lu Fangting tasted just a hint of the flavor she’d been tempted by. A slight dizziness overcame her, her throat drier than ever. She wanted more—more of that taste. Her hand clenched into a fist, then relaxed, before finally grasping Su Qiuqiu’s shoulder.
Su Qiuqiu’s eyes widened as she stared into Lu Fangting’s face, now inches from her own. Her heart pounded uncontrollably. Her body trembled. Lu Fangting’s scent was intoxicating. She wanted to deepen the kiss, to do something more. Lu Fangting’s hand was already on her shoulder.
Should she back away? No way. This was too rare of a chance to pass up.
After a brief, 0.01-second struggle, Su Qiuqiu shut her eyes with resolve and, wearing the spirit of a fearless warrior, leaned up and once again pressed herself into Lu Fangting’s embrace, wrapping her arms around her.
Although Su Qiuqiu had seen people kissing on TV, this was the first time she was experiencing it herself. Clinging to Lu Fangting, she didn’t quite know what to do—she simply sucked hard and rubbed her lips clumsily against hers.
“Shiziye, we’ve arrived—” came Uncle Fu’s deep voice from outside the carriage, just as Su Qiuqiu was about to get a taste of something more.
“Ah—we’ve arrived… we’re here; let’s get off.” Su Qiuqiu jumped back in shock and stammered, only to see Lu Fangting’s face flushed red, a sheen of sweat forming on her forehead. This time, she was truly frightened.
“What’s wrong?” Su Qiuqiu couldn’t help but ask, her shyness forgotten.
“I’m fine… just a little hot. Let’s get out,” Lu Fangting replied hoarsely, her eyes lowered. She hadn’t expected it to be so difficult to restrain herself. Just that brief moment, and her whole body had broken into a sweat.
“Ahem, it really is a bit hot in here…” Su Qiuqiu’s face was burning, her ears tingling. She fanned herself with a handkerchief, then used it to wipe Lu Fangting’s forehead, helping her fasten her cloak before supporting her out of the carriage.
Neither of them mentioned the accidental kiss again. They stepped down from the carriage, and Su Qiuqiu led Lu Fangting into the residence.
“Sister, I’ll ask the maids to prepare hot water. You should take a bath and get some rest…” The sky had already darkened. Though it wasn’t quite time for bathing and sleep, Lu Fangting had broken out in a sweat, and Su Qiuqiu felt she needed to clear her own mind as well.
Lu Fangting nodded. Su Qiuqiu, pretending to be calm, gave instructions to the maids. She didn’t dare look at Lu Fangting directly and silently helped her change out of her outer garments, assisted her in bathing, and then guided her into her nightclothes and onto the bed.
While bathing, Su Qiuqiu rubbed her cheeks with both hands, spacing out as she recalled the taste of Lu Fangting’s lips. Her face grew hotter with every second.
At the same time, she felt a sense of frustration. Too timid! At this rate, how am I going to make anything happen? Lu Fangting was a woman of the old times, sheltered in her home and brought up on strict teachings about propriety and harmony. How could she possibly compete with someone like Su Qiuqiu—who had been sure of her orientation since her teens, seen countless beauties, and consumed her fair share of spicy media?
If I don’t take the lead, she thought bitterly, then we’ll stay stuck in this ‘dear sister’ act forever, our friendship eternal and passion nonexistent!
Su Qiuqiu was certain that she truly liked Lu Fangting. From the moment she learned Lu Fangting was a woman, she had been drawn to her beauty, captivated by her figure, and then deeply moved by her talent and character. She pitied her difficult upbringing, felt tender toward her frailty, and admired her fighting spirit — all of these feelings were resolute and unwavering.
Lu Fangting had a kind heart. Before marriage, she helped Su Qiuqiu gain the status of a county lady. Even when the princess pressed her harshly, Lu Fangting, despite her illness, stood up for her, defending her. At the marquis’ residence, she protected Su Qiuqiu without a hint of disdain, even knowing she was a concubine’s daughter. Her gentle, harmless personality made her look so fragile that anyone would want to protect her carefully.
Su Qiuqiu was willing to protect Lu Fangting and work hard for her.
When Lu Fangting had once spoken of helping her find a suitable husband, Su Qiuqiu felt both heartbroken and frustrated. Heartbroken because Lu Fangting worried about her illness and the limited time she might have left; frustrated because Lu Fangting wanted to push her toward another man — how could that be possible?
“I can’t be so timid anymore!” Su Qiuqiu clenched her small fists tightly. She wanted to tell Lu Fangting her true feelings. Every moment they had was precious.
After finishing her bath, Su Qiuqiu dried her hair, sent the maid away, and then climbed onto the bed. But unlike before, she didn’t crawl into bed beside Lu Fangting. Instead, she stopped there, placing her hands on either side of Lu Fangting’s head, supporting her body as she looked steadily into her eyes.
“The weather’s still cool. Make sure you’re covered well…” Lu Fangting was lost in thought. Seeing Su Qiuqiu dressed so lightly right in front of her, she was momentarily stunned.
Su Qiuqiu parted her lips, wanting to confess her feelings sincerely. But looking at Lu Fangting, words failed her. So instead, she slipped under the covers, pulling them up to cover them both completely.
“Sister… actually, actually… I want us to be just like now…” In the darkness, Su Qiuqiu blushed and whispered, her hand reaching out, touching Lu Fangting’s face, sliding all the way to her lips.
“Like just now?” Lu Fangting asked softly. Su Qiuqiu said nothing but leaned down and kissed her. It was a cautious kiss, filled with exploration; her lips sucked gently at Lu Fangting’s, her tongue slipping out to lightly trace the edges of her mouth, from outside the lips to the teeth, then into the gaps between teeth, awkwardly trying to deepen the kiss.
Lu Fangting stiffened. She had never expected Su Qiuqiu to kiss her again. The soft kiss made her feel ticklish, and she wanted to kiss back fiercely.
“Sister, I really like kissing you like this… do you like it?” Su Qiuqiu kissed a few more times, growing a little dizzy, her body softening. Worried she might fall on Lu Fangting, she braced herself with her hands, then softly whispered by her ear.
“Do you feel uncomfortable like this? Do you not like it?” Su Qiuqiu lowered her eyes, pouting, hearing only Lu Fangting’s breath and no reply.
“No, I… I like it…” Lu Fangting heard the plaintive tone and moved her lips, finally speaking. The words were difficult, her voice trembling. Yes, she liked it, liked it deeply — the taste of her…
How could this be?!
“Really?” Su Qiuqiu’s disappointment vanished instantly, replaced by excitement as she asked.
“I like it,” Lu Fangting said again.
After confirming, Su Qiuqiu kissed her once more, more skillfully this time. She sucked on Lu Fangting’s upper and lower lips, her tongue prying open Lu Fangting’s mouth to greet her tongue inside.
Their saliva mingled, carrying a sweet flavor.
Lu Fangting felt Su Qiuqiu’s soft lips, breathed in her warm breath, and closed her eyes to savor it.
Yes, she liked it. She had never known such a delicious feeling in this world…
Gradually, Lu Fangting moved her lips to respond to Su Qiuqiu’s kiss. Su Qiuqiu grew even more excited, but her strength faltered. Her arms could no longer support her body, which softened completely, her bones unable to hold her up.
Su Qiuqiu had no choice but to break the kiss and lie down sideways.
Lu Fangting hadn’t had enough of the kiss yet, so when Su Qiuqiu pulled away, she felt a sense of loss. But then Su Qiuqiu pressed close again, her lips meeting Lu Fangting’s once more, instantly bringing joy.
Having spent months recovering, Su Qiuqiu had grown a few centimeters taller and filled out more, making her even softer and more comfortable to hold than before. Lu Fangting wrapped her arms around Su Qiuqiu’s warm body and felt herself growing hotter too.
“Sister, this is how much I like you. I want to kiss you, be close to you, and grow old with you…” After a long kiss, Su Qiuqiu whispered softly by Lu Fangting’s ear.
“I’ve never liked men. Even without you, I would never marry a man… I’m grateful to Heaven for letting me meet you, to marry you, my sister… I promise I will find the best doctors and the best medicine to cure you…” Su Qiuqiu continued, pouring out everything she wanted to say in the darkness, breath warm and fervent.
Listening to Su Qiuqiu’s words, something stirred violently in Lu Fangting’s chest. She had once been puzzled by Su Qiuqiu’s strange behavior and doubted her feelings, but never imagined Su Qiuqiu liked her — not just a simple fondness, but…
What surprised her even more was that she herself felt no resistance to Su Qiuqiu, neither to her affection nor to her touch. Hearing such clear words brought an unexpected joy to her heart.
