The Princess Who Married The Crown Prince(GL) - Chapter 33
“Sister,” Su Qiuqiu whispered in Lu Fangting’s ear after pouring out her heart, “men are no good, really. What good is a father who takes so many wives and concubines? I’m far more reliable than any man. I can earn money—lots and lots of money—for you to spend. I’ll give you the best of everything I have… I’ll shower you with all my love… Will you like me?”
Lu Fangting controlled her breathing, remaining silent. She felt Su Qiuqiu’s sincerity but couldn’t reciprocate with the same fervor. Su Qiuqiu’s kiss shattered the protective shell around her heart and unleashed a flood of unfamiliar sensations.
“Sister, I want to kiss you again…” Su Qiuqiu murmured softly, undeterred by Lu Fangting’s silence. She exhaled warmly near her ear, her breath tickling the skin.
This needs to be taken slowly, Su Qiuqiu thought. I’ve already made my confession, and I plan to smother her with kisses until she becomes as vulnerable as a mosquito. Besides, she doesn’t reject me… she even said she likes me…
Su Qiuqiu kissed Lu Fangting, starting from her ear and cheek before finally reaching her lips. Her soft, slick tongue slipped effortlessly into Lu Fangting’s mouth, exploring its depths, teasing Lu Fangting’s lips until it responded. The two tongues danced together, entwined and rubbing against each other, causing the corners of Lu Fangting’s lips to curve upward.
Lu Fangting’s response was slow and deliberate, like a predator savoring its prey, or perhaps like someone resisting temptation, cautiously testing the delicacy for poison. But even this restrained reciprocation was enough to ignite Su Qiuqiu’s passion further. The two kissed relentlessly, their lips locked in a fervent embrace.
Already flushed from their earlier kisses, the warmth under the quilt intensified the heat. Before long, both were drenched in sweat, the bedding damp and sweltering, their mingled scents filling the air.
Oblivious to their discomfort, Su Qiuqiu, like a child who had just tasted sugar for the first time, couldn’t resist kissing Lu Fangting again and again, savoring the taste of her mouth. She warmed Lu Fangting’s slightly cool lips until they were flushed and feverish, her tongue thoroughly exploring every corner of her mouth.
Lu Fangting didn’t make any sudden movements. While she found the situation absurd, she still harbored reservations about Su Qiuqiu and remained cautious. Her affection for Qiuqiu and the pleasure of their kisses didn’t make her impulsive. Instead, she allowed the bl00d to surge through her veins, releasing only the tiniest of responses—a trickle that only fueled the growing tension.
Su Qiuqiu, on the other hand, reveled in the kisses purely out of affection for such intimacy. She found them sweet and delightful, her body feeling nothing beyond a pleasant softness. Lu Fangting, however, was different. Having passed twenty, her body was fully matured. At first, Qiuqiu’s soft embraces and kisses were manageable, but gradually, her body began to react. Certain areas grew increasingly damp and hot, and her hands struggled to remain still, yearning to caress Qiuqiu’s skin, to peel away her clothes, and to touch more of her.
“Mmm…” After a long kiss, Su Qiuqiu noticed the salty taste of sweat and finally pulled away from Lu Fangting’s lips. Strands of their mixed saliva clung together as they parted, leaving a lingering wetness on Qiuqiu’s lips.
“Sister…” Su Qiuqiu murmured, throwing back the covers and gazing at Lu Fangting. She wanted to say something, but Lu Fangting’s appearance left her speechless.
Lu Fangting’s face was flushed crimson, her lips a luscious, dewy red, glistening with moisture. At the corners of her mouth, a wet sheen hinted at their passionate kisses, reflecting the light. Her phoenix eyes were hazy, and a delicate pink blush haloed them, radiating a breathtaking allure that made Su Qiuqiu yearn to kiss her again.
“Sister, you’re drenched in sweat. You’ll catch a cold easily. I’ll have the maid prepare a bath,” Su Qiuqiu said, restraining herself as she noticed Lu Fangting’s damp hair.
“Put on your robe…” Lu Fangting murmured as Su Qiuqiu rose.
“Mm-hmm…” Su Qiuqiu replied, her heart swelling with inexplicable sweetness at Lu Fangting’s words. She smiled at her, slipped on her robe, and went downstairs to instruct the maid to prepare both bathwater and a midnight snack.
Su Qiuqiu helped Lu Fangting to the bath. Lu Fangting had bathed earlier, but she wasn’t wearing any undergarments beneath her robe, her skin exposed as she settled into the tub. Su Qiuqiu stayed outside, gently splashing water on her back and meticulously washing her with gentle care. Lu Fangting kept her gaze lowered, rarely meeting Su Qiuqiu’s eyes.
After her bath, Lu Fangting left first, and Su Qiuqiu quickly washed in the remaining water, dried herself, and went to their room to join Lu Fangting for a midnight snack.
Su Qiuqiu’s eyes sparkled with amusement as she watched Lu Fangting take dainty, elegant bites. She found her utterly captivating, almost edible. She couldn’t wait to kiss her again, and she secretly longed to touch her, to explore her hidden secrets. But she didn’t dare to act, fearing that it might scare her away. Surely, the kisses they had shared today were enough…
Su Qiuqiu made up excuses for herself, continuing to eat while stealing glances at Lu Fangting.
Lu Fangting, with her eyes lowered, could feel Su Qiuqiu’s intense eyes. She didn’t know how to meet her eyes, so she kept her head down, avoiding her gaze. How had this child become so familiar, so intimate with her? And why couldn’t she muster even a hint of aversion?
After they finished eating and rinsed their mouths, Su Qiuqiu and Lu Fangting slipped into bed. Su Qiuqiu instinctively snuggled close, her dark, lustrous eyes fixed on Lu Fangting.
“Sister, you’re so beautiful. I really like you…” Su Qiuqiu murmured softly while kissing Lu Fangting’s lips. Her eyes crinkled with an irrepressible smile as she nestled into Lu Fangting’s embrace.
Lu Fangting breathed slowly, holding herself still, afraid that any sudden movement might cause her to lose control. Su Qiuqiu had been restless all day, and her still-growing body needed plenty of sleep. Despite her earlier excitement, exhaustion had finally overtaken her, and she quickly drifted into a deep slumber.
Lu Fangting remained awake. Once Su Qiuqiu’s breathing settled into a steady rhythm, she opened her eyes and leaned closer to observe her.
Asleep, Su Qiuqiu shed her earlier dazed expression, appearing as pure and innocent as a newborn. Her fair skin practically begged to be kissed. Her delicate features, framed by elegant eyebrows and eyes, hinted at a captivating allure, like a peony bud on the verge of blooming, exuding a fragrant temptation.
Lu Fangting retrieved a small white porcelain bottle from the bedside table. She uncorked it and held it beneath Su Qiuqiu’s nose for a moment before recapping it. Su Qiuqiu’s breathing deepened further.
Lu Fangting’s slender fingers traced the delicate curve of Su Qiuqiu’s cheek, finally settling on her lips. Her thumb gently stroked their softness. The simple touch, combined with the sight of her sleeping form, stirred an irresistible urge to kiss her.
Now that Su Qiuqiu was in a deep sleep induced by the medicine, Lu Fangting felt no restraint. She lowered her head and kissed Su Qiuqiu’s lips, mimicking the way Su Qiuqiu had kissed her earlier, sucking and grinding while her tongue slipped into her mouth.
Su Qiuqiu was fast asleep, unable to open her mouth voluntarily. Lu Fangting pinched her chin and pried open her teeth with her tongue, slowly savoring the taste within. The taste utterly captivated her, and her kiss grew more intense, as if she couldn’t get enough, plunging deep into Su Qiuqiu’s mouth until a soft moan escaped her lips.
Lu Fangting suddenly snapped back to reality. Yet, that faint moan sent shivers down her spine, igniting a burning desire within her. Gazing at the still-sleeping Su Qiuqiu, Lu Fangting kissed her again, just as fiercely, as if determined to devour her completely. Each kiss forced another moan from Su Qiuqiu, fueling Lu Fangting’s ardor.
She had never been so obsessed with anything before, driven by an almost maddening urge to touch, taste, feel, hear, see, and smell… everything about Su Qiuqiu.
Her senses were overwhelmed, her body electrified. Without conscious thought, her hands had already untied the sash of Su Qiuqiu’s sleeping robe, finding their way to her soft, delicate skin. Even when Lu Fangting had personally bathed Su Qiuqiu before, she hadn’t felt this way. Now, merely touching a small patch of her skin sent tremors through her body, leaving her craving more.
Su Qiuqiu had gained some weight, and as a result of her tireless efforts, her previously flat chest had developed slightly. Though still small compared to Lu Fangting’s, it was undeniably charming. When Lu Fangting touched it, the soft, warm feel was unexpectedly pleasant, and she couldn’t help but gently squeeze the small mound again and again.
Lu Fangting had initially thought that acting out her daytime fantasies with Su Qiuqiu awake would quell her desire. Instead, each kiss and caress only intensified his inner turmoil. Her breathing grew heavy, and her body felt stiflingly hot, like a dormant volcano on the verge of eruption. Her movements grew increasingly forceful, leaving red marks on Su Qiuqiu’s pale skin. Only when her whimpers turned into tearful sobs did Lu Fangting finally stop.
“It hurts…” Su Qiuqiu pouted, letting out a soft whine.
Lu Fangting exhaled deeply and pulled away from Su Qiuqiu. Her clothes were half-undone, revealing several red marks on her skin, like plum blossoms scattered across snow. Her throat tightened with renewed desire, and she desperately wanted to pounce on her again. But seeing her furrowed brow and downturned lips, she ultimately restrained herself. She gently redressed her, tucked her under the covers, and stroked her hair until her expression relaxed before rising to leave.
Unable to sleep, her restless heart refused to quiet. Lu Fangting needed to find something to occupy her mind.
Donning dark night attire and veiling her face, she quietly slipped out of the Prince’s Manor.
At the Third Prince’s Residence in the Capital, Lu Fangting, now disguised as a black-clad figure, moved through the grounds as if she were invisible. She soon paused outside the Third Prince’s study, listening intently.
“Father’s health continues to deteriorate, yet the Crown Prince remains unappointed. As the son of the Late Empress and raised by the Empress Dowager, I should naturally be the most qualified for the position. Yet Father favors the Second Brother above all others, showering him with affection and repeatedly praising Fifth Brother’s talent for governance. He also frequently supports Fourth and Sixth Brothers, assigning them lucrative posts. I can’t fathom his intentions,” the Third Prince’s voice carried from within.
“Your Highness needn’t fret,” a deep male voice replied. “The current Empress has only one daughter. By birthright, you are the true heir apparent, your status far surpassing theirs. Remain calm, diligently complete each task His Majesty entrusts to you, and seize every opportunity to demonstrate your filial devotion. Ensure the Emperor recognizes you as his most devoted son.”
“I understand the logic, yet an inexplicable unease and restlessness persist, gnawing at me,” the Third Prince confessed.
“The Emperor is balancing power by treating the princes from prominent families well. He’s observing them while signaling that he can grant them many things, provided they prove their worth. With Lord Zhao already in the Ministry of Revenue and Lord Li in the Ministry of Personnel, Your Highness, your influence remains limited. It’s not enough. We need to cultivate more allies. My suggestion…” The deep male voice calmly analyzed.
Lu Fangting listened quietly, motionless. Some time passed before the man finally emerged from the study.
Two women waited not far from the study. One, lavishly dressed, eagerly peered down the corridor. The other, dressed as a maidservant and carrying a food box and a lantern, was Su Ruofeng, accompanied by her dowry maid. Upon seeing Third Prince Gong Xichao leave, Su Ruofeng stepped forward to curtsy.
“Your Highness, knowing your duties keep you occupied, I specially prepared bird’s nest porridge for you. Your Highness, you…” Su Ruofeng began earnestly.
“Who told you to come here? Get out!” Gong Xichao spat, his face twisted with disgust at the sight of Su Ruofeng.
“This humble consort only wished to show concern for Your Highness…” Su Ruofeng replied, her voice trembling with hurt.
“Leave the food box and return to your quarters. Curfew has already begun. If this happens again, you’ll face household discipline.” Gong Xichao’s eyes still burned with loathing and annoyance as he glanced at the food box she carried.
Su Ruofeng wanted to say something but ultimately didn’t dare. She left the food box behind and quickly departed with her maid.
“Take this food box to Imperial Physician Wang for inspection,” Gong Xichao instructed his attendant after Su Ruofeng had left.
The attendant obeyed, carrying the food box away. Gong Xichao narrowed his eyes, clenched his fist, and found the dark mood on his face impossible to shake off.
He couldn’t understand it himself. Ever since the new year, he had been unable to perform sexually. Each time he felt his condition had improved, a single visit to Su Ruofeng would render him impotent again the next day. Such behavior had fueled his intense disgust for her. Seeing her arrive with the food box today, he couldn’t help but suspect her, even though it seemed unlikely. Still, he decided to have it checked just in case.
After Gong Xichao left, Lu Fangting, disguised as a black-clad figure, stealthily followed the attendant carrying the food box.
Lu Fangting would not let anyone who had harmed Su Qiuqiu escape justice. Let them fight among themselves…
