Master, Please Help Me Break the Love Curse! - Chapter 36
The red-eyed woman seized Luo Jiu, flipped her over, and pinned her to the stone bed.
Their long black hair intertwined like rivers merging under the moonlight. Luo Jiu gripped Shang Qianye’s robes, trying to resist, but when she saw the bandages peeking out from the collar, her grip involuntarily loosened.
Shang Qianye noticed the change in Luo Jiu’s grip. A mischievous smile curled her lips as she tugged at her collar, revealing more of the bandages.
“Master, are you worried about me?” Shang Qianye whispered seductively, her voice soft and coaxing. “Actually, my wounds still hurt. Master, why don’t you touch them?”
Shang Qianye seized Luo Jiu’s hand and pressed it firmly against the bandages. Luo Jiu didn’t dare apply any pressure, glaring at the woman before her and snapping, “If it hurts, stop moving! I won’t heal you if you tear them open again.”
Shang Qianye’s eyes curved into crescents. “Master is right. I won’t move at all tonight.”
Luo Jiu: “?”
Why did she have such a bad feeling about this?
As expected, the moment Shang Qianye finished speaking, she flipped Luo Jiu over, sending her spinning. Before she knew it, Luo Jiu found herself straddling Shang Qianye’s waist.
Luo Jiu’s hands hovered uncertainly over Shang Qianye’s abdomen, her gaze blank as she stared down at the woman beneath her.
“I’m injured and can’t move,” Shang Qianye said, her hand sliding up Luo Jiu’s waist from below. She smiled. “Tonight, I’ll trouble Master to take the initiative and undress for me.”
Luo Jiu’s eyes widened, her expression one of utter disbelief. “What did you say?”
Shang Qianye continued, “I want to see Master sitting on me, moving of her own accord. I want to see Master touching herself. Most of all, I want to hear Master call my name, breathless and lost in passion…”
Startled by these words, Luo Jiu immediately clamped her hand over Shang Qianye’s mouth.
“What nonsense are you spouting!” Luo Jiu’s face flushed crimson and then paled, her emotions laid bare under the moonlight.
She knew exactly what Shang Qianye intended to make her do.
After all, this wasn’t the first time she’d encountered this side of Shang Qianye. Luo Jiu understood just how wicked the woman’s mind could be.
But the thought of sitting on Shang Qianye and moving of her own accord… it was simply too much to bear.
Perhaps Luo Jiu’s inner turmoil was too obvious. Shang Qianye’s crimson eyes locked onto her, but she didn’t press the matter. Instead, her hands roamed restlessly over Luo Jiu’s waist, hips, and thighs, gliding like a snake across her entire body.
“Master doesn’t want to?” Shang Qianye tilted her head to look at Luo Jiu, gently tugging at her sash. “Since Master won’t take it off herself,” she said with feigned reluctance, “I’ll have to do it myself. But you know, if I try to remove it, my wounds will probably tear open.”
“I wouldn’t mind being covered in bl00d while making love to you, but I’m worried my body won’t hold out until the end.”
Shang Qianye chuckled playfully. “Still, dying in Master’s bed would be a rather beautiful end.”
Luo Jiu glared at her fiercely before giving up entirely. She slapped away Shang Qianye’s hand, which was still hooked on her sash, and gritted her teeth. “Don’t move. I’ll take it off.”
As Luo Jiu shed her robes one by one, revealing her snow-white neck and rounded shoulders, Shang Qianye’s eyes remained fixed on her.
She reached out to touch Luo Jiu’s warm skin, her fingers tracing every inch, causing Luo Jiu’s skin to tremble slightly.
Whether from cold or fear, Luo Jiu kept her eyes closed, afraid to meet Shang Qianye’s gaze, lest she see her own disheveled reflection in those eyes.
The process of removing the love gu was long and agonizing.
Even lying motionless in bed, Shang Qianye could still bring Luo Jiu pleasure.
After a night of torment, the love gu was finally purged. Luo Jiu immediately collapsed from exhaustion, nearly fainting.
It wasn’t just fatigue; it was also the shock of experiencing such intimacy for the first time. Luo Jiu couldn’t quite process it. After lying down, she closed her eyes and refused to open them again.
Shang Qianye, however, woke up early.
Memories of the previous night flooded her mind. She remembered Luo Jiu sitting in her lap, her face flushed crimson, and how she had guided Luo Jiu’s hand, teaching her to explore pleasure.
She also recalled the words of praise she had spoken to Luo Jiu:
Master is so skilled, making such a mess everywhere.
How had Luo Jiu responded?
She seemed to be keeping her eyes tightly shut, stubbornly refusing to open them.
Despite recalling all this, Shang Qianye felt a strange unease in her heart.
The person from last night wasn’t her; how could she feel satisfied?
Turning her head, Shang Qianye gazed at Luo Jiu, who was sleeping with her back turned. The unease in her heart grew stronger, harder to suppress.
This was her Master, the person she loved.
How could she have done such things with someone else?
Even if that someone was her Heart Demon, it was still unacceptable!
“Master…”
Shang Qianye leaned closer, wrapping her arms around Luo Jiu’s waist and gently shaking her awake.
Luo Jiu’s eyes fluttered open, half-conscious. Seeing Shang Qianye in her vision, she recognized it was her and tried to drift back to sleep, wanting nothing to do with her.
But Qianye, now in her dark form, held Luo Jiu close, pressing her face against her shoulder and whining pitifully.
“Master, that person yesterday wasn’t me.”
Luo Jiu frowned deeply, refusing to open her eyes or respond.
Seeing her lack of reaction, Shang Qianye continued in a low voice, “I’ve been so busy these past few days that I forgot. She just came out like that. None of what happened yesterday was my true intention.”
Luo Jiu remained silent.
“I’m angry too, Master,” Shang Qianye whispered. “Those expressions of yours should only be for me to see.” Her gaze drifted downward, settling on the marks on Luo Jiu’s shoulder and chest. She lowered her head, repeatedly pressing her lips against each mark, leaving fresh imprints.
“As I said, today I’ll be the one to tease you.”
Shang Qianye’s sleepiness was purely feigned. Luo Jiu raised her foot to kick her under the covers, but Shang Qianye took the blow without flinching, her eyes filled with mock resentment. “I can’t show favoritism,” she murmured.
Favoritism, my ass!
Is that even how you use the word?!
“D-don’t mess with me!”
Luo Jiu couldn’t fathom Shang Qianye’s sudden jealousy. Despite her injuries, Shang Qianye insisted on getting intimate with her.
Luo Jiu wrapped her legs around Shang Qianye’s waist, wanting to push her away but afraid to use too much force. Exhausted and drowsy, she inadvertently allowed the woman to take advantage of her again.
Biting her lip, Luo Jiu eventually lacked even the energy to roll her eyes at Shang Qianye. Dazed and limp, she let the other woman explore her body, covering up the marks from the previous night.
By sunrise, Luo Jiu was completely drained, and Shang Qianye finally released her.
Luo Jiu couldn’t remember how she fell asleep. All she knew was that when she woke up, it was already dusk—she had slept for an entire day and night.
Even an ox wouldn’t plow the fields this hard!
The stone bed was a mess, and upon closer inspection, faint crimson stains of unknown origin could be seen.
Luo Jiu immediately recalled Shang Qianye’s words from the previous night, spoken with crimson eyes, and then remembered the jealous remarks Shang Qianye had made that morning with her black eyes. Furious, she burrowed under the covers and shouted toward the cave entrance, “Shang Qianye!”
Where the hell are you?!
Luo Jiu’s voice, as strained as her body after a night of exertion, came out slightly hoarse, but the anger in her tone was unmistakable. Footsteps soon echoed outside the cave, and Shang Qianye entered, bandages clutched in her hand.
“Master?” Shang Qianye asked. “Did you call me?”
Luo Jiu’s eyes widened. Shang Qianye’s chest and abdomen were stained dark red with bl00d, as if she had been tending to her wounds when Luo Jiu’s call interrupted her. A stream of bl00d trickled down Shang Qianye’s shoulder, but she seemed oblivious, her bright black eyes fixed intently on Luo Jiu.
The intensity of Shang Qianye’s gaze made Luo Jiu feel inexplicably uneasy.
Forget it, forget it.
It was just a Gu removal ritual, after all. Being taken advantage of wasn’t exactly a new experience. This time had been a bit excessive, but Shang Qianye was already so badly injured. She couldn’t possibly beat her up again, could she?
What if I accidentally kill her?
Luo Jiu’s face flushed crimson, then paled to green before finally settling into a reluctant truce with herself. She turned her head and sighed, saying, “Your shoulder is bleeding.”
Shang Qianye finally reacted, noticing the newly reopened wound on her shoulder. She frowned in concern. “This area is hard to bandage properly,” she said. “It keeps splitting open whenever I move.”
Luo Jiu stared in disbelief. Is she trying to seduce me again?! Dream on!
Shang Qianye sat on a stone bench, Luo Jiu behind her in a thin robe, looking displeased as she applied medicine to the wound.
Perhaps she had applied the medicine too forcefully. The moment the white powder touched the raw flesh, Shang Qianye gasped sharply in pain, turning her head slowly to look at Luo Jiu. “Master,” she whispered, “it hurts.”
Luo Jiu rolled her eyes. “Now it hurts? You weren’t exactly holding back earlier, were you?”
The words hung in the air, leaving both women stunned.
Especially Luo Jiu. She had blurted it out instinctively, only realizing what she had said afterward. Her face flushed crimson, and she angrily dumped two more handfuls of medicine onto the wound. “Serves you right for being such a pain.”
Shang Qianye chuckled through her gasps of pain, sounding like a wheezing bellows.
By the time the wound was bandaged, night had completely fallen.
Luo Jiu stood at the cave entrance, frowning as she surveyed the darkness outside. She hadn’t reinforced the barrier all day. She needed to check on it, if not to catch up on her duties, then at least to repair the sections that were on the verge of collapsing.
“I’m going out for a bit. You can stay here and rest.”
Luo Jiu grabbed a robe and slipped it on. Although only she and Shang Qianye were currently within the Barrier, she still preferred not to dress too casually.
Shang Qianye looked up at her words. Noticing Luo Jiu was wearing the wrong robe, she didn’t point it out. Instead, she rose, picked up a sash, and came to Luo Jiu. Wrapping her arms around Luo Jiu from behind, she casually tied the sash for her.
“I’ll come with you,” Shang Qianye murmured, resting her chin on Luo Jiu’s shoulder as she slowly fastened the sash around Luo Jiu’s waist. “It’s too dark for Master to go out alone. I’m worried.”
“I could make the trip back and forth with my eyes closed. What’s there to worry about?” Luo Jiu rolled up the sleeves of the robe, only then realizing she’d put on the wrong one. But she made no move to take it off, instead leaning back into Shang Qianye’s embrace and saying weakly, “I’ll just take a quick look around and be right back. You don’t need to follow me around like a shadow.”
With that, Luo Jiu tried to push Shang Qianye away, but the other woman clung to her back like a stubborn patch.
“No,” Shang Qianye said, her arms tightening around Luo Jiu’s waist, a smile playing on her lips. “I want to go out with Master.”
