Synopsis:

Shen Shuangjing had transmigrated into a novel.

The air was thick with the fragrant steam of tea. Across the table sat a woman of captivating beauty, her skin as pale as snow. A delicate purple bellflower tattoo circled her slender wrist, its alluring glow drawing the eye.

The woman’s lips curved into a slight smile, her fox-like eyes, seasoned with experience, tilted upward, their gaze languid and indifferent. “One million,” she said casually. “Marry me.”

Memories flooded back. The woman was the Villainous Shadow Queen from the Phoenix Pride Heaven genre, seeking a cannon fodder substitute to enter a year-long contractual marriage.

The substitute, arrogant and foolish, harbored delusions of grandeur. When the Villainous Shadow Queen’s true love, her White Moonlight, returned to the country, the substitute refused to divorce, instead clinging desperately to the Villainous Shadow Queen and repeatedly framing the White Moonlight.

In the end, the Villainous Shadow Queen had her thrown into the Arctic Ocean to feed the sharks.

Shen Shuangjing, the future shark snack, thought:

She signed the marriage certificate on the spot. Delaying even a second would have been disrespectful to money.

Sang Baili, born into a wealthy family, was the youngest Best Actress winner at the Golden Elephant Awards. Her beautiful, expressive face seemed to radiate passion and spontaneity, yet beneath the surface lay a cold indifference that left countless admirers, both men and women, rebuffed.

After moving in with her, Shen Shuangjing constantly reminded herself of the original owner’s tragic fate. Facing the breathtaking beauty, she remained calm and detached, never initiating any advances. But why was the Villainous Shadow Queen, who had promised to respect their boundaries, looking at her with increasingly strange eyes?

Not only that, but Sang Baili would touch her abs, feed her cake with the same fork, and even hide in her arms, whispering, “I’m scared to sleep alone at night.”

Shen Shuangjing, flustered and blushing daily, finally snapped during a rehearsal. Facing the Shadow Queen’s arched brows and crimson lips as she demanded a kiss scene, she retorted, “That’s extra!”

Sang Baili’s eyes shimmered with amusement, well aware of the younger woman’s mercenary nature. She waved her phone, showing a transfer notification, and asked with a gentle, intoxicating smile, “Jingjing, is this enough?”

Shen Shuangjing (flustered and blushing): “I can do pure-hearted, scheming, flirtatious, or even a little devilish. Which type do you want, Sis?”

Adults don’t choose.

Sang Baili leaned in and kissed the small, scarlet mole at the tip of Shen Shuangjing’s upturned nose, finally getting what she wanted.

By the time the White Moonlight returned home and the marriage contract expired, Shen Shuangjing had already packed her bags to leave. Sang Baili rushed over to stop her.

The usually composed woman was now frantic, her eyes glistening with tears like dew on rouge-stained petals. She gripped Shen Shuangjing’s wrist and pleaded in a hoarse whisper, “Jingjing, there’s no one else, only you. Let’s tear up the contract and get married, okay?”

Shen Shuangjing: What about your supposed obsession with the White Moonlight?

After her silver screen debut, Shen Shuangjing quickly rose to become a rising star, renowned for both her stunning looks and exceptional acting skills. She was hailed as the “Top of the Lesbian Circle,” and her “shipping” fans, pairing her with various actresses, were ubiquitous throughout the entertainment industry.

When a host asked which “couple” she favored most, Shen Shuangjing simply smiled enigmatically.

The next day, variety show cameras captured a suggestive red mark on her slender neck.

The entire audience gasped.

Shen Shuangjing chuckled. “My partner at home got jealous.”

After a long silence, the Best Actress’s Weibo account resurfaced with a photo: a pair of twin blue whales tattooed on her smooth, pale back.

The intricate design was breathtakingly beautiful and deeply moving.

The caption read: “I love her.”

Note:

This is a female-lead story set in the entertainment industry, featuring a 1v1 relationship with both partners being physically and emotionally pure. The setting is a fictional world, so please do not draw parallels to real-life figures.

A pitifully optimistic, money-obsessed little sun vs. a seemingly workaholic but secretly doting and protective mature Best Actress.

This isn’t your typical White Moonlight romance. There’s no White Moonlight here—it’s all a misunderstanding on the part of the male lead. The romance is sweet, without any angst or melodrama, crafted with meticulous care.
