- Chapter 7 - Dolman’s Side – Enchantment / Protagonist’s Side ( The End)
Am I trapped in a nightmare?
No matter what I did, I couldn’t win. Even after becoming a hero, I finally managed to defeat Fudra.
Or so I thought. And yet, the three of them still loved Fudra.
Even as a hero, as a man, I felt like I had lost to him.
When I gained the “Enchantment” skill, I was ecstatic.
With this, I could finally beat Fudra.
“Enchantment” is a convenient skill. It gradually seeps into someone’s heart, making them fall for me.
That’s how it works.
“You’re a hero. You could have better women, couldn’t you?”
That’s what someone might say. But after losing to Fudra so many times, I had become obsessed with those three.
I won them over and banished Fudra. With that, I thought I had finally won.
Keeping him in the party for one more week was purely to humiliate him.
That’s all it was…
And yet… what is this?!
“Sorry, Dolman… Looks like the three of them prefer me! ‘Black Wing’ can disband now, right?” Fudra said, his tone full of mockery.
This can’t be real. Even with my enchantment skill, I couldn’t make this happen. Yet here Fudra is, kissing Elsa and Cecilia while groping their chests.
Fudra stood there, triumphant, mocking me.
So that’s it… In the face of “true love,” enchantment doesn’t stand a chance.
That’s the truth, isn’t it? I can’t bear to make myself more pathetic than I already am.
“Fine, disband it. I’ve lost. I won’t get involved with any of you again,” I said, turning and leaving the scene as quickly as I could.
“What’s with Dolman? He backed down so easily,” Fudra asked.
“Well, isn’t that fine? Hah, hah…” Cecilia replied.
“Yeah! If it ended without a fight, hah, hah, isn’t that for the best?” Isabelle added.
“Yeah, yeah. Now then…” Elsa murmured.
“Fudra, let’s do it!” the three of them said in unison.
I was the one who changed them.
The three of them no longer resemble the childhood friends I once loved.
But even so, they’re the ones I spent most of my life with.
At this rate, we’ll probably have children soon enough…
Maybe I should take responsibility and marry them. Returning to the countryside wouldn’t be so bad.
Yeah, I’m not lonely… This is fine…
