My Bloody Valentine - 5
| Episode 5
Summoning all the players from the shop to my room and choosing among them is not something one can easily do unless they have a considerable amount of money. Even in Tascenda, which is 100% membership-based, there are not many guests with such financial capabilities.
Sunwoo Hee, the deputy director of Wilhelmina Art Museum and the daughter-in-law of Daesung Group, was one of those who possessed such abilities.
Han discreetly stood at the back. In front, there were tall men ranging from 180 to 185, and with the help of insoles, Jaegu had also reached close to 180.
Finding the largest man among them and standing behind him, Han could only see the man’s back, and nothing was visible in front. On the contrary, thinking that he wouldn’t be visible from the opposite side either, it brought a bit of mental comfort.
“I don’t want to hear any lame self-introduction, so shut up. You, you, you, you. Get out.”
A charismatic female voice echoed through the room.
“You, you, you. And you, you muscle pig. You too, get out.”
Politely greeting and watching the men leave the room, Han felt a twinge of envy. At that moment, the man who had been blocking his view and protecting him stood up, bowing slightly.
Han’s eyes widened, and in an instant, with a clear view, he saw three women sitting at a giant table surrounded by rounded chairs against the wall.
Meeting the gaze of the short-haired woman in the middle among them, Han couldn’t look away. The energy emanating from her sharply lined eyes, accentuated by eyeliner, was so intense that he couldn’t tear his eyes away.
With her black pupils fixed on Han’s face, she turned her head slightly towards the manager and asked, “What’s with that one over there?”
“Sorry. It’s his first time here, and he wanted to see everyone, so I brought him.”
“….”
The silence from the short-haired woman was nerve-wracking. Han’s heart pounded faster and faster.
“Okay, that’s enough. Manager, you can go.”
“What about him?”
The manager looked at Han with a sly smile and asked the woman again.
“Just leave him here.”
“Yes. Well then, enjoy your time.”
The manager nodded politely, closed the door, and left.
In the confined space with five men, Han became uneasy, and his anxious gaze darted around, searching for Jaegu. However, Jaegu had already left at the beginning.
“What are you all waiting for? Start undressing from your pants.”
“….!”
As Han wondered if he had heard the words correctly, there were clicking sounds coming from the side. The model-like men on either side of Han were unhesitant, effortlessly undoing their belt buckles.
“Oops….”
The sharp sound involuntarily caught his breath. As if hearing the sound, the short-haired woman turned her gaze, standing stiffly, towards Han.
“Who are you?”
“….!”
“Who do you think you are, just standing there? Didn’t you hear me?”
It’s said that when a person is cornered, their hands become cold. It’s because, to escape, all the blood rushes to the legs. Han’s fingertips involuntarily shivered, growing colder.
“Ah, are you waiting for me to undress too?”
She stood up again, halfway bending her body to sit down, and looked at Han.
Since the operating hours here were quite late, most of the guests who came for a repeat visit had already put on their previous attire. As expected, her eyes were slightly bloodshot, and her pronunciation was not clear.
“Damn. Are you ignoring me too? Do you see me as a baby-making machine?”
“….?”
I don’t understand what context these words have sprung from. Is this also one of the terms used in the industry?
“What? Give birth to a son? Ha! As if I’ll do that at my own will.”
“….Yes, yes?”
“They say a son takes after his mom, so you’re worried? I don’t even think about my son being a hopeless blockhead!”
While her enraged eyes were directed at Han, she wasn’t actually looking at him. In fear, an involuntary whimper escaped Han. In the meantime, she slowly approached Han in a menacing manner.
“Undress. Aren’t you undressing?”
“I, I…”
“Are you ignoring me? You damn son of a bitch!”
The woman’s raging eyes were extremely intimidating. They were scarier than ghosts in movies.
Han’s chest began to throb larger and irregularly. It almost seemed like the construction site where he was bound earlier was less frightening.
I want to go… I want to go home… I just want to go home…
Dizziness swept over him as if his surroundings were spinning. In a semi-dazed state, Han started to retreat hesitantly.
The short-haired woman closed the distance as Han couldn’t bear it any longer. At the moment when she reached out towards Han’s neck…
Unable to endure any longer, Han turned around, opened the door, and rushed out.
A crisis of life and death, where she seemed to follow and grab his hair, was felt. Han, without knowing where he was going, ran blindly.
Calseidoni, Aquamarine, Amber, Opal, Topaz… The rooms passed by in the opposite order of the ones he had passed through earlier.
“Huh… huh…”
His breath became short rapidly. A door appeared with no writing on it, like it led to a dead-end place. Han opened the door hastily, hoping it was a restroom or a utility room.
A dim space entered his sight, and one shoe, unsuitable for running, was caught on the threshold and slipped off. Han, almost flying, collided with something hot and firm.
“Ugh! Ugh…”
His fallen knees on the floor ached. His heart was pounding as if it would burst, and his breath felt like it would tear his lungs apart. His nose, hit as if crushed by something, hurt so much that he was worried it might be broken.
“Ha… ha…”
While spitting out the breath, he raised his head when he felt like he would soon fall over. Han locked eyes with a man looking down at him.
“….!”
Suddenly, it felt like his breath was cut off. It wasn’t because of his weak body; it was as if he had forgotten how to breathe the moment his eyes met the man’s.
The man’s black eyes pierced into Han’s field of vision. They were like black holes that swallowed anything approaching them indiscriminately.
Under the long eyes without double eyelids, there was a black shadow as if eyeliner had smudged, making the man appear like the Grim Reaper, ready to swallow anything that came his way.
After a few seconds, Han finally realized the reality of his situation. Han was sitting between the man’s unfamiliar legs. The place where his face had hit was probably the man’s belly or chest.
Judging by the length of the straight calves wrapped in a soft suit fabric, one could guess that the man was not of average height.
The man’s face, seen from below, had a strong shading that made it look three-dimensional. Therefore, his dramatic appearance made him seem like a god who would save him or a devil ready to swallow him into a pit.
“Help… help me…!”
Without needing to see more, Han grabbed onto the man’s trouser legs like a lifeline. He had chosen the possibility of salvation among the two possibilities.
“Strange… I was kidnapped by strange people. Please help me! P, please report to the police!”
“….”
In response to Han’s earnest plea, the man remained silent, and a dangerous atmosphere filled the quiet room.
Han belatedly rolled his trembling eyes around, surveying the surroundings. The room, which had no name on the door, had a structure similar to the Peridot Room he had entered earlier. It was dark as all the lights were off.
The man’s gaze, looking down, seemed to be indifferent to the room. Feeling anxious, Han took a few more steps backward and once again pleaded.
“Or, just for a moment… I’ll just… I’ll stay here for a while.”
“Where? Planning to hide under my balls?”
The man’s lethargic, low-pitched voice lacked any emotion. It was a voice that was indifferent and disrespectful, as if asking about the menu in a restaurant he visited every day.
“Ah, s-sorry.”
Realizing that he was too close to the man’s private area, Han stepped back. However, at that moment, the man’s hand reached out, grabbing Han’s face firmly.
“Hik.”
A strange sound, like a whimper, burst out at the sudden movement of the man. Han’s startled eyes shook violently. The soft flesh between the man’s thumb and the other four fingers gently crumpled.
“Why… Why are you doing this?”
The man’s head, which had never left Han’s gaze, tilted slightly. It felt like his black eyes were sticking to Han’s face like a viscous liquid.
A strange sense of unease made Han’s hair stand on end. Although it was probably his imagination, he felt a burning sensation where the man’s hand had touched.
“Let go… Please, let go.”
“…”
The man’s grip tightened. It was a force that felt like it could dislocate Han’s jawbone.
Maybe I made a mistake. Could it be that I entered the tiger’s den while trying to avoid the fox?
Han’s trembling hands grabbed the man’s wrist, trying to pull it away with all his might, but the man didn’t flinch. Meanwhile, the man’s eyes remained fixed on Han.
As if bitten by fierce fangs, caught in a cunning trap, Han couldn’t escape from that gaze.
The man slowly lowered his face, and his cold gaze approached.
“Did you escape from the guest room?”
With great difficulty, a nodding motion was heard, accompanied by a terrifying sound as the skin slapped against flesh.
Thud.
It was definitely not the cute sound of ‘chirp’ heard in novels or comics. With a ‘puk’ sound, as if something had burst, Han momentarily thought he had lost his vision. The feeling of his ears becoming stuffy, as if losing hearing in one ear, was an added bonus. The pain, like being hit not on the cheek but on the entire head, spread.
Blinking rapidly to confirm whether he could see, Han gradually regained his sight. He found himself sprawled on the floor, where just a moment ago, his face had been caught in the man’s hand.
Certainly, it felt more like being hit by a fist than a palm, given the lethal force added to the robust structure of his cheekbones.
“Why… Why…”
Han’s eyes, filled with a sense of injustice, turned towards the man before fully comprehending the situation.
“Why? Don’t you know what to ask?”
Before Han’s widely opened eyes could fully grasp the situation, the man’s large hand rose again.
