My Boss Always Flirts With Me - Chapter 35
Chapter 35: Control
Teacher He, who was worried about him, was waiting for him at home.
Just thinking about it made Fang Ci feel incredibly sweet.
He quickly finished washing up and got into bed. He Chi had recently taken to sleeping with his arm around him. When his arm came over, it brushed against Fang Ci’s hair.
“Why is it still wet?”
Fang Ci said, “It was late, so I just quickly blew it dry.”
He Chi’s fingers went through his hair and found that he had been lazy. The surface was dry, but the inside was still damp. Fang Ci shrank his neck. He was very ticklish, but it wasn’t a physical tickle. It was He Chi’s gentle strokes that sent a jolt through him.
He Chi got up to get the hairdryer. Fang Ci couldn’t argue with him and was pulled back onto the bed. He wanted to turn over and lie on his stomach so He Chi could blow-dry his hair, but He Chi didn’t want him to turn his back.
Fine, since Teacher He is serving me, I’ll just listen to him.
Slowly, Fang Ci felt a little dizzy and drowsy. His head kept drooping. Fortunately, He Chi held him up.
Opening one eye in a daze, Fang Ci saw that He Chi was looking at him, from the top of his head to his lips. The gaze felt like a feather stroking him. When he realized He Chi was looking at him, his ears started to feel warm.
“Is there something on my face?” Fang Ci touched his face and asked.
The hairdryer in He Chi’s hand hummed. He paused and said, “Mm, a little bit handsome.”
This statement dumbfounded Fang Ci. Why is he suddenly saying cheesy pick-up lines out of nowhere? Is this still the Teacher He I know?
“Did you read that online?” Fang Ci asked him.
He Chi didn’t understand. “What?”
Fang Ci blinked. “The thing you just said. Those cheesy pick-up lines that were popular years ago.”
He Chi tilted his head. Fang Ci understood. It seems he didn’t learn it online. He probably would never learn cheesy pick-up lines in this lifetime.
So he asked, “If not, why did you suddenly compliment me?”
He Chi: “Wei Lin said it.”
Fang Ci didn’t expect this answer.
He Chi turned off the hairdryer and said, “He told me that after he saw you for the first time at the company.”
Fang Ci was stunned for a moment, then didn’t mind. He smiled and said casually, “Then help me thank him?”
He Chi frowned. “Have a lot of people said that before?”
Fang Ci was stumped by the question.
As for this question… if I say “yes,” will it sound a little narcissistic? In fact, he had never lacked compliments on his appearance since he was a child, but he always automatically dismissed them as just being polite.
This was the first time in over 20 years that someone had asked him so seriously. Fang Ci looked up at He Chi and said, “Well… let me think.”
“Do you really want to know?” Fang Ci couldn’t quite figure out He Chi’s train of thought.
He Chi: “Go ahead.”
Okay… Fang Ci thought about it and answered seriously, “When I was little, the aunt next door said I was handsome and wanted to introduce a wife to me. In elementary school, I stood in the first row, and the teacher said I could be the face of the class. Later, in college, I was barely considered the best-looking guy in the class.”
He Chi didn’t respond.
But answering like this was boring. Out of selfishness, Fang Ci wanted to collect some interest.
In the dead of night, people’s courage grows. He glanced at He Chi from the corner of his eye and said, “Of course, not everyone thinks I’m handsome. Some people have never said so.”
He Chi looked down at him. “Mm, who?”
Fang Ci lowered his eyes, then raised his chin to look at him again. “The person right in front of me.”
He Chi was slightly stunned and raised an eyebrow.
“Teacher He has never said it.” Fang Ci whispered. This was the truth. He wasn’t falsely accusing him.
He Chi’s hand was already resting near his ear. He bent down and used both hands. “Is it too late to make up for it now?”
Fang Ci looked at him without a word.
Tonight, He Chi seemed to be talking more than usual. His voice was like a hook, and even the air became sticky. Fang Ci was a little confused, but his heart couldn’t help but bubble with excitement.
“Teacher He, why don’t you try?”
He Chi’s expression was very serious, and his tone was gentle. He said, “You’re very handsome.”
Fang Ci used all his strength to suppress his smile and control himself from laughing. Teacher He just said I’m handsome!
Being complimented made him a little bolder. He asked, “Did you marry me because you thought I was handsome?”
He Chi: “That’s part of the reason.”
Look at what amazing thing he just asked! There was a tiny person in Fang Ci’s heart doing a happy dance.
“What else?”
“You’re also very hardworking.”
Fang Ci: “…” This evaluation standard is definitely from a boss. Maybe I should just ask him if I can get a raise and a promotion.
He Chi added, “And you’re very well-behaved.”
Fang Ci blinked. He Chi stroked his eyebrow. Fang Ci was easily charmed by Teacher He. He said, “Teacher He, you’re also very handsome.”
He Chi’s fingers had already found their way into his palm.
He Chi’s eyebrows were very handsome, and the emotions in his eyes were faint but very deep, inviting people to explore. Fang Ci was the one who was brave enough to climb that peak, wanting to leave some marks in his world.
They looked at each other for a moment, their gazes becoming heavier, intertwining with each other. He Chi asked him, “Are you tired from the party tonight?”
Fang Ci said, “Lin was more tired. I’m fine.”
He Chi: “You’re calling him Lin again?”
Fang Ci quickly corrected himself.
He Chi then asked, “What did you all do at the party?”
Fang Ci: “Mostly drinking. Wei Lin drank a lot.”
He Chi moved closer to him and asked, “Beer or fruit wine?”
Fang Ci was as obedient as he said. He answered patiently and softly, “Both. I drank more fruit wine.”
“Does it still taste like it?”
“What…?”
He Chi’s gaze was fixed on his lips. Fang Ci understood. He licked his lips with a blush and hesitated to test the waters: “Teacher He… do you want to taste it?”
He Chi’s eyes tightened. Fang Ci grabbed the bedsheet and looked up.
He Chi picked him up, and they moved to the center of the bed. His lips and tongue were captured, enduring a long friction. His hand gripping the clothes grew tighter and tighter.
As he began to gasp, He Chi said, “Don’t stay out too late with others in the future.”
Fang Ci nodded. He already knew.
He Chi’s movements continued, but the pace slowed down. Fang Ci melted into a soft puddle in his arms.
