My classmate seems to want to have s*x with me - Chapter 23
Qiu Yanzhen’s low confession was like fireworks exploding beside Ding Chen’s ear, and her heart was also affected. She tried hard to calm herself down, but her brain wouldn’t listen.
“What… what do you mean?” Ding Chen heard her own voice trembling.
Ding Chen’s reaction made Qiu Yanzhen’s hands, which were wrapped around her waist, loosen a bit. “Are you playing dumb?”
Ding Chen didn’t respond, which left Qiu Yanzhen a bit stunned. Ding Chen’s reaction was beyond her expectations. Regarding the subtle feelings between them, she couldn’t say it was a 100% certain, but it was at least 99%. She was quite sure that Ding Chen definitely had that kind of feeling for her too. Qiu Yanzhen turned Ding Chen around by the shoulders, and Ding Chen lowered her head. When she spoke again, her voice was a bit choked, “Aren’t we, aren’t we doing well like this now?”
Qiu Yanzhen quickly tried to understand Ding Chen’s meaning. She first patted Ding Chen’s head to soothe her emotions. Ding Chen tugged at Qiu Yanzhen’s clothes. Initially, she only felt a bit of a stuffy nose, but now tears were already welling up in her eyes. Qiu Yanzhen felt that they probably couldn’t clarify things right away, so she took Ding Chen to the small garden in the corner of the school.
Due to the dust and the mess nearby, this garden rarely sees visitors. However, the flowers and plants in the flowerbed are growing quite well. But the two of them have no time to admire them now. Qiu Yanzhen led Ding Chen to sit on a small bench nearby, while she squatted in front of Ding Chen.
“What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” She gently held Ding Chen’s hands and softly coaxed her, but the more she tried to comfort her, the more she cried. Qiu Yanzhen was suddenly at a loss for what to do.
Just when she didn’t know what to do, Ding Chen finally spoke up, “I’m sorry…” Qiu Yanzhen’s heart tightened, thinking she was about to be rejected, but Ding Chen continued, “I just…”
The conversation broke off again here, and Ding Chen was sobbing and unable to speak clearly. Qiu Yanzhen’s heart was in turmoil, but she patiently waited for Ding Chen to calm down and gather her thoughts.
Ding Chen cried again before she could stop the tears. She took off her glasses and wiped her face with her hand, her voice hoarse as she spoke, “When I was little, I could have dinner with my parents every day. On holidays, we would go out to play and celebrate some special occasions.” Ding Chen covered her eyes and lay on her legs, while Qiu Yanzhen retracted her hand and placed it on her knee, listening attentively to Ding Chen. “Later, they became very busy, either on business trips or coming home very late, and we hardly spoke a few words in a month.”
Ding Chen sniffed and continued, “I know they care about me a lot and treat me well. Whenever we manage to get together, our whole family is happy. But they often break promises. Every time they say they want to go out and have fun, they end up canceling at the last minute. They always say they’ll come to the parent-teacher meeting or school events to see me, but it never happens.”
Qiu Yanzhen remembered walking the dog with Ding Chen during the Qingming Festival. At that time, it was clearly a long holiday, but Ding Chen’s parents called to say they would be home late and let Ding Chen eat dinner by herself. She reached out and touched Ding Chen’s head, suddenly feeling like she didn’t really know Ding Chen that well.
“I don’t like it this way, so later I just acted as if they wouldn’t show up. That way, when they suddenly have something come up, I feel it’s only natural, and I’m even happier when they ‘suddenly’ keep their promises.” Ding Chen looked up, her eyes red and slightly moist. “I just need to focus on being happy.”
Qiu Yanzhen had also experienced missed appointments, but she didn’t know how many times one had to miss an appointment to become afraid of commitments. She also didn’t know what it felt like to go from seeing someone every day to often facing a home that was only hers. She could imagine it, but imagination is ultimately virtual; she couldn’t truly experience those feelings.
Qiu Yanzhen knelt down on both knees and cupped Ding Chen’s face, looking at her from above. “Are you happy being with me?”
Ding Chen nodded in Qiu Yanzhen’s palm, then seemed to think of something else. “Aren’t you afraid?” she asked, lowering her eyes. “What if I don’t like you anymore? Or what if I can’t satisfy what you want?”
Just like she wanted her parents’ company, but due to reality and not wanting to put them in a difficult position, she couldn’t ask for it nor blame them.
Qiu Yanzhen looked at Ding Chen’s vulnerable appearance. Although Ding Chen had just said she was afraid of one day no longer liking her or being unable to satisfy her, it could actually be seen as her fear of being abandoned one day.
“Actually, I haven’t thought that much about it. I’ll consider it again,” Qiu Yanzhen answered honestly after thinking seriously. “But I’ll try my best to prevent those things from happening. If they really do happen, I’ll try to find ways to change things, or we can work together to solve the problem.” Qiu Yanzhen struggled to find the right words to express her thoughts clearly, “Hmm… but if there’s really no way…”
Qiu Yanzhen thought hard, trying to find a perfect answer. She began to reflect on herself, wondering if it was because she had a relatively smooth life since childhood that she always felt confident things would go well. Of course, she was also afraid that Ding Chen wouldn’t like her, but it didn’t seem as serious as Ding Chen thought.
Ding Chen looked at Qiu Yanzhen, who was frowning as if solving a century-old puzzle, and for some reason, she suddenly felt like laughing. Then she couldn’t hold it in and burst into laughter.
Qiu Yanzhen looked completely confused, not knowing what Ding Chen was laughing about. Seeing her dazed expression, Ding Chen held back a laugh and explained, “It’s nothing, I just think you’re really serious.”
Qiu Yanzhen was even more confused, “Huh… aren’t you serious?”
Ding Chen really couldn’t hold back anymore. How could Qiu Yanzhen be so serious yet look like a fool at the same time?
“I’m serious, but you really…,” Ding Chen searched her mind for usable words, but she couldn’t think of anything precise. She could only describe it dryly, “…very cute.”
Qiu Yanzhen’s face turned red, a bit of embarrassment mixed with annoyance. She had thought so seriously about those questions, and yet Ding Chen was just laughing there! But seeing Ding Chen’s face, which had gone from tears to laughter, she couldn’t stay mad, and even felt like laughing herself.
The two of them smiled foolishly at each other like that, and after a while, they fell silent again. Ding Chen hesitated, unsure whether to give an answer, but for a moment, she didn’t know how to start. Perhaps noticing her hesitation, Qiu Yanzhen took the initiative to break the silence, saying, “Alright, it’s nothing.” She helped Ding Chen smooth out her somewhat messy hair, then stood up and patted her pants.
Qiu Yanzhen said nothing about her confession just now, which made Ding Chen breathe a sigh of relief. However, such tenderness made her want to cry. She followed Qiu Yanzhen closely, and just as they were about to walk out of the small garden, she grabbed the person’s hand in front of her. Before Qiu Yanzhen completely turned around, she leaned in and planted a kiss on her cheek.
Qiu Yanzhen was completely stunned in place, vaguely hearing Ding Chen mumbling something, but couldn’t make it out. “What did you say?”
Ding Chen bit her lip and raised her voice, “I said… this is a deposit…”
The air froze for three seconds, and then Ding Chen was enveloped in Qiu Yanzhen’s embrace. She heard Qiu Yanzhen sigh and murmur, “Why are you like this?”
Ding Chen held Qiu Yanzhen’s shoulder, feeling a bit at a loss, and then felt something soft and warm press against her jaw. After kissing her a few times, Qiu Yanzhen buried her face in her neck, took a deep breath, and kissed her neck again. Ding Chen’s breathing became slightly erratic; the kiss in the stairwell had already made her realize that her neck seemed to be quite sensitive. Suddenly, Qiu Yanzhen opened her mouth and gently bit the side of her neck.
“Um……”
A slight pain and itch transformed into a tingling sensation that reached the brain. Ding Chen was completely unprepared for this sudden assault and involuntarily let out a soft moan from her throat. The two of them instantly froze. Qiu Yanzhen lifted her head to look at Ding Chen, but Ding Chen was faster, lowering her head first to hide her face on Qiu Yanzhen’s shoulder.
Qiu Yanzhen’s gaze lingered on Ding Chen for just a few seconds before she continued the kiss from earlier. She always felt her impulses surging one after another, as if breaking through some kind of restraint, unstoppable. She kissed and bit at Ding Chen’s neck, one hand tracing along her spine, while the other roamed around her waist, finally gently rubbing the waist of her back.
Ding Chen gasped, the scent of Qiu Yanzhen filling her nostrils. The hands roaming her waist made her legs weak, and the occasional sharp pain at her neck nearly rendered her unable to think. Suddenly, Qiu Yanzhen stopped moving, and just as Ding Chen was about to breathe a sigh of relief, Qiu Yanzhen’s hand slipped under the hem of her clothes.
Ding Chen’s eyes widened, heat instantly rushing to her head. She quickly pressed down on Qiu Yanzhen’s hand that was holding her waist, lifted her head, and with her other hand, pushed Qiu Yanzhen’s shoulder. Her face was flushed, and she looked utterly incredulous.
Qiu Yanzhen was momentarily stunned after being stopped, and only belatedly realized that she might have gone a bit too far. A sense of shame slowly crept in, but her hand didn’t pull away from Ding Chen’s clothes.
Ding Chen’s voice was as thin as a mosquito’s buzz, “You… this is the outside…”
