My Female Python Roommate Always Wants To Eat Me. - Chapter 7
Chapter 7
Bai Fuxue observed everything that happened, and although she listened to the verbal spat between the two of them, she was very grateful that Lu Qimin had helped her solve a potential problem.
Therefore, when she heard Lu Qimin’s pointed and highly subjective remarks, she didn’t feel annoyed.
“This counts as a handsome guy? I think he’s very average.”
“A-Xue, do you think he’s handsome?”
Bai Fuxue denied it repeatedly: “No, not at all.”
Lu Qimin’s brows relaxed, and she immediately put on the gentle expression of a doting older sister when facing Bai Fuxue.
“Stay away from him from now on. He has too many ulterior motives.”
Bai Fuxue obediently agreed, “Mhm, mhm. Besides necessary work-related communication, I’ll keep my distance from him.”
Knowing that Qi Zian had a good impression of her, Bai Fuxue naturally wanted to cut off any possibility of their relationship progressing.
Hearing that Bai Fuxue completely agreed with her, Lu Qimin’s mood brightened. The annoyance caused by Qi Zian’s intentional approach was easily smoothed over by Bai Fuxue’s attitude.
If the little rabbit’s stance was firm and she gave him no chance, Qi Zian wouldn’t be able to get what he wanted.
But then she got a little worried. The little rabbit had such a good, soft personality.
What if she was just as obedient to others? What if she was tricked and taken away by someone else?
She was a naturally aggressive python. The moment she thought of the possibility of the little rabbit being taken away by someone, a boundless viciousness spread through her.
Her tongue glided around her mouth.
The sharp fangs on both sides of her mouth quietly grew. If such a situation were to truly occur, she would make the other person regret it.
In an instant, Lu Qimin reined in her cold, sharp gaze.
Her face remained calm and serene, not revealing the slightest hint of her inner thoughts.
Bai Fuxue had eaten half of the smoothie. Her stomach felt full, so she just held the rest in her hand and didn’t touch it.
She looked up at Lu Qimin curiously, “Let’s not talk about him anymore. Lu Qimin, aren’t you also training? How did you come to our class?”
Lu Qimin noticed her small action and, without a change in expression, took the smoothie. She used the same spoon Bai Fuxue had used and finished the rest of the smoothie.
Her action was so natural, as if they had been friends for many years.
Even with the prior experience of eating from the same bowl at the hotpot restaurant, Bai Fuxue was still surprised by Lu Qimin’s action.
How could Lu Qimin eat her saliva without any hesitation? Did she not find it gross at all?
In her mind, eating someone else’s leftovers was something only people with a very intimate relationship would do.
Like a father to a mother, or an uncle to an aunt.
But she and Lu Qimin weren’t in that kind of relationship; they were just roommates.
When she hung out with her other friends, they would never eat each other’s leftovers either.
“The instructor gave us a break, and I thought a certain person must be tired and thirsty, so I wanted to come over and bring some water. I didn’t expect someone else to get ahead of me and bring warmth to our A-Xue~” Lu Qimin looked a little resentful.
In reality, she no longer cared. Someone like Qi Zian wasn’t even a threat, but she couldn’t help but say sour things to Bai Fuxue.
This was an uncontrollable reaction of hers.
After the words came out of her mouth, Lu Qimin was a little surprised herself.
She was losing control…
Bai Fuxue felt a little guilty after hearing this. Lu Qimin had walked through the hot sun to find her and brought her a cool and delicious smoothie.
She didn’t care about Lu Qimin eating her leftover smoothie anymore.
She only wanted to make sure that Lu Qimin didn’t feel wronged anymore.
She anxiously reached out and held Lu Qimin’s arm, her expression sincere, and her voice unconsciously softened, “Didn’t we say we weren’t going to talk about him anymore?”
“I know you’re the best person to me.”
She spoke from the bottom of her heart, truly believing that Lu Qimin was exceptionally good to her.
Lu Qimin took a deep breath, trying to hold back the smile that was about to show on her lips.
So to Bai Fuxue, she still looked like she had a tense expression, with the words “Hurry up and comfort me” written all over her face.
When Bai Fuxue proactively leaned in and held her hands, the petals in Lu Qimin’s heart began to bloom.
Bai Fuxue’s voice was clear and melodic, like the notes struck by a pianist’s fingers. It was already pleasant to listen to when she spoke, but when she was comforting someone, her tone was softer and her voice carried the natural energy of a girlfriend.
It made Lu Qimin’s ears tingle and her heart itch.
She especially wanted to pull Bai Fuxue into her arms and ravage her.
She wanted to hear her beg for mercy with a broken voice.
Bai Fuxue continued to comfort her. Lu Qimin was about to lose control of her facial expression.
Finally, she sighed and surrendered, telling Bai Fuxue the “passcode.”
“Change your form of address.”
“What?” Bai Fuxue was a little confused.
Lu Qimin stared at her, her eyes reflecting Bai Fuxue’s image. She taught her one word at a time: “Say, ‘I’m only good with big sister.'”
The emphasis was on “big sister,” casting an amorous veil over the ordinary term, giving it a sense of longing.
Bai Fuxue thought Lu Qimin would give her a hard, embarrassing request, but she didn’t expect it to be so simple.
She was eager to comfort Lu Qimin and quickly rehearsed the words in her mind before saying them.
But under Lu Qimin’s burning gaze, Bai Fuxue inexplicably felt like the words were burning her mouth. She stammered them out, her pale face turning red.
“I… I’m only good with… big sister…”
Lu Qimin didn’t react for several seconds.
Bai Fuxue thought her voice was too soft and that Lu Qimin hadn’t heard her, and she felt uneasy.
Suddenly, she was forcefully pressed against a chest.
She heard the woman take a deep breath near her neck.
She let her go and said in a muffled voice, “I’m going to train now.”
When Bai Fuxue looked again, she only saw Lu Qimin’s back as she walked away, her steps incredibly fast.
The entire process was so quick it felt like an illusion.
Bai Fuxue stood in place, slowly blinking.
She thought she saw Lu Qimin’s ears turn red?
They were pink at the tips, so cute.
