“What do you mean I can’t become a duchess?!”

Isabella, upon hearing that she had lost her right to inherit the title from Damian, openly displayed her anger. Upon learning that the cause was Damian’s reckless behavior, Isabella’s anger intensified even further.

“That’s because you couldn’t finish the party well. That’s why the reputation was ruined.”

“My fault!? You were the one who tried to crash the party without an invitation. That’s your problem, not mine. Don’t blame me for it.”

The two of them passed the blame back and forth, engaging in an ugly argument. Realizing this was going nowhere, Damian changed the subject.

“Anyway, to resolve this situation, we need your help.”

“What do you mean?”

Isabella asks with a prickly attitude. To her, Damian says.

“If we make the next party a success and deliver results, we can get forgiven for this incident. That’s the plan.”

“Why do I have to work hard for someone like you?”

Isabella argued that she had no reason to work hard for Damian and was considering switching to another man. Despite all her efforts until now, being scolded for not achieving results and losing the chance to become a marchioness made her think there was no need to continue dating Damian.

However, that was not allowed.

“If we don’t do anything about it, we’ll remain in this position.”

“Huh? I have no intention of going along with that.”

“Unfortunately, you can’t escape. My father said he wouldn’t allow a second broken engagement. It seems the head of the Rosewood family on your side has agreed to this as well.”

“Huh?”

Damian revealed that the heads of both families have decided not to allow a second engagement cancellation. If they do not comply, both of them will be executed. Isabella is in despair. Why did it come to this? Why am I being dragged into this?
