My Jealous and Beautiful Villainous Wife (ABO) - Chapter 35
The next morning, Si An arrived at the office as usual, ready to start his day. However, Assistant Su’s expression was somewhat peculiar.
As Si An was about to enter his office, Assistant Su hurried forward and whispered, President Si, President Long of Longxiao Group arrived very early and is currently waiting in the reception room.
Si An paused, turned to face Assistant Su, and asked, When did he arrive?
As he spoke, Si An began walking toward the reception room.
President Si, President Long arrived around 600 AM.
Si An frowned slightly and quickened his pace. Alright, you can go back to your office now, he said to Assistant Su.
Assistant Su acknowledged and returned to his own office.
The Alpha hadn’t sent a morning greeting, and Si An had assumed he was still asleep. He never imagined the Alpha would already be at his company.
Si An pondered this, his brow furrowed in confusion. As he moved, strands of his light golden hair drifted, catching the light and complementing the yellow gemstone tie clip.
Wearing a white suit, beige tie, and bright yellow tie clip, the Omega looked particularly warm and composed today.
His ice-blue eyes remained cool and detached, but his complexion radiated health and vitality.
Arriving at the reception room door, Si An pushed it open, but the first thing that caught his eye wasn’t the Alpha’s figure.
Instead, it was an Omega dressed in the company uniform, currently bending over to drape a blanket over the sleeping Alpha.
Perhaps it was Si An’s current angle of view, or perhaps the Omega was genuinely standing very close, but as the Omega leaned over, his breath could be felt on Long Xiao’s hair.
Long Xiao lay back in the armchair with his eyes closed, his hands resting neatly on his abdomen. Dark circles shadowed his eyes, and his long silver hair was carelessly pressed beneath him.
Though weary, he remained strikingly handsome, even the dark circles under his eyes making one want to gently wipe them away.
Hearing the noise, the Omega hurriedly turned around, meeting Si An’s darkening gaze. His face instantly paled.
He couldn’t even pull the blanket away his fingertips trembled, causing the blanket to fall directly onto Long Xiao’s face.
The Omega was wearing the company uniform, but Si An didn’t recognize him—a new face.
Si An stepped closer, and the Omega retreated step by step, immediately distancing himself from the sleeping Alpha.
Perhaps out of consideration for Long Xiao, neither of them spoke.
Finally, the Omega’s shin struck a chair with a sharp clang, tears welling in his eyes.
It was clear he was a timid Omega.
Si An’s chest burned with anger, but he had no intention of harming the other man.
Ignoring the Omega who had collapsed weakly to the floor, Si An turned to Long Xiao and reached out to remove the blanket covering his face.
But as the blanket fell away, he was met by a pair of drowsy, golden-flecked eyes.
Long Xiao blinked, his silver-white lashes brushing lightly against Si An’s fingertips. Recognizing the visitor, the Alpha instinctively curved his lips into a smile, as if genuinely pleased to see Si An. He straightened up, meeting Si An’s gaze with a warm, upward glance.
Si An, good morning.
Faced with Long Xiao’s demeanor, it was difficult to maintain his anger.
But Si An was no ordinary man. He wasn’t easily appeased. He didn’t return Long Xiao’s greeting, his gaze instead drifting back to the Omega.
Puzzled, Long Xiao followed Si An’s line of sight and saw a frail, helpless, and pitiful-looking stranger.
Long Xiao tilted his head, confused, and was about to ask a question when his gaze suddenly sharpened, his expression turning serious.
Short golden hair, blue eyes, delicate features, a slender frame, and a faint scar on his neck.
It all matched up. Everything clicked into place. Without time for explanation, Long Xiao threw off the blanket and stood up, moving to stand before the Omega.
The Alpha’s deep voice commanded from above, Open your palm.
The Omega didn’t understand but dared not disobey, trembling as he extended his hand.
A small, crimson mole was clearly visible on his palm.
Long Xiao frowned, but a flicker of relief crossed his eyes.
It had been far easier than expected. The employee who had leaked confidential information had appeared before they even had to search for him.
This pleased Long Xiao. He raised an eyebrow and turned back, only to meet Si An’s face, as dark as the bottom of a pot.
Si An stood in the center of the reception room, the crystal chandelier casting an overly bright light that made his hair and tie gleam brilliantly.
His expression was icy as he stared at Long Xiao, his thin lips moving to sneer, What? Do you need me to give you two some space?
Seeing Si An’s obvious anger, Long Xiao was momentarily stunned.
Even in his anger, Si An remained breathtakingly beautiful.
Long Xiao lowered his brows and strode back to Si An’s side, his golden eyes shining brightly. He murmured, Si An, are you angry?
His voice was low, a hint of obsession lurking in his gaze.
Si An ……
He almost laughed in exasperation, letting out a single heh. The anger he had been suppressing deflated, leaving him torn between exploding and holding back.
The Omega standing nearby sensed the tension and tried to slip away, but Long Xiao stopped him.
What’s your name?
The Alpha stood facing Si An, his body turned completely toward his beloved, yet his voice carried a deep, authoritative weight that made it difficult to refuse.
The Omega glanced at Si An, gritted his teeth, and whispered, Su Min.
With that, he vanished in a flash, his retreating figure radiating an air of reckless abandon.
It seemed he understood that his newly acquired job might already be lost.
Having learned the Omega’s name, Long Xiao silently committed it to memory. Noticing Si An’s still-darkening expression, he snapped his fingers, and a silver rose materialized in his hand.
Si An, please don’t be angry, okay?
Long Xiao’s voice wasn’t exactly gentle, but his tone carried a hint of reconciliation.
In truth, Long Xiao’s voice was naturally deep and resonant. No matter how he relaxed his vocal cords, it remained cold and magnetic. This was the best he could manage after considerable effort.
Seeing the offered rose, Si An’s temple vein throbbed twice. Without hesitation, he slapped the flower to the ground.
Long Xiao, what do you take me for? he demanded, his ice-blue eyes burning with fury. His already crisp voice seemed to freeze over.
Long Xiao watched Si An’s anger without panic. Instead, his eyes narrowed into vertical pupils, glowing with excitement.
My wife, my beloved, my cherished Omega, he replied. What’s wrong with that?
Long Xiao raised an eyebrow, posing the question as a challenge.
Before Si An could respond, Long Xiao locked eyes with the icy flames in Si An’s gaze and continued, What about you, Si An? I’m courting you.
You haven’t rejected my advances, yet your parents keep searching for a son-in-law.
What do you take me for?
The golden vertical pupils clashed with the ice-blue irises, neither yielding an inch.
Long Xiao’s deep, steady voice finished slowly, demanding an answer from Si An.
