My Sister-In-Law Has Impure Intentions (GL) - Chapter 12
The sudden feeling of weightlessness made Lin Ruoyan dizzy. After a few seconds, she realized she was pinned beneath Xu Jingyi. Xu Jingyi straddled her abdomen, leaning slightly forward, suspended above her body.
“Get off,” Lin Ruoyan pushed Xu Jingyi’s body forcefully, a hint of fear in her voice, wanting desperately to escape.
She hadn’t been able to turn on the lights when she entered, as her hands were full. Now, the room was plunged into darkness, and her alcohol-washed rationality could easily derail in such an environment.
But the person straddling her wouldn’t let her have her way. As soon as Lin Ruoyan said “get off,” Xu Jingyi bit down, planting messy kisses all over her neck, a tempest of unbridled passion. She even pulled Lin Ruoyan’s hand to place it on her own body.
“It’s so hot, will you help me take off my clothes?”
Every word felt like a heavy hammer striking Lin Ruoyan’s heart. Her heart pounded like a drum, and she struggled with all her might, desperate to escape this “dangerous” situation.
Yet, the person who had been so weak moments ago now possessed an uncanny strength, while Lin Ruoyan, who had carried her upstairs, found her arms sore and lacking any power to resist.
After a few struggles, Xu Jingyi noticed that the reaction beneath her was vastly different from before. She lifted her head, frowned, and said, “Why aren’t you taking off my clothes? Don’t you love me anymore?”
The momentary slackness finally gave Lin Ruoyan an opportunity. She took a deep breath, mustered all her strength, and forcefully pushed Xu Jingyi aside. Ignoring Xu Jingyi’s reaction, she quickly got off the bed and escaped.
Only after returning to her own room, without daring to delay a second, did she allow herself to breathe heavily.
A sexually frustrated woman was truly terrifying.
Even more terrifying was that this person was her sister-in-law, and she shouldn’t be having any improper thoughts about her.
She shifted her legs uncomfortably. The damp feeling in her private area was especially unpleasant; her underwear clung to her, making every movement awkward. She hadn’t noticed it in her haste to escape, but now that she had calmed down, it was torment. She quickly grabbed her pajamas and entered the bathroom to shower, pretending that nothing had happened tonight.
Xu Jingyi, however, fell asleep quickly and slept dreamlessly. Lin Ruoyan tossed and turned in bed for a long time, unable to sleep, only drifting off vaguely around two or three in the morning.
The next day was Saturday, and Lin Ruoyan woke up rather late. She checked the time; it was almost lunchtime. She decided to take the day off and not work overtime. After being so busy for so long, and enduring such “inhuman” torment last night, a rest was certainly deserved.
She didn’t have a habit of lying in bed; even when resting, she wouldn’t stay in bed, as that was too much of a waste of time. She got up, washed up, and went downstairs. She expected the living room to be empty, but there was someone sitting in the middle, eating breakfast.
The sound of her descending the stairs startled Xu Jingyi. Xu Jingyi’s body froze for a moment but quickly relaxed back to normal. She subtly worked the muscles in her face, then turned to Lin Ruoyan with a perfect smile and greeted her, “Morning, Ruoyan.”
She had slept well and woken up quite early, but as she became more awake, the memories of last night slowly flooded her mind.
“Carry me back to the room…”
“I want…”
“Why aren’t you kissing me…”
The pain in life was getting drunk, doing embarrassing things, but not blacking out. She felt awful, both mentally and physically. She played ostrich, hiding in her room, wanting to wait until Lin Ruoyan left for work before coming out. They had lived together for so long without seeing each other much. If she continued her current routine, she should be able to avoid meeting her. After some time, it shouldn’t be so awkward.
She finally waited until almost noon, thinking that the workaholic must have already gone to work, before coming down for breakfast. But to her surprise, Lin Ruoyan came down just after she had taken a few bites.
Such a small world. Is she doing this on purpose?
Lin Ruoyan subtly frowned, noting Xu Jingyi’s unchanged expression. She walked over as if nothing was amiss and said, “Morning, sister-in-law.”
The housekeeper, hearing her voice, poked her head out from the kitchen. “Miss, would you like something to eat?”
Lin Ruoyan nodded. “Yes, the same as Madam.”
Xu Jingyi’s breakfast was simple: milk and bread, typical Western fast food. Lin Ruoyan wasn’t fond of these; she had eaten enough of them abroad. However, it was almost lunchtime, so a quick bite would suffice, no need to be picky.
The housekeeper went to get her breakfast. Lin Ruoyan sat down opposite Xu Jingyi. The air was eerily silent. Xu Jingyi kept her face down, staring intently at her cup of milk.
The atmosphere was too awkward. Xu Jingyi endured it for a while, then finally spoke, trying to make conversation. “Ruoyan, you’re not going to work today?”
It was actually normal for them not to speak. They had argued before the cocktail party, which was merely an act. So, silence now was to be expected. But Xu Jingyi felt guilty, which made it all the more agonizing.
Lin Ruoyan sat upright in front of her, her voice sounding a little tired. “No, taking a day off.”
“Hehe…” Xu Jingyi gave a very obvious dry laugh. “You should take a break. You’ve been so busy.”
“Mhm.”
The air fell silent again. The housekeeper came out with breakfast and placed it in front of Lin Ruoyan. “Miss, will you be having lunch at home?”
Lin Ruoyan: “Yes.”
“Okay.”
The housekeeper walked away. Xu Jingyi gritted her teeth, stomping her foot mentally. “I got drunk yesterday. Was it you who brought me back, Ruoyan?”
Upon hearing her words, Lin Ruoyan suddenly understood. No wonder Xu Jingyi seemed normal; she had forgotten about yesterday’s events. This was even better, avoiding awkwardness. Lin Ruoyan secretly sighed in relief, and her body relaxed a little.
“Mhm,” she replied, her tone still cold and concise.
“Thank you so much, Ruoyan. I completely forgot how I got into the car last night,” Xu Jingyi said, displaying a suitably embarrassed expression.
“You’re welcome. You’re my sister-in-law; it’s my duty to take care of you,” Lin Ruoyan said, deliberately ignoring the strange feeling within her. “Don’t drink so much next time. It’s not good for your health.”
“Mhm.”
With Lin Ruoyan at home, Xu Jingyi had no choice but to escape. She calmly finished her breakfast, went upstairs to change, and was seen by the housekeeper as she was leaving. “Madam, are you not having lunch at home?”
Lin Ruoyan, who was resting today, was still sitting on the sofa. Xu Jingyi controlled her urge to look that way. It was awkward enough; she couldn’t make it worse.
“No, something came up. I won’t be home for lunch.”
“Okay. Will you be home for dinner tonight?”
“I’ll eat before I come back.”
Author’s Note:
“Such a small world,” or rather, “If it’s meant to be, it will happen!!”
Sister Xu: “Why is the housekeeper talking so much today!!!”
