She sent a message on her phone, and five minutes later, there was a knock at her door. She opened it, took the blanket the bodyguard handed her, and placed it on the sofa without a word.

“I’ll sleep on the sofa.”

Xu Jingyi chuckled, finding her incredibly cute. If she didn’t know Lin Ruoyan’s true feelings, she might have genuinely believed she had no interest in her. Lin Ruoyan didn’t know how to explain herself, so she simply ignored her, lay down on the sofa, and prepared to play dead and sleep.

“Haven’t you ever slept with a friend when you traveled?” Xu Jingyi had already lain down, but now she sat up to talk to her. “The sofa isn’t comfortable. Come up here and join me!”

Lin Ruoyan couldn’t stand her chattering. She got up again, turned off all the lights, and lay back down on the sofa. “Go to sleep.”

“Hey, are you really not coming up? We have a few more days of fun, and if you keep sleeping on the sofa, will your back be okay?” The darkness was very quiet, and Xu Jingyi’s voice seemed even clearer as it carried across the room.
