Lin Ruoyan had just taken over the Lin family affairs and was quickly getting busy. Not only did she need to handle company matters, but she also had to balance several factions below.

“It’s so late, is there something wrong?” She was just about to open the door, but as she walked to the entrance, she saw her nightgown in the mirror by the door. Planning to go to sleep, she had dressed lightly, but recalling Lin Ruoyan’s words from last time, Xu Jingyi put on a coat again before going to open the door.

Lin Ruoyan waited at the door, and hearing footsteps approaching, she didn’t expect the door to open. After thinking for a moment, she said, “Sorry to disturb you so late, is it convenient now?”

“I’ll go get my makeup done tomorrow afternoon. You can pick me up after you get off work, and then we can go together?”

This is the first formal banquet for her and Lin Ruoyan after Lin Ruofeng’s accident, and she should express her stance. The Lin family is still the same Lin family, no problem.

She was afraid Xu Jingyi had gone to rest, so she came to find Xu Jingyi as soon as she got home. After finishing her business, she turned and went to the study; there were still some things she needed to take care of.
