When they met again, Lin Ruoyan had already done her makeup, and Xu Jingyi was waiting for her in the car.

Lin Ruoyan regretted her words a bit after saying them. Clearly, with the driver’s help, it could have been faster, and she wouldn’t have to exert herself so much. Yet, she had refused due to the uncomfortable feeling that had arisen in that moment.

As for why she felt uncomfortable, she didn’t have the energy to delve into it at the moment; she just wanted to quickly help the person into the car.
