My Villain Is Super Sweet (GL) - CHAPTER 38
Not long after she hung up the phone, sure enough, Lin Lang made her “fly.”
Still feeling the lingering aftershocks, Gu Qingci tilted her face up to welcome Lin Lang’s gentle kisses, comforting and calming. She glanced at the time out of habit.
Hmm, perfect. Just a little before ten.
Progress! Lin Lang had finally learned to pace herself.
After all, to avoid the evening rush, they had eaten near the office before heading home. By the time they got back, it was already past eight.
If anyone knew what she was thinking right now, they’d probably cry tears of envy.
A full hour and a half of fiery passion—and that was the restrained version? Talk about unfair!
People really don’t know how good the well-fed have it.
After all the intense action, Gu Qingci felt completely worn out.
She let Lin Lang carry her into the bathroom, where Lin Lang carefully washed her off. Gu Qingci wrapped her arms around Lin Lang’s neck, her body limp and boneless, hanging onto her. Her hand slid unconsciously down Lin Lang’s back.
Even before they got together, she had always admired Lin Lang’s lean physique—especially her waist. Back then, she didn’t dare touch anywhere else.
But now? Lin Lang was hers. She could touch wherever she wanted, however she wanted!
As her hand explored, she realized this lithe build didn’t just give Lin Lang great lines and posture—it also let her…
She turned her face, looked at Lin Lang through the steamy haze, and couldn’t resist kissing her hard. In a soft voice, she said, “Lin Lang, you’re amazing.”
“I like you.”
“I really like you.”
Lin Lang kissed her back. “I like you too.”
Then added with emphasis: “Even more than you like me!”
Gu Qingci was thrilled by the response. In a playful, spoiled tone, she asked, “I let you do everything. Won’t you get tired of it?”
Lin Lang whispered something dirty in her ear, “If you don’t let me, that’s when I’ll be unhappy.”
These days, Gu Qingci was no longer the same as before. Though still a little shy at Lin Lang’s words, she kept nibbling on her earlobe and enjoying her touch, boldly whispering back, “I won’t. Only you.”
In her 24 years of life, she never imagined she’d fall for a girl—much less become so obsessed and dependent.
Especially after Lin Lang “unlocked” her, she practically wanted to stick to her 24/7, craving constant, skin-to-skin closeness.
She’d never even dreamed she’d become someone like this.
Every time she saw Lin Lang—especially when it was just the two of them—she couldn’t help but want Lin Lang to do this and that to her.
Gu Qingci quietly wondered if this was like those ABO stories, where an omega becomes hopelessly attached and clingy after being marked by their alpha. Sure, they weren’t really alpha and omega, but who said hormones weren’t a kind of pheromone?
So, her current obsession and attachment to Lin Lang were totally normal. Once this “pheromone storm” calmed down, everything would go back to normal.
No need to feel ashamed, anxious, or struggle with her identity.
She just needed to enjoy it.
She had done her research, after all!
There were posts all over the internet—and even personal stories. During the honeymoon phase, twice a day was considered normal. During the stable phase, every other day was fine. And later on, even once a month wasn’t surprising. If you could keep it twice a week, that was basically divine blessing!
With that mindset, Gu Qingci gave herself fully to Lin Lang’s teasing. In their ridiculously oversized couple’s bathtub, she melted into a pool of spring water—barely touched, and she was already overflowing.
They spent a weekend that could only be described as wild and indulgent.
Three meals a day, plus afternoon tea and late-night snacks—they did it in the kitchen, on the dining table, on the couch, the swing, the study, the bathroom…
Everywhere bore the marks of their passion.
Once, Gu Qingci was pinned against the window. Her clothes and skirt were still neat and tidy. Lin Lang stood behind her, arms around her soft waist, not touching anything else—just shifting things aside and…
As they moved together, Lin Lang even asked her if the flowers outside were blooming.
And Gu Qingci’s own flower finally bloomed for Lin Lang to pick.
Her most delicate part had clearly been “trained” now, because this time, she felt no discomfort at all.
The only lasting side effect was an extremely sore waist.
From that weekend onward, their lives became oddly split.
During the day, they worked hard and stayed professional—meeting with potential partners and negotiating deals with efficiency and precision.
By the end of the day, they were mentally drained.
But at night, once home, they were instantly recharged—full of energy and passion, engaging in intense couple workouts until they collapsed from exhaustion.
Lin Lang casually suggested, “This commute’s too long. If we lived near Huada, we could save at least an hour and a half a day.”
Honestly, it made total sense.
Though Gu Qingci couldn’t tell if Lin Lang wanted more rest—or more time for other activities.
It wasn’t even like Gu Qingci couldn’t get used to it. She had lived in Huada for six years. Even the occasional stay felt totally normal.
But she still said no.
She turned it down!
Lin Lang was curious. “Why not? You could sleep in longer.”
Gu Qingci avoided her gaze, clearly feeling a bit guilty, but still stubborn. “Just… no.”
After a pause, she muttered, “We’ll talk after New Year.”
Lin Lang didn’t push. She wasn’t obsessed with moving in—just worried about Gu Qingci tiring herself out.
Then, the next day, Lin Lang saw a wedding car on the road and suddenly understood.
There was an old custom in Rong City—one people rarely followed these days.
No empty rooms during the first month of marriage.
Realizing the implication, Lin Lang was delighted.
So, in Gu Qingci’s heart, they were like newlyweds now?
That was so sweet it melted her heart.
The good news from that night when Yuan Ying excitedly called came through quickly.
A few days later, someone arrived to finalize the buyout and confidentiality agreement, transferring all the documents on the spot.
Before leaving, the person handed them a number. “If you notice anything unusual, call this number directly.”
“Unusual” included—but wasn’t limited to—snooping, attempted theft, or anything that might endanger their safety.
All three of them promised they’d call if needed.
“Be careful. Call us if anything seems off. We’ll check everything, and there’s a bonus if the report turns out to be true,” the visitor said before leaving.
The total payout was over 700,000 yuan. At first, Gu Qingci wanted Yuan Ying to keep it all—but then realized that wouldn’t work.
The result didn’t have much to do with her or Lin Lang. Gu Qingci had paid for the lab, and Yuan Ying had used company resources to accidentally stumble upon the discovery.
Lin Lang’s contribution was even more bizarre—her formula came from some mystical intuition.
If Yuan Ying took all the money, the company might start treating this as precedent. Not good.
In the end, Yuan Ying took 500,000, Lin Lang got 50,000, and the rest went to the company as part of the annual bonus—which still ended up going to Yuan Ying.
Talking about year-end bonuses brought up another pressing issue:
In just half a month, they’d be on holiday. Which meant: Spring Festival. Which meant: going home.
Lin Lang didn’t care much. But Gu Qingci had no choice.
She had graduated early and come straight to Beijing without going home to Rong City. She already felt guilty. If she didn’t go back for the New Year, her mom might show up and drag her back by the ear.
One night, as they were “getting to know each other better,” they started discussing what to do during the holiday.
Unlike other couples debating whose home to visit, they were planning how to sneak around once they went back.
Gu Qingci sighed. “I guess I’ll stay at Yuyuan.”
After spending so many shameless days with Lin Lang, she felt more and more addicted.
She just wanted to stick close to Lin Lang, always touching.
Even if she stayed at Yuyuan, right upstairs from Lin Lang, it wasn’t the same. They’d be living apart.
They couldn’t be freely affectionate anymore.
Forget couple workouts—at best, they could hold hands like elementary schoolers.
Worse, her mom would almost definitely stay in the unit across the hall. The thought made her feel suffocated.
Even if she managed to smuggle Lin Lang in, she didn’t have the guts to be shameless under her mom’s nose.
Luckily, Lin Lang had a plan.
“When we get back, I’ll give you a keycard and register your fingerprint,” she said seriously—while her hands weren’t being serious at all, roaming all over Gu Qingci as she buried her face in her chest. “Once your mom’s asleep, you can sneak down for the night and go back in the morning.”
“What if she catches me?” Gu Qingci hesitated, though clearly tempted.
“If she sees you coming down, just say you came to borrow something,” Lin Lang replied, then added with a smirk, “I should pay my ‘taxes’ to you, right?”
Gu Qingci bit her lightly. This smug girl!
“If she sees you going back up, just say you finished your workout with me and are heading home.”
After all—none of that would be a lie!
Not even a little white one!
Gu Qingci was stunned by Lin Lang’s shamelessness.
But the more she thought about it… it actually sounded doable.
Thick-skinned girls really do win in the end.
She was always outmatched by Lin Lang in that area—and it was probably because she wasn’t shameless enough!
With the dread of soon being forced to live apart, they dragged out their return home as long as they could. Though work only went until the 1st, and vacation officially started then, they booked a flight for the afternoon of New Year’s Eve on the 4th.
They told themselves they had to complete their “honeymoon month” properly.
As two tragic lovebirds about to be separated by family, they stocked up on food and spent the two free days locked away—utterly inseparable.
Once the clothes came off, they didn’t want to put them back on. Once they got in bed, they didn’t want to get out. Once they clung to each other, they didn’t want to let go for even a second.
They’d collapse together, nap in each other’s arms, and once they woke, they’d start a new round of exploring and pleasure.
As if by doing this, they could make up for all the couple workouts they’d miss in the coming days.
Even on the morning of New Year’s Eve, they squeezed in a quick session.
While moving together, Lin Lang whispered her dream: “I want to stay in bed with you all night, welcoming the New Year—from this year straight into the next…”
They’d missed the chance during the last New Year because Gu Minglan showed up unannounced.
Would they finally get their wish during Spring Festival?
