“Aren’t we going up to check?” Shi Ning asked Su Tianxue.
The two were currently at the hotel entrance. Shi Ning had used special means to locate Su Wanxing’s current hotel. Coincidentally, this hotel was one of her properties. She pulled up the room occupancy records and found that Su Wanxing had checked in with her junior classmate, Jiang Ningran.
She told this to the anxious Su Tianxue.
She had expected Su Tianxue to rush into the hotel, kick the door open, and drag Su Wanxing out, giving her a rare show to watch.
However, after confirming all this, Su Tianxue remained surprisingly calm.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Su Tianxue met Shi Ning’s gaze and retorted.
Shi Ning chuckled: “I misunderstood.”
“I thought with your protectiveness over Su Wanxing, you’d rush up without hesitation.”
Su Tianxue’s face was cool and detached. When her emotions weren’t fluctuating much, her eyes were always faint, like the clearest moon on the coldest night.
“You’re mistaken,” she said flatly.
“Su Wanxing is over twenty years old; she’s an adult.” Su Tianxue glanced at Shi Ning’s face. “Aren’t you the one who loves to use the law to make points?”
“She’s an adult. Both legally and socially, she should be responsible for her own actions.”
Su Tianxue wasn’t the kind of parent who would set a curfew for a child in their twenties. Besides, Su Wanxing was just her sister.
She didn’t have the right to discipline her like a mother.
Shi Ning was curious: “Aren’t you afraid she’ll be led astray?”
She was purely curious. After all, in this world’s setting, an Omega’s estrus could easily cause a commotion. Wasn’t Su Tianxue rushing over precisely because she was worried about Su Wanxing causing a commotion?

Shi Ning waited for a long time, not getting any sweet words from Su Tianxue. She turned back and asked bluntly, “Su Tianxue, why aren’t you coaxing me?”
She put a big label on Su Tianxue.
“Is that how a wife acts?”
Su Tianxue was instantly stumped by this question, not knowing what to say.

The mischievousness in Shi Ning’s heart bubbled forth. She was like a witch who had brewed all her bad moods into a potion, now just waiting for this ice queen to drink her potion and transform.
She beckoned to Su Tianxue. Although Su Tianxue didn’t understand why, she still leaned in, closer. Shi Ning whispered something into Su Tianxue’s ear.
In broad daylight, hotel guests came and went.
Su Tianxue’s ears immediately flushed red.
She was embarrassed and annoyed: “You did that on purpose?”
Shi Ning tilted her head: “Wife, you said anything goes.”
Shi Ning provoked her: “You’re not going to be someone who doesn’t keep their promises, are you?”
Su Tianxue pursed her lips: “Say it at home.”
Shi Ning stubbornly: “Right here.”

Su Tianxue’s gaze drifted; she felt like everyone around her was looking at her, and an unprecedented sense of shame washed over her.
She glared at Shi Ning, who was completely unaffected, looking at her with a triumphant expression: “Are you going to say it or not?”
Su Tianxue steeled her heart, closed her eyes, and her red lips parted slightly. But those few words seemed to be tied in a knot on her tongue; she couldn’t utter them, which made her feel awkward.
Shi Ning hooked her arm around Su Tianxue’s shoulder: “Wife, how about I teach you?”
Su Tianxue gave her a cold look.
Shi Ning deliberately lowered her voice, tinged with desire and a hint of craving.
She said: “Wife, more.”
Su Tianxue had never felt any woman’s voice so seductive, but at this moment, this mischievous woman’s deliberately annoying words whispered in her ear darkened her gaze. …Her Alpha instincts resurfaced. Shi Ning shrugged, thinking, Alright, Su Tianxue, this is you telling me to shut up.
So, she wouldn’t tell Su Tianxue that the Omega she thought her sister was checking into the hotel with was actually an Alpha.
It was best to let Su Wanxing go through the entire plot with this supporting character. That way, even if Su Tianxue genuinely fell for this cute little girl one day, there would be nothing she could do.
Su Tianxue either liked no one.
Or, she could only like her.
