Peach Blossom Dual Cultivation - Chapter 58: The Heaven and Earth Sword (R18)
In the Dual Cultivation Manual, Artifacts are categorized into four major levels: artifacts, magical treasures, immortal artifacts, and divine artifacts.
Each major level is further divided into three grades: upper, middle, and lower. As a result, there are twelve distinct grades.
Artifacts can recognize their owner once infused with true energy, but magical treasures require a drop of blood to form a bond. If a magical treasure already carries someone else’s spiritual imprint, that imprint must be completely erased first.
As for immortal artifacts and divine artifacts, they are typically passed down through inheritance, as they are left behind by exceptionally powerful beings, and their spiritual imprints are incredibly difficult to remove.
The Dual Cultivation Manual also contains information about formations, which are divided into three main categories: auxiliary formations, offensive formations, and defensive formations.
For example, formations like the Spirit Gathering Formation, which gathers spiritual energy to accelerate cultivation, are auxiliary formations. Formations like the Twelve Heavenly Demon Formation or the Immortal Execution Formation are offensive formations, while formations like the Five Elements Defensive Formation are defensive.
Of course, these three categories have further subdivisions.
For Zhou Lang, the primary focus was on offensive formations.
Offensive formations are divided into illusion formations, killing formations, and trapping formations.
Illusion formations use deceptive illusions to confuse and harm their targets. These illusions can range from a person’s deepest desires to their greatest fears, or from painful to joyful memories, trapping people in an endless cycle of emotional turmoil.
Advanced illusion formations can even extract information from a person’s soul, revealing memories buried deep within their true spirit—memories the person may have forgotten. Everything in the illusion feels real, and even those who are aware that it’s an illusion may still fall into its trap. If the illusion targets a person’s most vulnerable emotions, it can lead to inner demons and eternal ruin.
Killing formations, as the name suggests, are designed to kill opponents. These formations are filled with murderous intent but often leave a single exit, known as the life gate, to avoid violating the natural order by being overly ruthless. Killing formations are the most powerful of all formations; once trapped, the result is often the destruction of both body and soul.
Trapping formations aim to imprison enemies. They contain countless restrictions designed to weaken the enemy’s strength, ensuring they cannot escape and are trapped indefinitely.
Of course, these categories aren’t absolute, as powerful formations often combine multiple types, greatly amplifying their power.
In simple terms, formations harness the forces of nature to combat enemies. Once caught in a formation, it’s akin to battling with heaven and earth themselves.
Advanced formations are immensely powerful and terrifying; they can destroy the world or even create new heavens and earth.
Inside the treasure vault of the Heaven and Earth Palace, Zhou Lang examined the artifacts and magical treasures left behind by his ancestors.
The artifacts included five multicolored command flags. The flagpoles were made of cold iron, but the material of the flags themselves was unclear. When the flags were raised, they fluttered without wind. These five flags could be used to set up a Five Elements Formation.
There were also seven flying swords, which seemed to be at the magical treasure level and could be used to form a deadly sword formation.
Among the seven swords, six were short swords, about a foot long, while the seventh was three feet long. This longer sword was completely black, simple in appearance but radiated an icy aura. On the hilt, three faintly visible ancient characters were inscribed: Heaven and Earth Sword.
Zhou Lang knew that this sword was likely the highest-quality treasure among them and was the personal weapon his ancestor had left for him. He took the Heaven and Earth Sword from the rack, unable to put it down.
These were the complete sets of artifacts and magical treasures. There were also some individual artifacts, like flying arrows and long swords, but their quality wasn’t as high.
“Brother Lang, the Five Elements Flags are upper-grade artifacts, and the six short swords are also upper-grade artifacts. As for the main sword, the Heaven and Earth Sword, I’m not sure of its exact grade. With these seven flying swords, if you reach the Foundation Establishment stage, you’ll be able to set up a deadly sword formation,” Xiaoxi explained.
“Xiaoxi, do you know how to use formations? You’re already at the Foundation Establishment stage, so you can start studying formations. That way, even if the Shangguan Family comes, we’ll be prepared,” Zhou Lang said, holding the Heaven and Earth Sword.
“Brother Lang, I’m just an artifact spirit. These artifacts and magical treasures were left by the old master. I can’t recognize them as my own. In my hands, these flying swords are just ordinary weapons; I can’t control them with spiritual energy to set up formations. Only you can control these treasures because the old master placed restrictions on them. Only someone with Zhou Family blood can break the restrictions.”
“It seems I’ll have to rely on myself,” Zhou Lang sighed. Although Xiaoxi was a powerful helper, she had some inherent limitations.
“Brother Lang, the fastest way for you to advance from the Qi Refining stage to the Foundation Establishment stage is through dual cultivation. Let’s start now,” Xiaoxi said as she began to remove her clothes. Soon, her white casual outfit fell to the ground, revealing her flawless figure.
“Xiaoxi, your body is beautiful.”
Zhou Lang’s eyes burned with desire as he looked at Xiaoxi’s seductive figure. His male hormones surged rapidly. Even though he was somewhat familiar with Xiaoxi’s body by now, every time he saw her, he was struck by how perfectly crafted she was—truly a masterpiece of the creator.
Especially now, dressed in the clothes he had bought for her, she looked even more alluring. Her full chest was half-exposed above her underwear, making it impossible for him to resist wanting to reach out and squeeze. Her panties were almost transparent, teasing the imagination, and her legs, over a meter long, made him want to lift her onto his shoulders and conquer her in a certain position…
“Brother Lang…”
Hearing Zhou Lang’s praise, Xiaoxi blushed slightly. Having lived with Zhou Lang in the mortal world for the past two days, she had learned much about mortal customs, including the intricacies of male-female relationships. As a result, she couldn’t help feeling shy around Zhou Lang now.
Her shyness only inflamed Zhou Lang further.
======================
He scooped her up and laid her on the warm jade bed, beginning to undress himself. Last night, he had shared a bed with Zhao Xiaorou and Ivanova but hadn’t been able to enjoy any intimate moments. Now, the fire in his loins was burning fiercely. His desire was palpable, and he completely forgot about the dual cultivation technique they were supposed to practice. As they both stood naked before each other, the air between them was thick with sexual tension. Xiaoxi’s body was a sight to behold, every curve and contour perfectly sculpted. Zhou Lang couldn’t resist reaching out to touch her, his fingers tracing the delicate lines of her back. She shivered at his touch, her soft moans sending waves of pleasure through him. Without further ado, Zhou Lang crawled on top of Xiaoxi, his hardened manhood pressing against her wet folds. He couldn’t wait any longer. With one powerful thrust, he buried himself deep within her warmth, both of them crying out in unison. Their bodies moved together in perfect harmony, their breaths mingling as they found their rhythm. Zhou Lang’s hands roamed freely over Xiaoxi’s supple form, exploring every inch of her skin. She arched her back, meeting his thrusts with equal fervor, her nails digging into his shoulders.
Zhou Lang lost himself in the feeling of Xiaoxi’s tight walls clenching around him, her moans of pleasure fueling his desire. He pushed himself to his limits, determined to bring her as much pleasure as she was bringing him.
Being intimate with a beauty like Xiaoxi was immensely pleasurable for Zhou Lang, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. In the heat of the moment, he forgot about some of Xiaoxi’s earlier warnings.
“B-Brother Lang, quickly activate the cultivation technique now. Your current cultivation level isn’t high enough to indulge in pleasure without consequences. We need to focus on training,” Xiaoxi reminded him after they had been entwined for about ten minutes. If Zhou Lang were to lose too much essence, it would significantly slow his future cultivation progress.
