One Piece: Red Sword - Chapter 3
Rozar’s longsword was very cold. The blade gave off a faint bloody smell—it was easy to tell that it had killed many people.
With this kind of lunatic pressing a longsword against her neck, Plian felt her heart go cold.
She couldn’t even imagine what would happen if she made one wrong move. Would this bloody sword cut her down right away? It probably would!
This lunatic!
If I had known she was this dangerous, I wouldn’t have come!
Plian felt bitter in her heart and a little regretful.
“You still won’t speak? Do you want to die?” Rozar stared coldly at Plian and threatened her.
With Rozar’s skills, she could easily kill all these navy soldiers. But if she did that, she couldn’t continue her job as a bounty hunter. Not only would she lose the reward money for those ten
pirates’ heads, but no one would pay for the damage to her boat either.
That was the last thing she wanted.
So, she gave Plian a chance to explain. As long as she gave a reason that wasn’t too ridiculous, Rozar would forgive her—for the sake of money.
“Ah—no! I’ll talk! I’ll talk! Actually… actually… actually…”
Plian was terrified by Rozar’s actions. She was covered in sweat and kept trying to come up with an excuse, but nothing came to mind.
“Actually what?” Rozar’s eyes grew colder, and her tone was harsh.
Her instincts told her she should kill this group of navy soldiers, but reason made her hold back.
Still, from the way things looked, this group had come just for her.
Whatever. As long as there’s money.
Just a bunch of South Sea navy. They can’t take her life.
“Actually! A bounty hunter killed one of our navy officers. Colonel Art was furious and ordered me to catch that person.”
After thinking hard, Plian finally came up with an excuse.
“Then why attack me?” Rozar sneered. This navy officer was clearly full of lies.
“We didn’t know who the bounty hunter was. So we planned to catch all the nearby bounty hunters. Later, we would ask the witnesses to identify the criminal.”
Seeing Rozar’s cold smile, Plian shivered uncontrollably and quickly replied.
“Hey, hey. The way you all attacked just now didn’t seem like you were trying to arrest me. You were trying to kill me, weren’t you?”
Rozar laughed and looked at the navy officer with interest.
So these people, who wore the title of justice, could also lie so easily.
“No, no. Rozar, ma’am, you know how strong you are. You’re very famous in the South Sea. If we didn’t use strong methods, how could we possibly capture you? But I didn’t expect you to escape even
from that. You’re much stronger than any other bounty hunter.
I’ve been in the navy for over ten years in the South Sea, and I’ve never seen someone as powerful as you.”
Plian spoke seriously, her tone full of sincerity.
“Haha, no wonder you’re an officer.” Rozar laughed with sarcasm.
She continued, “So, are you still going to arrest me? Should I tie myself up for you?”
“Of course not! Rozar, ma’am, there’s no way you’re that kind of person. After talking with you for so long, I believe in your character. I can swear on my honor, the person who attacked the navy
could not be you!”
Plian swore with confidence.
“But my boat is broken… That boat was made by Master Yuris from Dog Town… You know, boats made by Yuris are all top quality and very expensive.”
Rozar said again.
But before she could finish, Plian quickly interrupted.
“We must pay compensation. Full compensation. And we also have to pay you emotional damages. Otherwise, my conscience will not be at peace.”
“That boat cost ninety million Berries.” Rozar smiled and tightened her grip on the sword slightly.
“No problem at all! Please let me pay. I’ll even add ten million Berries for emotional damages. Please, you must accept it.”
Feeling the sword trembling slightly on her neck, Plian quickly spoke.
“Hahahaha! Plian, you really are a smart one.”
Rozar let go of the sword and quickly returned it to its sheath.
“By the way, Sergeant Plian, are you heading back to Dog Town? If you don’t mind, could you take me along? My boat is broken.”
Rozar smiled brightly at Plian.
“Of course, no problem at all! Rozar, ma’am, please go inside and rest. We’ll reach Dog Town very soon.”
Plian patted her chest and spoke with great enthusiasm.
Then, she called over two navy soldiers and signaled them to guide Rozar inside to rest.
“Then thank you, Sergeant Plian. Sergeant Plian, you really are a just navy officer.”
Rozar smiled as she followed the two navy soldiers into the room.
Plian nodded and watched her leave.
Once Rozar’s figure had completely disappeared into the room, Plian’s face immediately turned dark.
“Sergeant Plian, are you really going to give her everything you promised just now? That’s almost a hundred million.”
A navy officer came up to Plian and asked in a low voice.
“Give her? Only if she lives long enough to take it.”
Plian sneered coldly. He touched his neck and felt a red line there. A few veins popped out on his forehead.
“Call Colonel Art. Tell him our mission failed and tell him to get ready. I’ll bring Rozar to the navy branch myself.”
Plian spoke coldly.
That foolish Rozar still dared to extort money from him? Once they reached the navy branch, it would be her death.
“Yes, sir.”
The officer answered and ran off to make the call.
“You all, make the ship go faster. We need to reach Dog Town as soon as possible!”
Plian barked at the sailors controlling the ship, his face dark.

Meanwhile…
Dog Town. Navy Branch. Inside the Colonel’s Office.
Colonel Art hung up the phone, anger flashing across his face.
“Useless fools. A whole warship couldn’t take care of one Rozar.”
Art cursed.
“If I didn’t have to guard the navy branch, I would’ve handled it myself. That bounty hunter, all of them would be dead under my blade! Hmph!”
A long-haired woman was standing behind Art. Her soft hands were gently massaging his shoulders.
Hearing Art’s angry voice, she spoke in a sweet tone,
“That’s right! Colonel Art is the best. If you made a move yourself, Rozar would be dead for sure. Those useless subordinates are good for nothing.”
Art looked proud. He squeezed the woman’s thigh with a smirk and said,
“Hehe, of course. Plian has already lured Rozar over. Soon, you’ll see how powerful I really am.”
“But for now, let’s prepare a little…”
Colonel Art made a phone call.
“Hello, this is Colonel Art…”
