Please, I Really Didn't Know My Junior Sister Was a Yandere - Chapter 3:
Chapter 3: My Junior Sister Could Never Be a Yandere!:
Hmph.
Su Ran sneered in his heart. This lousy system finally did something decent. This mission was way too easy!
Falling in love?
That was something he excelled at.
After all, Su Ran was a master at navigating the sea of ladies around him in his previous life!
Mission like this? The more, the better!
Mu Bei curiously asked, “Senior Brother, I thought you were dedicated to the Dao. Why the sudden change today…?”
Su Ran replied, “You might not believe it, but after my recent cultivation mishap, I suddenly had a realization.”
“People are always greedy. In the past, my heart was only set on the sword. I always thought there was plenty of time. But this recent incident made me realize that cherishing those in front of you is what matters most.”
Mu Bei’s eyes lit up. She had always thought her senior brother didn’t like her. It turned out she was overthinking.
‘If your heart is like mine, even if we never speak of it, it’s enough…’
‘But now that senior brother has expressed his feelings, then he can only belong to me.’
Mu Bei’s thoughts began to shift.
Meanwhile, seeing that he had completed the mission, Su Ran was ready to make a quick exit.
Junior sister? She was just a tool, nothing more.
Su Ran said, “Junior Sister, I’m not feeling well, so I’ll head back to rest.”
Mu Bei nodded her delicate chin. “Senior Brother, feel free to go back.”
Su Ran leisurely got up, ready to claim his reward—two life-bound flying swords.
This was Su Ran’s first time dealing with such a thing, and naturally, he was a bit curious and impatient.
Women would only slow him down. He had slaughtered fish at Darunfa for ten years; his heart had long since turned cold!
Su Ran had just taken two steps when Mu Bei called out to him.
“Senior Brother, you won’t betray me, right?”
Su Ran paused.
‘Hah, woman, are you testing me?’
“Of course not. What makes you think that?”
Mu Bei’s voice came from behind him again. “Good, because if you do…”
Su Ran sensed something off in her tone, swallowed hard, and asked, “If I betray you, what will you do?”
Mu Bei responded, “Senior Brother, are you really planning to betray me?”
Su Ran laughed nervously, “Haha, I was just asking, what if…”
Mu Bei continued, “It’s fine if you betray me. You die first, and I’ll follow you to the afterlife. Even in death, you’ll belong only to me!”
Su Ran was startled.
He turned around to see his once gentle, pure, and kind junior sister, whose eyes now gleamed with a sickly red light, with faint black mist rising behind her.
Su Ran shivered involuntarily, trying to maintain his composure. “Haha, don’t worry, Junior Sister. You’re the only one in my heart, absolutely.”
With that, Su Ran bolted.
Su Ran didn’t see the obsessive, almost fanatical look in the eyes of the stunningly beautiful girl behind him.
She gazed at him like he was some rare, precious treasure, something she would never allow anyone else to claim.
Mu Bei watched as Su Ran’s figure fled into the distance. Soon, a faint, abnormal blush spread across her face and she softly whispered, “Senior Brother, you finally belong to me.”
“You will be mine, forever.”
On the other hand, Su Ran ran out of his junior sister’s room as if his life depended on it, only stopping after he had gone a considerable distance. He glanced back with lingering fear.
Su Ran felt the need to calm down. His junior sister’s behavior was eerily similar to something he had seen in his previous life—those creatures called yanderes.
Those creatures, ugh, they really love you. They’ll even die with you. But their possessiveness is overwhelming. They only allow themselves to have you. If someone gets too close to you, they’ll find a way to eliminate them—or kill you, and then die with you, so you’ll belong to them forever.
Su Ran shook his head, “No way, my junior sister couldn’t possibly be a yandere.”
Recalling his junior sister’s gentle face, Su Ran became even more convinced.
Right, there was no mistake. Junior sister was so gentle, so kind, so cute—how could she be a yandere?
If she were a yandere, he would’ve noticed long ago.
What Su Ran didn’t know was that the system had selectively erased all his memories of his junior sister.
If Su Ran had those memories, he would never have confessed to her.
After all, she was a yandere!
A relationship?
The kind that ends in a murder-suicide.
Scary!
…
Su Ran continued walking, trying to convince himself, “It’s fine, it’s fine. I’m just scaring myself. There’s no way, my junior sister definitely isn’t a yandere.”
After returning to his room, Su Ran’s fear finally lessened a bit.
Su Ran accepted his mission reward and immediately sensed the presence of a life-bound flying sword.
But without any cultivation, he couldn’t use it right away.
Su Ran cultivated for a while, ate some fruit, freshened up, and went to bed.
After all, he was still a mortal and needed sleep.
The next day.
Su Ran felt difficulty breathing, as if something was strangling his neck.
“Ah, what’s this?!”
He woke up with a start and found the culprit of his suffocation clinging to him like a koala, wrapping tightly around his body.
In his arms was an incredibly beautiful girl, sleeping soundly.
Who else could it be but his junior sister?
The sleeping beauty in his arms looked like a fairy stepping out of a painting. She evoked both admiration and a desire to protect, but not to desecrate.
Even though the scene should have been enchanting, Su Ran’s face was pale, too scared to move.
Su Ran couldn’t understand why Mu Bei was in his bed or when she had gotten there.
The stunning girl seemed to be sleep-talking, “Senior Brother, you only belong to me!”
“I’ve waited so long for this day!”
Su Ran’s heart was filled with terror. His handsome face was ghostly pale, beads of sweat trickling down his forehead. He swallowed involuntarily.
“How did this happen…”
“My junior sister might really be a yandere…”
“Crap, I had no idea you were a yandere…”
“What do I do now…”
“Please, I really didn’t know my junior sister was a yandere!”
Su Ran felt completely tricked by the system.
He had no idea my junior sister was a yandere. If he had known, he wouldn’t have provoked her for just a couple of lousy life-bound flying swords!
Once again, he cursed, “Damn system, you’ve ruined my life!”
