Please, I Really Didn't Know My Junior Sister Was a Yandere - Chapter 4
Chapter 4: Confirmed, Junior Sister Really Is a Yandere!:
“How could I have ended up in a world where I can cultivate, but now I’m stuck with a yandere junior sister? I haven’t even had the chance to enjoy myself! Stupid system, ruining my youth. Damn you!”
“If you had told me earlier that my junior sister was a yandere, I would’ve never messed with her! Damn system, you son of a—!”
At this moment, the eyelids of the beautiful young woman twitched slightly, as if she was about to wake up. The force with which she had been holding Su Ran weakened, and he quickly slipped out of her embrace.
“Phew, finally free.”
The fact that he felt joy from something so basic made Su Ran feel a twinge of sadness for himself.
“Such a good sleep.”
The beautiful girl opened her drowsy eyes, which were as enchanting as a crescent moon just rising in the sky.
“Good morning, senior brother.”
Noticing Su Ran sitting beside her, Mu Bei immediately snuggled back into his arms.
Mu Bei hugged Su Ran tightly, took a deep breath, and showed an intoxicated expression. A faint blush spread across her face, which seemed a little unnatural.
Watching this scene, Su Ran felt his heart sink to the bottom.
“It’s over. There’s no doubt about it now. She’s definitely a yandere. Crap!”
In a panic, Su Ran pushed Mu Bei aside and asked with a troubled expression, “Junior sister, why were you sleeping in my bed?”
Mu Bei lazily stretched her body and replied casually, “I wanted to check on you last night, senior brother, but you were already asleep. So, I stayed to take care of you.”
Su Ran’s face still looked troubled. “So, is that how you take care of someone?”
Mu Bei smiled playfully. “Of course, senior brother. How else could I take good care of you?”
Su Ran said seriously, “Junior sister, this isn’t necessary. Didn’t you know that men and women shouldn’t be so close?”
Mu Bei tilted her head and bit her finger, saying, “But I already told my father yesterday that we could get married soon, so there’s no need to avoid it.”
Su Ran panicked.
Damn, was she trying to get him killed? Getting married soon?
“Junior sister, let’s talk about marriage later. We’re still young, and now is the time to focus on cultivating, not getting married.”
Mu Bei’s face suddenly darkened, and she asked coldly, “Are you telling me that you’ve already forgotten what you said yesterday, senior brother?”
Su Ran was scared, “Sh1t, is my yandere junior sister about to go dark?”
He swallowed nervously and found a good excuse. “No, of course not. I meant every word I said, but it’s still too early to talk about marriage. My parents’ death hasn’t been avenged yet, so how can I think about marriage?”
Hearing this, Mu Bei’s expression softened, and she suddenly smiled. “Oh, I see. Senior brother, you’re right. Let’s not rush the marriage then. I thought you’d forgotten what you said yesterday.”
Su Ran laughed awkwardly. “No way, I won’t forget. By the way, junior sister, I need to get up now.”
Mu Bei smiled sweetly. “Okay, senior brother. By the way, you don’t need to eat fruits today. I’ll bring you something to eat later.”
Su Ran didn’t pay much attention. He didn’t care what he ate; he just wanted this little demoness to leave quickly, so he nodded.
After Mu Bei left, Su Ran began to curse loudly.
“Stupid system, come out! I don’t want the reward anymore! Can you please stop this yandere junior sister from clinging to me?”
“Damn system, why didn’t you tell me Mu Bei was a yandere? Crap!”
“You’ve tricked me! Now I get it—you just don’t want to see me happy, huh?”
“No wonder it’s called the Ultimate Trouble-Making System. You really are something.”
“Stupid system, say something! If you can cause trouble, you should be able to answer me! Damn it!”
“System, I’m sorry! Please, can you do something to stop my yandere junior sister from bothering me? I don’t want to die young. Boohoo…”
No matter how much Su Ran cursed, the system didn’t respond.
Su Ran had no choice but to give up.
He lied on the bed, his eyes lifeless. It was over. Everything was over.
His confession triggered his junior sister’s yandere tendencies.
But damn it, he really didn’t know she was a yandere. Boohoo…
Just as Su Ran was lost in thought, Mu Bei returned.
She entered the room with a cheerful smile and began taking out the food she had brought, placing it on the table.
Then, with a sense of accomplishment, she said to Su Ran, “Senior brother, I specially went down the mountain to learn how to cook this, and I made it all by myself for you.”
Su Ran looked at the plates of blackened, unappetizing food and felt his stomach churn.
‘Damn it, junior sister, we have no grudge between us. Why are you trying to poison me?’
“Junior sister, I suddenly realize that I’m not very hungry.”
Mu Bei pouted, looking like she was about to cry at any moment.
Seeing this, Su Ran felt a bit guilty. But there was no way he could eat the food in front of him.
Just as Su Ran was about to come up with an excuse to refuse, the usually silent system suddenly made an appearance.
[Ding! Your junior sister has thoughtfully brought you food. As her senior brother, you should:
Option 1: Eat it and praise your junior sister, saying it’s delicious and thanking her.
Reward: You’ll get to eat her cooking every day from now on!
Option 2: Tell her, ‘Junior sister, you shouldn’t cook anymore. It’s a waste of food. Look at this—who could eat it?’ Then sweep the food onto the floor.
Reward: Your cultivation base will increase by one layer]
Su Ran’s eyes glazed over as he stared at the options the system provided.
As expected, it was the same old routine. The system was determined to stir up trouble.
If he chose the first option, he would had to eat his junior sister’s cooking every day.
Su Ran took a closer look at the food on the table.
Ugh…
Su Ran felt nauseous again. He had never seen such terrible cooking in his entire life.
Even without the reward, he would never choose the first option. If he did, he might as well dig a hole and bury himself right here. Life wouldn’t be worth living.
But the second option seemed a bit harsh.
After all, his junior sister put her heart into this. Wouldn’t he hurt her feelings if he did that?
And besides, she was a yandere. If she thought he was rejecting her cooking, what if she went dark?
Seeing that Su Ran was staring at the food without moving, Mu Bei asked, “What’s wrong, senior brother? Did I not cook it well?”
Su Ran looked at Mu Bei with a complicated expression. and thought inwardly, “Sorry, junior sister, it’s not that I’m not being kind. But you’re not treating me like a human either. You’re being unfair, so don’t blame me for being cruel!”
With a wave of his sleeve, Su Ran angrily said, “Junior sister, you shouldn’t cook anymore. It’s a waste of food. Look at this—who could eat it?”
With that, he swept all the food off the table and onto the floor.
Mu Bei was stunned by Su Ran’s sudden outburst, staring at him in shock.
(TL: …He actually did that… hmm… commendable)
