Premium Alpha Collection Guide (ABO) - Chapter 3
Meijiu’s quest was… beautiful Alpha sisters.
After tomorrow, she would come of age.
Early tomorrow morning, she could use her spatial magic to travel to the Imperial Capital Star to deal with Mei Jiu’s mother’s situation and then find a pretty Alpha sister to do the things adult succubi love.
But before she could head to the Imperial Capital Star to see Mei Jiu’s mother, while gathering more materials into her sub-cube on her way there, she stumbled across someone.
Meijiu didn’t know what special connection she had with these so-called interstellar travel pods, but in just one day in the Beilan Galaxy, she encountered another.
The sister inside this pod smelled amazing, with a fresh, tangy lime scent that made Meijiu crave a tall glass of iced lime juice.
She had seen lists of beautiful celebrities from the Kuta Galaxy on the intelligent network, but the person before her, with perfect features and an icy aura even while unconscious, captivated her.
This woman was far more stunning than the top-ranked “cool beauty” celebrity.
Meijiu just didn’t know if this gorgeous sister was an Alpha or if she could provide the semen needed for her adult phase.
Likely due to emergency medication, the woman’s life wasn’t in danger, but she was still badly injured, with wounds covering her body.
A battle-worn beauty—oh, how it hit Meijiu’s demonic sweet spot.
She stared, entranced, for a long while before snapping out of it to cast a healing spell.
The magic worked well; the wounds visibly healed at a rapid pace.
Meijiu felt a twinge of regret as the battle-worn look faded.
Just as she reached to touch a not-yet-fully-healed cut on the woman’s face, the stranger’s eyes snapped open, startling Meijiu into stumbling back.
The hand she extended was gripped tightly, but in half a second, Meijiu broke free, nearly swinging a fist in reflex.
Not only was she adept at magic, but her close-combat skills were unmatched among demons.
Luckily, she realized this person couldn’t be hit.
“Is this how you treat your savior… your benefactor?!” Meijiu huffed, a bit angry.
“Sorry… I…”
Xu Yunjing looked at the stunningly beautiful girl before her, who didn’t seem entirely human, and felt a bit flustered.
It was her mistake; years in the military had ingrained muscle memory, and she worried she might have hurt this lovely person.
Meijiu stayed silent, puffing up her cheeks in annoyance.
“My name is Xu Yunjing,” the woman said.
“Please… am I still alive? Is this the heavenly realm from ancient culture? Are you… a fairy?”
Anyone who knew Xu Yunjing would’ve been shocked.
Was this the famously taciturn imperial vice-marshal who preferred action over words?
Since arriving on Xilan Star yesterday, Meijiu had hidden her succubus traits, appearing like a normal Beilan Galaxy resident.
Hearing the woman call her a fairy and praise her beauty melted most of her irritation.
She finally responded, “This is Xilan Star. You’re not dead—I saved you. My name is Meijiu. Mei as in charm, Jiu as in seven-eight-nine. I’m not a fairy, I’m…”
Meijiu suddenly didn’t know how to describe her identity.
Xu Yunjing didn’t press, knowing everyone had secrets, just as she had her own pain.
“Thank you for saving me,” she said.
Not one for many words, she fell silent, and the air grew quiet.
Until a crab scuttled by, raising its large claw to pinch Meijiu’s jade-like ankle.
“Watch out!” Xu Yunjing, startled, quickly drew her laser gun to shoot the bold, ugly eight-legged creature.
But Meijiu’s fingertip shot out a large fireball, engulfing the crab.
Soon, a savory aroma wafted over.
“Meijiu… you’re definitely a fairy!”
Xu Yunjing’s eyes sparkled as she looked at Meijiu.
Her little secret?
The seemingly cold and quiet vice-marshal secretly loved ancient xianxia stories from her childhood.
Her reticence stemmed from social anxiety, not knowing how to talk to others.
Most people didn’t inspire her to speak anyway, except her ex-fiancée, Jin Yun, an Omega who broke off their engagement because Xu Yunjing couldn’t…
Well, she hadn’t loved her deeply, but having grown up together, she thought they could at least care for each other forever, even without love.
Alas, fate had other plans.
“I’m really… not… ugh, fine, think what you want,” Meijiu said, going along with it.
“Want some crab? You’re injured, so you shouldn’t eat anything too spicy. This roasted crab is pretty good—Xilan Star’s crabs are so plump.”
It was mealtime for Meijiu anyway, and she planned to catch a few more to roast.
“Crab? Isn’t this an eight-legged monster? You can eat it?”
Xu Yunjing was confused.
Did fairies eat such strange things because there was no food in the heavenly realm?
“Maybe you shouldn’t eat it, Meijiu. I have nutrient solutions—do you like red fruit or green fruit flavor?”
Meijiu knew what nutrient solutions were; the Kuta Galaxy had them too, but they were for the poor to stave off hunger.
They tasted bland, even bad.
In the Kuta Galaxy, anyone with means ate natural, cooked food.
Was the Beilan Galaxy so pitiful that people only drank nutrient solutions?
“I don’t drink that stuff, and you shouldn’t either—it’s awful. Let’s eat crab together.”
As she spoke, Meijiu expertly separated the crab’s shell, roe, and meat.
With a flick of magic, the shell vanished, and she placed the roe and meat in a bowl—no, a basin.
Xilan Star’s crabs were even larger and plumper than Gulan’s, and her usual crab-eating bowl couldn’t hold them, so she used her meal basin instead.
“Open your mouth…”
Meijiu scooped a heaping spoonful of crab meat and held it to Xu Yunjing’s lips.
Crab roe wasn’t for everyone in the Kuta Galaxy—some found it fishy.
Xu Yunjing didn’t believe an eight-legged monster could be edible.
Others had tried cooking these ugly creatures, but the result was so bad it made people want to chug a barrel of green fruit juice.
She didn’t want to eat it, but the beautiful fairy was feeding her and coaxing her to try!
Closing her eyes, she took the entire spoonful into her mouth, grateful she still had one last barrel of green fruit juice in her spatial node.
“Chew it! Are you planning to let it melt into water and slide down your throat? Your jaw might dislocate,” Meijiu teased, laughing at Xu Yunjing’s grim determination.
Hearing this, Xu Yunjing started chewing.
The more she chewed, the more she realized Meijiu was indeed a fairy.
How else could this foul eight-legged monster—no, crab—taste so delicious?
No wonder she didn’t want nutrient solutions.
If Xu Yunjing could eat crab every day, she’d ditch nutrient solutions too.
Despite new flavors, drinking them three times a day, every day, was unbearable.
Wealthy people tried cooking natural foods abundant in the galaxy, but aside from fruits and greens, most ended up as trash tossed into black holes.
After finishing the crab meat, Xu Yunjing glanced at Meijiu, then at the basin and spoon in her hands, swallowing hard as the sweet aftertaste lingered.
“You eat the rest. I’ll stick with nutrient solution,” she said, reaching for a red fruit-flavored one from her spatial node.
But Meijiu shoved the basin and spoon into her hands.
“It’s fine, you eat. I’ll catch more to roast. If you don’t like the roe, leave it for me.”
Meijiu smiled at her. Xu Yunjing’s face flushed red.
She hurriedly scooped another spoonful and stuffed it into her mouth.
It was the roe Meijiu mentioned, and she found it delicious too.
Satisfied and full, the succubus asked her burning question: “Xu Yunjing, what are your plans? Are you leaving? And… are you an Alpha?”
“I am an Alpha,” Xu Yunjing replied.
“Why? Did my pheromones affect you? I’m so sorry—I have pheromone dysregulation syndrome. If it bothers you, I’ll leave right away.”
She felt guilty; this time, her pheromone outburst during a small battle had caused her to pass out while piloting the interstellar travel pod.
