Pretending to Be a Scumbag A, But Being Targeted by a Paranoid O - Chapter 22
Xie Tang fought back the stinging in her eyes, her voice hoarse as she asked, “Yun Shu, why are you being so good to me?”
All the tenderness you see is just a mask to hide the ugliness within me.
Yun Shu, you shouldn’t be so good to me.
I’m not a good person.
I have a shameful past. If you knew, you’d be terrified of me.
Yun Shu’s mind swam in a haze, her head throbbing as if it would explode. Xie Tang’s pheromones were an irresistible, almost fatal attraction for her.
Yet even in this state, she clung to her persona. “Because… I’m your sugar daddy,” she said, suppressing a laugh, deliberately teasing to ease the tension. “My woman… of course I’ll spoil her.”
Xie Tang’s eyes darkened, her voice tinged with melancholy. “Is that all there is?”
Her mind was already burning with pheromones, barely clinging to clarity.
Yun Shu worried she might hurt Xie Tang. She frowned, realizing she was losing control.
This can’t go on. I absolutely can’t let this continue.
She gently pushed Xie Tang away, forcing her voice to sound stern. “Go back now.”
But she found she couldn’t move Xie Tang at all.
Xie Tang’s soft body held her firmly in her arms.
A sudden surge of jealousy flared within Xie Tang. She gripped Yun Shu’s wrist and whispered fiercely, “Impossible.”
“You want me to go back and let you find someone else?”
“Yun Shu, why are you trying to get close to me?”
Xie Tang voiced the question that had been tormenting her. For days, she had watched Yun Shu be unconditionally kind to her. No one could be so selfless without a reason.
Yun Shu, what do you want?
Why did you change my contract? Why are you so worried about me? Why are you trying to get close to me?
Is it because you pity me?
Does Xie Tang’s pitiful state earn Yun Shu’s sympathy?
Does Xie Tang’s pity make her special to Yun Shu?
“Yun Shu,” Xie Tang whispered close to Yun Shu’s ear, “I’m very difficult to deal with.”
Yun Shu’s ears rang, making it hard to hear clearly. Sweat began to drip from her forehead, her entire body sticky and uncomfortable. The glands at the back of her neck burned with heat.
She tugged open her collar, revealing her snow-white skin and the vulnerable glands at the nape of her neck.
Yun Shu had never acted like this before in front of Xie Tang. Those pure, innocent eyes were now filled with desire and longing. In the next moment, she turned her head away.
“Xie Tang… hot…” she murmured, her eyes closed, her voice pleading.
At that moment, Xie Tang’s mental defenses were crumbling, piece by piece.
She had never seen Yun Shu so disoriented and lost in passion. Her heart felt like it was being electrocuted, tingling and numb.
Perhaps… Yun Shu acted like this with other people too. Maybe her heat cycle had simply begun.
Could she still recognize the person she was desperately begging for?
A pang of bitterness welled up in Xie Tang’s heart. She gently pinched Yun Shu’s cheeks, forcing her to look up. Her gaze was filled with tenderness and anticipation as she asked in a low voice, “Yun Shu, do you still remember who I am?”
Yun Shu opened her beautiful eyes, which instantly filled with tears, her lips flushed red.
Xie Tang watched her intently, hoping to hear the answer she longed for.
“Good girl, tell me who I am,” Xie Tang coaxed, her voice softer than she could have imagined.
Barely conscious, Yun Shu strained to understand Xie Tang’s question. With immense effort, she clearly enunciated Xie Tang’s name.
“Xie… Tang.”
She answered obediently, her tear-filled eyes fixed on Xie Tang.
Xie Tang’s lips tightened as she gazed deeply at Yun Shu, her gaze finally settling on the scent gland at the nape of her neck.
“Yun Shu, are you sure you want me to give you a temporary mark?” Xie Tang asked, clinging to her last shred of rationality. Though she was the one who should be weak and vulnerable, Xie Tang felt remarkably clear-headed.
“Do you understand what it means to allow someone to temporarily mark you?”
“I know,” Yun Shu replied, her mind too hazy to think clearly. She could only respond instinctively.
“Xie Tang, bite me.”
“Good girl,” Xie Tang murmured, stroking her cheek. “I’ll give it to you.”
With that, she lowered her head and bit Yun Shu’s neck fiercely.
“Ah…” Yun Shu gasped softly, her hands clenching Xie Tang’s collar, but it was no use.
Both of Yun Shu’s hands were pinned by Xie Tang. Her head was turned to the side, and she remained still as Xie Tang poured her pheromones into her.
“It hurts…” Yun Shu whimpered, her voice trembling. “Be gentle.”
The Omega’s potent peach scent bloomed fully in that moment. An Alpha’s glands were never meant to withstand such intense marking. Xie Tang’s pheromone infusion brought Yun Shu unbearable pain, yet within seconds, a flush began to spread across her cheeks.
This meant Yun Shu wasn’t rejecting Xie Tang’s pheromones.
Between Alphas and Omegas, repeated markings gradually allow each other’s glands to adapt to their pheromones, and vice versa for Omegas and Alphas.
But that wasn’t what was happening.
Moreover, between Omegas and Alphas, the Alpha’s pheromones exert dominance.
Yun Shu’s glands currently contained only Xie Tang’s scent, completely saturated with her pheromones.
This…
During this time, Xie Tang’s teeth repeatedly pierced Yun Shu’s neck.
The peach scent gradually overwhelmed the mugwort fragrance, spreading wildly through the classroom.
Yun Shu initially struggled, but Xie Tang’s strength was surprisingly overwhelming. She couldn’t even push her away. By the end, her nape was bitten beyond recognition, smelling like a bl00d-tinged peach.
After the marking was complete, Xie Tang caressed Yun Shu’s face, her own cheeks flushed with a faint, excited red.
This seemed to be the first time she had marked Yun Shu so clearly and consciously.
She lowered her gaze and carefully wiped the sweat from Yun Shu’s cheeks, like a wanderer who had finally found a cherished treasure.
