Stealing My Stepsister's Fiancée - Chapter 23
Chapter 23: Want to Kiss My Sister
“Let’s do it once, Su Yu,” she said.
Just once. After this, she probably wouldn’t want to cling to her anymore.
Ni Hezhi felt like she was possessed. In broad daylight, she had blurted out such lewd words, completely out of place.
Fortunately, Grandma hadn’t heard. The old woman’s gaze turned to her, filled with tenderness and affection: “Zhizhi, are you feeling better?”
Su Yu instinctively turned her head at the sound, a movement of just a second, missing that one sentence—
“Let’s do it once, Su Yu.”
Once the desire was ignited, it blazed endlessly. Ni Hezhi no longer had the presence of mind to speculate whether Su Yu genuinely hadn’t heard or was pretending not to.
She bit her lip hard, forcing herself to pull away from the throes of estrus desire, maintaining a sliver of rationality. She offered the old woman a slight, charming smile: “Grandma, I’m fine.”
“It’s good that you’re fine.” Grandma had been a little worried, but seeing Ni Hezhi’s brows relax and her complexion return to normal, her suspended heart finally settled. She quickly urged them to sit down: “A Yu, quickly help Zhizhi over to sit. The food’s getting cold.”
Su Yu and Ni Hezhi sat side-by-side. Grandma put a piece of food into Ni Hezhi’s rice bowl. Just as she was about to scoop soup for her, Su Yu had already taken the small bowl in front of Ni Hezhi, picked out the flesh from the fish belly, carefully checked to ensure there were no bones, and then put the bowl back.
Ni Hezhi had no appetite for food. Her mind was racing, trying to find an excuse to leave the table and, incidentally, abduct the little airhead.
She really couldn’t hold on much longer. Her body felt as if it were burning, a fire raging, and the unbearable loneliness in her flower valley was flowing freely.
The triangular fabric was getting wetter and wetter, emitting an intoxicating datura scent, luring diligent bees to collect nectar.
Ni Hezhi bit the tip of her筷子, looking up at the clumsy little bee. Su Yu was caught red-handed by her gaze, her expression freezing. She clearly didn’t understand the desire in the Omega’s eyes, and foolishly said, “I’ve picked it, there are no bones.”
Ni Hezhi was practically dying of frustration. Who wanted to eat fish? Wasn’t she afraid of getting choked again? She only wanted to eat you, you idiot!
Grandma observed with a knowing, teasing smile: “Oh, when did my A Yu become so good at taking care of people?”
Su Yu’s cheeks instantly flushed. Just as she was about to take Grandma’s bowl to scoop soup, Ni Hezhi had already acted first, filling Grandma’s bowl with fish soup: “Grandma, please have some soup.”
Grandma already liked Ni Hezhi’s sweet talk and sensible nature, thinking that even if she was a bit delicate, it didn’t matter. Now seeing her filial and considerate, her heart was even more pleased.
If only she could be with her silly granddaughter…
The old woman had witnessed her granddaughter’s changes over the past few days. Although Su Yu always deliberately or inadvertently avoided Ni Hezhi, “liking” something, even if you desperately tried to hide it, even if locked in the deepest part of your heart, it would still secretly sprout in your eyes, struggling to bloom with vibrant spring flowers.
The old woman decided to help this foolish child. She casually lifted her eyes and deliberately asked, “A Yu, what do you think about what Secretary Qiu said?”
Su Yu frowned, her voice a little cold: “Grandma, I don’t like Qiu Xiaoxia.”
The old woman understood perfectly and immediately broke into a smile: “Good, good! Grandma understands what you mean. The next time Secretary Qiu comes to our house, Grandma will decline for you.”
“Mm,” Su Yu’s nasal sound was clear and strong.
Hearing Su Yu’s “I don’t like Qiu Xiaoxia,” Ni Hezhi felt reborn. A sense of vitality flowed through her limbs and bones, and the smile on her lips bloomed wider and wider, refusing to fade.
What the hell!
Su Yu could like whoever she wanted!
She didn’t care!
Though she spoke so haughtily, her eyes involuntarily turned to look at Su Yu’s expression. With just one glance, she fell into a pair of deep, dark eyes.
She and Su Yu sat side-by-side on a long wooden bench, very close to each other. After their breaths paused for a moment, they became rapid, intertwining ambiguously.
Ni Hezhi guessed Su Yu had been looking at her for a long time, otherwise how could her eyes be so captivating, making it impossible for her to escape?
During their eye contact, Ni Hezhi’s lips parted slightly.
Su Yu’s gaze followed downward, landing on her lips: dewy, soft, and delicately pink, with full, plump philtrums and two shallow dimples at the corners.
Ni Hezhi caught Su Yu’s swallow.
Then, Su Yu slowly lifted her eyes, re-engaging with Ni Hezhi’s gaze.
Su Yu’s eyes were a little moist, a little deep. She just stared at Ni Hezhi silently, looking at her eyes, her lips, everything on her face.
Oh my god!
Who could resist such a longing yet restrained gaze? That kind of hidden restraint, a clear desire to kiss, yet held back, oddly excited Ni Hezhi.
It turned out Su Yu didn’t dislike her as much as she’d imagined. At least, the look that lingered on her lips clearly spelled out—”want to kiss.”
The emotions in her chest were so full they were about to explode, causing all the bl00d in her body to surge and gather in that gently flowing narrow valley…
The stir-fry videos in her mind spun and spun; she even wanted to pull Su Yu to try them out.
After a few moments of silence, Ni Hezhi began to look for an excuse to leave.
She casually looked at Grandma, adopting a sweet, obedient tone: “Grandma, I’m full. You eat slowly, I’ll go back to my room first.”
The old woman smiled and nodded: “Go on, rest early.”
Ni Hezhi nodded, slowly stood up, and deliberately paused beside the old woman, complaining sweetly: “Grandma, do you think the mosquitoes here are also bullying newcomers?”
“What’s wrong?” Grandma paused slightly, then understood: “Got bitten by mosquitoes?”
“Exactly, Grandma, look…”
Ni Hezhi lifted her skirt. The old woman’s gaze fell, seeing only red spots covering the Omega’s leg, like marks left by mosquito bites.
Ni Hezhi had fair skin, and any mark on it appeared strikingly conspicuous. Even more so were these patches of spots, like red plum blossoms scattered on snow, becoming even more shocking.
“My goodness, how did you get bitten like this…” Grandma was distressed: “Even the mosquitoes in our poor mountain village are cunning, they only bite delicate skin.”
Upon hearing this, Su Yu abruptly stood up, her face flushed as she glanced at Ni Hezhi’s fair thigh. Her brows visibly furrowed: “Grandma, I’ll go boil some anti-itch water.”
“Good, hurry.” Grandma instructed uneasily: “Two taels each of mint and mugwort, three taels of honeysuckle, and grab a handful of scorpion grass. Boil it with two bowls of water for half an hour…”
Su Yu hurried out: “Got it, Grandma.”
The old woman turned to comfort Ni Hezhi: “The mosquito repellent we mountain folk boil ourselves not only stops itching but also has a calming effect. Rub the juice on the mosquito bites, and I guarantee they’ll be gone tomorrow.”
Ni Hezhi obediently nodded: “Thank you, Grandma. I’ll go back to my room then.”
The old woman smiled: “Okay.”
After boiling the mosquito repellent and anti-itch water and letting it cool for half an hour, it was almost late night. Su Yu stood outside Ni Hezhi’s room, holding the porcelain basin, wondering if she was asleep. After hesitating for a long time, she finally raised her hand and knocked on the door.
A sweet, languid voice came from inside: “Come in…”
Su Yu pushed the door open and stepped inside. The night breeze blew through the window cracks, swaying the overlapping sheer curtains, and the beautiful scene on the bed unexpectedly came into view.
In the dim light, Ni Hezhi lay languidly on the bed, her dark long hair casually spread out, resting near her parted red lips. She was only wrapped in a sheer veil as thin as a cicada’s wing, with nothing underneath. Her full, white mounds were faintly visible.
The orange-yellow light, like a sunset glow, spread across her jade-like back, her figure graceful, her waist slightly indented, like a porcelain vase carved from white marble. The vivid scene was utterly captivating.
Su Yu’s brain buzzed and exploded. Her steps immediately halted, and a deep blush spread across her cheeks.
Ni Hezhi saw no movement for a long time, so she turned her head and threw Su Yu a seductive glance: “Why are you just standing there? Come here, I’ve been waiting for you for ages.”
Su Yu walked closer, though her gaze dared not stray to Ni Hezhi’s body. She walked straight to the desk and put down the bowl: “The anti-itch water, I… I put it here.”
She had barely turned around when the Omega’s soft, sweet, murmurous voice drifted into her ears.
“You haven’t told me how to use it. Is it internal, or external?”
Su Yu stood woodenly, her eyelashes trembling with restraint, her throat feeling faintly suffocated. The air seemed to have grown thin.
“It’s… it’s applied to the mosquito bites,” Su Yu pursed her lips, adding in a whisper, “It’s very effective.”
Having said that, she didn’t dare to linger for a moment and lifted her foot to leave.
A rustling sound came from behind her. An alluring scent gradually approached, like a net woven of fine, hot threads, climbing and wrapping around her spine, enveloping her entire body, binding her motionless.
Ni Hezhi embraced her from behind, her fingers tracing her back, moving up along her rugged spine. Her warm, wet lips pressed against Su Yu’s ear: “Aren’t you staying for a cup of tea?”
Su Yu, pure as a blank sheet of paper, had no idea what a girl meant by inviting her to stay in her room for tea. She foolishly replied, “I’m not thirsty.”
Ni Hezhi slowly moved in front of Su Yu, finding it amusing to see the mix of fervent and ashamed emotions in her eyes.
She hooked her arm around Su Yu’s neck, slowly bringing her face close to Su Yu’s lips: “So, you’re leaving, aren’t you?”
Su Yu’s body stiffened for a few seconds. Ni Hezhi, soft and boneless, arched into her arms, her voice softening as she whined, “Are you leaving?”
Su Yu hastily lowered her eyes, meeting Ni Hezhi’s moist gaze. The Omega’s eyes were so seductive they could drip water, alluring and heart-stirring.
Su Yu knew she should push her away, but her legs felt tied by an invisible thread, unable to move.
She couldn’t leave…
Su Yu considered herself not the type of person to be addicted to beauty, or to become immobile at the sight of a pretty girl. But she didn’t know when, she stopped resisting Ni Hezhi’s closeness, and even didn’t reject the intentionally provocative, lewd words she spoke.
She couldn’t trace back when it happened. After a brief moment of distraction, Su Yu gathered a shred of clarity and stammered, “I need to review my homework.”
Ni Hezhi lifted her foot, her fair, tender foot brushing against Su Yu’s leg. Her eyes, as they shifted, exuded allure and charm: “But, I also have many mosquito bites on my back, and I can’t reach them myself. Will you help me apply it… please?”
Seeing Su Yu’s troubled expression, she wasn’t annoyed. Her long, thick lashes fluttered: “I was going to ask Grandma for help, but she’s probably asleep now. My back has so many bites, and they’re itchy. Shu Hui is deaf, she can’t help…”
Ni Hezhi rubbed against her in her arms, deliberately letting the sheer, cicada-wing-thin gown slip from her shoulder. Ni Hezhi’s fair, tender neck and back, dotted with red marks, fell into Su Yu’s sight.
Indeed… so many mosquito bites.
Those eyes, which had been downcast, finally lifted, but there was still a hint of hesitation in them.
“Xiaoyu, will you help me, please?” Ni Hezhi’s toes slowly climbed onto Su Yu’s foot, stepping on it. Her lips drooped, with a hint of grievance: “My feet are so cold. Carry me to the bed.”
Her voice was soft, intentionally trembling slightly, like a newborn kitten.
Su Yu knew this little kitten wasn’t domesticated; wildness was etched into its bones, hard to tame. She kept telling herself she couldn’t stay here; if she stayed any longer, she didn’t know where she’d find her rationality.
But rationality was one thing, and her heart was another.
After a long gaze, Su Yu, as if resigned, reached out and embraced Ni Hezhi’s slender waist. Her other arm went under Ni Hezhi’s knees. Ni Hezhi suddenly felt light as Su Yu lifted her horizontally.
Ni Hezhi was momentarily stunned, then tightened her arms around Su Yu’s neck and smiled seductively.
“Little airhead, are you this strong?” Ni Hezhi lowered her head and buried it in Su Yu’s neck, feeling secure and safe in her embrace. Suddenly, she squeezed Su Yu’s wrist, smiling suggestively: “With this much strength, even if we ‘stir-fry’ every day, you won’t get tenosynovitis, right?”
Su Yu was stumped, confusion in her eyes, like a failing student who couldn’t understand the question.
Stir-fry?
Stir-fry what?
What was tenosynovitis?
